Either He's Telling the Truth and He's a Scumbag or He's Lying and He's a Scumbag
Posted by Frank J. at 01:53 PM | View blog reactions | Comments (17)

I feel like I should post on this subject since the rest of the blogs are going on and on about it, but I just never cared that much. You had The New Republic publishing the account of one supposed soldier, Scott Thomas, in an attempt to make all our troops look evil. How enlightening of them. And, of course, it ends up the soldier's account has huge holes in it. So, the soldier has been identified and now he's calling all his critics "chickenhawks" even though most of his critics are veterans who took such slander much more personally. And it appears that Scott Thomas was a leftist even before going into the military (and then just happened to participate in atrocities that help his narrative after joining). And there's still no evidence of anything he said.

Lesson learned: Liberals hate the military and our troops even when they are in the military. So, don't let people who are openly liberal in the military.

This guy is the same type I knew in the Army. There's at least one in every platoon. An overly self-important slacker who believes himself to be above it all, that his comrades are morons and hayseeds. The kind who takes tirades from NCOs personally; "Beauchamp, you look like a bag of smashed assholes! Square away that uniform."

What always came to mind when dealing with these whiny little dickweeds was "well why the hell did you enlist?"

I might actually have known this guy when I was younger. Any word what state he's from?

Who wants to bet that he owns a vehicle with a Kerry/Edwards sticker on it?

I delt with a few during the invasion. They were pre 9-11ers who joined for free college money. Then their government actually gave the call, and they were perplexed that they might have to go use that rifle they learned to shoot.

Squirrly is the best adjective I think. Especially when rounds come down range, hehe.

I know a mountain of a man named Scott Thomas, he would grind this puke into dust just for having the same name after what he's done.

and now he's calling his critics "chickenhawk"

interesting, a guy who sat on his ass while he claims a friend of his was making fun of a woman wounded in an IED explosion, and brought her to tears, is calling other people cowards.

takes a real man to ridicule and berate wounded women! hope someone takes him out and bitch slaps him...hard!

#7 - Posted by: ussjimmycarter on July 26, 2007 03:47 PM

That shit never happened. No one around would put with anything like that especially from a punkass little bitch like this waste of skin seems to be.

Friends? Trust me, he ain't got any. Probably sits alone in the mess hall and as for the woman being made fun of... it's him.

my brother was at FOB falcon. I asked him about the story he said it was "B.S." (but he didn't just use letters, and come to think of it a word with the letter f came before the b). That nitwit is looking for I don't what. But He's making false shots at my brother's base and the folks who had my brothers 6 and who got my brother home safe. I owe those good folks BIGTIME. so that nitwit isn't cool in this corner o' the world. To all here I bid peace love and understanding.
all the best

"Mr. Beauchamp" ...wasn't he that pissy little pulp fiction writer in "The Unforgiven?"

"...'deserves' got nothing to do with it."

Once again, truth is stranger than pulp fiction.

lesse...makes up lies to make the troops fighting right by his side look like insane blood thirsty baby killers... sounds like this guy might have a future in politics as a Massachusetts senator and failed presidential candidate....

Scott Beauchamp is: Jughead!

Coming soon to a theater near you.

The military defends the Constitution and the rights of the American people. So even if the person is badmouthing the military, any veteran or military member that has his/her head on straight will note that it is that person's right to express that opinion.
Whether the veteran/servicemember is pissed off about and *wants* to punch the person is a different question.

Back in the 70's we had a lot of guys like this. Totally worthless, they proved that having a draft was a really BAD idea! Even now I want to barf thinking of some I knew.

'Scuse me, gotta find a toilet!

Lesson learned: Liberals hate the military and our troops And will lie like dogs and believe any lie that further their anti-military anti-troop agenda.

Opinions are one thing.

Lying like this is totally another. The right to free speech does not cover lying. It does not cover intentional lying meant to cause your harm.
