I Like Telling Stories
Posted by Frank J. at 06:32 PM | View blog reactions | Comments (21)

I had a lot of fun doing stories bit-by-bit, but that's one of the sort of things I plan to move to a separate blog since it doesn't fit with the political humor. I might not have time to start until my house is on the market, but I want to start planning it now. What I've been thinking of doing is a sequel to Superego (yeah, Rico didn't actually die; I just never got around to writing the epilogue), taking on Hellbender again, or some new idea I've been batting around. What do you think?

Woops, can I change my vote?
I want you to write a sci fi love story between a female robot and a man whose job is is to hunt down the robot and destroy it.

What about something about paranoid Liberals, like you could link to prison planet and skif their posts... I know I shouldn't interfere with someone's creative license, but I figured that you were looking for something different...

I rather enjoyed the Hellbender stuff you put on Baen's Bar. Obviously it needs tweaking and editing, but it caught my attention and made me want the rest of the story.

GOP Senator David Vitter liked telling stories too - like the one about how he was this great family man.

Rico has a score to settle with his dad. plus he's the charachter most likely to kill someone with something unusual like a chicken bone or a light bulb. I re-read superego last night and can't wait for the movie to come out.

Wal,

Hey, ese, what did you expect?

You cannot stop a hot-blooded Latin Lover, especially when all the chickas are irresistibly drawn to his macho sexy Latino magnificence!

She could not resist my charms, besides I'm doing the jobs that Americans won't do...

...She told me she had a pothole that needed filling, and, and, - it was my duty to oblige.

When's the next volume of Dubya coming out? I really couldn't read Hellbender.

#9 - Posted by: gingeroni on July 10, 2007 10:41 PM

Superego!!! I absolutely loved that storyline.

Although I would not be disappointed with a Hellbender stint, either.

Even something new would be tolerable. Still, Superego FTW!

Fart Chasm Man needs to work on his segues...

#12 - Posted by: bunkerboy on July 11, 2007 02:45 AM

Either the Paulbots are back, or a lot of people agree that "The only way I could care less is if I were dead" sounds like a kickass story premise. :-p

Wow! A bunch of smart asses at IMAO! Who would have expected that?

#14 - Posted by: ussjimmycarter on July 11, 2007 04:38 AM

I couldn't get enough of Superego. Hell, I even liked the Super Eggo alternate ending.

A sequel sounds like a great ride.

Superego rocked!

Fart Chasm Man needs to work on his segues...

On the subject of segues bunkerdork... Bush sucks at riding them.

#17 - Posted by: Sarcasm Man on July 11, 2007 09:09 AM

On the subject of sucks, I want a nickel every time someone refers to Sarky as Fart Chasm Man. I thought it up - it's only fair...

Don't listen to the naysayers! (unless you want to laugh at them because they sound like horses. And not ones like Ed; I'm talking about your normal "giddy-up" type horses.) They don't appreciate the free ice-cream anyway. I've really enjoyed your serials in the past; give us another, or finish Hellbender (though that might work better if you planned it more). You need to do whatever you want to do with your blog soon, before you lose so many shares that you don't have a controlling interest anymore!

Why is there no Ru Paul related choice in the poll?

#20 - Posted by: Spyndrilleum on July 11, 2007 05:36 PM

Long time IMAO readers know that the "only way I could care less is if I were dead" option is a trap. It is a veiled invitation for Frank to hunt them down and help them, well, "care less"
