Silly Kos Kids, Politics Is for Adults
Posted by Frank J. at 12:13 PM | View blog reactions | Comments (15)

O'Reilly's has been hammering DailyKos for being a hate site, something obvious to anyone who has scanned the front page. This light shined on the cockroaches caused JetBlue to pull sponsorship on YearlyKos, DailyKos's once a year event where the writers of DailyKos emerge from their parents' basements and sit in circles and defecate on each other while Democrats pretend to listen to their insane blather.

Kos emerges from his hole for a rare public appearance. (Picture burgled from Hot Air)
Now, you have to understand, liberals are used to being coddled by the media, and the vitamin D deficient denizens of DailyKos have particularly thin skin. As right-wingers, we're used to being accused of every ill of mankind, but if one person suggests to a Kwazy Kos Kid that he's not quite in the mainstream, he gets apoplectic. They think that the news media is right-leaning, and you have to be quite insane to reach that viewpoint. We're talking "Psychologist Running Out of the Room Screaming, 'Don't Let Him Touch Me and Get His Crazy on Me!'" insane. So having a particular show on a news network turn against them is intolerable beyond their understanding. With the defection of JetBlue, they're less inclined to take a hard look at themselves and more open to the idea of freaking out like a bunch of rats that just had their cage shaken.

So the Kwazy Kos Kids and the rest of the Candy Land-based community are now shaking their tiny fists in impotent rage against FOX News's advertisers. Now having much combined spending power (it's the Bush economy's fault that their parents cut their allowances), they're hoping they can annoy the advertisers to death by calling them over and over (and since one of FOX News's biggest advertisers is HeadOn, I don't think they'll even consider being told the same thing over and over annoying).

Their efforts most likely won't amount to anything, but I think it would be a great idea if FOX News struck back by profiling a Kwazy Kos Kid each day thus putting the site under further spotlight for the sake of humiliation. Start with those who post on the front page and move on to the most prolific commenters and diarists. They should all be quite interesting since I sincerely doubt that any regular participant on the DailyKos is mentally stable, because why would any sane person regularly read and comment on such drivel?

"BooshH4ter4000 is against war though he thinks that violence against Republicans is sometimes justified. He believes that terrorism is simply media hype and that President Bush is going to turn America into dictatorship and refuse to leave office in 2009. He also takes pride in how much smarter he and the rest of DailyKos are than the American public. Such a proclamation was met with great agreement in the comments, a few of which were grammatically correct.

"Posting on the front page of the Daily Kos, this is one of the more prominent DailyKos members that Hillary and Obama will try to seek the approval of at YearlyKos."

Really, this would be a great service FOX News could do for America. People like everyone at DailyKos should be ridiculed away from any active participation in our government. We don't tolerate overt racists participating in the two major parties, and thus we shouldn't tolerate the Kwazy Kos Kids who are even nuttier haters. They certainly are free to have their silly little site, but participation in it should be a conscious decision to be pariahs. That's just common sense. I'm not sure how big a difference the Kwazy Kos Kids' involvement in politics makes if any and whether the Democrats patronizing them and pretending they don't think they're weird or insane has any effect on major policy, but we should at least follow principle and make sure no one outside of their weird circle even acts like they take those goobers seriously. Like all mentally unstable people, they need to be isolated for their own good... and perhaps have a large amount of voltage shot through their brains. It's the compassionate thing to do.

Great idea Frank. Anytime you cast light on leftists it hurts their cause (your cockroach metaphor is most appropriate).
Briefly there was some data available after the 2000 election that highlighted some of the basic sociological differences between liberals and conservatives. The asymmetry was very enlightening, and apparently considered too revealing by the MSM in that they made very little of the distinctions. Needless to say they were less than flattering to liberals. Conservatives were likely to be better educated, make more money, be in a successful marriage, have children, contribute to charity, and less likely to be a felon, dependent on government largesse, reliant on subsidized services, or employed by government.

I'm quite certain liberal democrats also have a distinct advantage in the "parent provided basement apartment" demographic as well.

"Psychologist Running Out of the Room Screaming, 'Don't Let Him Touch Me and Get His Crazy on Me!'"

I bow before the rhetorical brilliance that is FrankJ.

Great post.

When you say: "...and perhaps have a large amount of voltage shot through their brains" are you speaking of electro-convulsive therapy or "old sparky?" My thought is that only one is a permanent solution...but the carbon offsets would be prohibitive.

Kos' 13-24 age demo will stop buying Gold Bond Medicated Powder and HoverRound Mobility Scooters?! Wall Street's gonna take a hit. Put your money in gold, people!

OH MY GOD that's funny. And what could be better than THAT PHOTO?

It looks like the twisted little left-wing troll is playing with his nipples.

The Daily Kos: A crappy website run by a guy who's not from our country, supported by folks like George Soros, who are not from our country, bitching about our country. And anyone cares what they think because...?

From Fox news:

"Once a database is gathered, an organized phone-calling campaign will begin, said Jim Gilliam..."

Uh oh!

What could be scarier than getting some phone calls? It's going to have the same impact as telemarketing did- which, besides being mildly irritating, wasn't much. "Excuse me sir, for a moment of your time. I represent a..." *click*

My concern for the Kosmonauts is that they might get all worn out & sleepy from having to hold those heavy receivers & cell phones up to their ears for so long. And what about their delicate li'l fingers, having to press those buttons that many times? Oh, the humanity!

Incidentally, Gilliam is some turd who thinks he's Michael Moore's protege' or some such.

Alamo, do you have a reference for that stat? I would like to put it on my blog.

#8 - Posted by: Monty on July 30, 2007 02:03 PM

Hi Monty;

As I alluded to above, complete statistics are more difficult to come by, but they can be found around the net. CNN (it pains me to use them as a source!) still has some election demographics available from the 2004. See:http://www.cnn.com/ELECTION/2004/pages/results/states/US/P/00/epolls.0.html

Huh. You made me do a double-take with this...

O'Reilly's has been hammering DailyKos for being a hate site, something obvious to anyone who has scanned the front page.

Just this morning I had been lectured about the complete opposite by another tell-ya-what-to-think lefty type: "In general the level of civility [at KOS] is quite high."
I disagree with your impression of DailyKos, though. I've seen a lot of controversy there, and people presenting unpopular opinions, and in general the level of civility there is quite high, certainly higher than that observed here. Yes, they can be hard on trolls -- but genuine trolls deserve it. I have never seen honest, civil disagreement treated rudely.

Comment page is here.

Thought it might be productive to share that. Shimmering beacon of human civility at its zenith, or swampland of poison and vitriol? Must be one or the other. Could it be both?

I think Right-Thinking Talk Radio needs to pick up on these advertisers that are being harassed by the Kossacks and direct their own praise campaigns. They may be more extreme, but there are more of of us.

It'll keep the old advertisers and attract some new.

Plus, it'll teach the Kos Kiddos a valuable lesson: when they aim for progress, the exact opposite happens.

The accusations that DailyKos's once a year event where the writers of DailyKos emerge from their parents' basements and... is just plain wrong and dumb to boot. How many 12X60s in the trailer parks have basements? How many ghetto slum low rent cold water flats have basements?
Come on! Get Real! That comments implies their parents have jobs and live in respectable abodes.
I seriously resent the implication that people who would get thrown out of homeless shelters come from such proud beginnings.

Wow. You guys make fun of a blog with totally made up crap and can only drag up 12 comments. How very sad.
Anyhoo, Markos was born in Chicago and served in the US Army. His website is no more a hate site than this sad lonely place. And some facts for you factually challenged red staters
-Most blue states contribute more to the US government in taxes than they receive back in benefits. Its the opposite for most southern.western Red states (Thus they are the true welfare states).
-Massachusetts has a lower divorce rate than most southern states
-Blue states are on average better educated and well off.
But keep it all up. You guys dont seem to have much to do but read the same lonely blogs and beat off to ugly pam from Atlas shrugged

#13 - Posted by: Drew on July 31, 2007 09:31 AM

I'l slow down and explain this for you Drew, you moron.

Whether you live in a blue state or red state you may still vote for either party you shithead (and I'm not being hateful, just factual).

There are Republicans in Massachusetts. You know, the married ones, the ones with kids, who don't work for the government, activist organizations, or Ted Kennedy. The ones who actually pay the taxes in that crappy state.

Blue states, which tend to be urbanized and coastal also are centers for commerce. Large business entities tend to incorporate there. I know it's a stretch trying to explain the nation wide nature of business economics to a Kos Kid, but the federal tax revenue from individual states has nothing to do with the political leanings of that state. I know y'all are simpletons, but just try and cut through that moonbat haze.

The facts ARE, productive citizens (read: net contributors) tend to be conservative and vote Republican. They are much more likely to have served in the military, contribute to charity, be married, have kids, and are better educated.

Argue if you wish, but your ignorance of the facts tend to reinforce that point about education.

Good luck to you and hope the basements not too musty.

Hey Drew-

//Wow. You guys make fun of a blog with totally made up crap and can only drag up 12 comments. How very sad.//

Could it be that we have lives & jobs? You ought to try it.

And thanks for the bio on Kos. The fact that he was in the Army but acts the way he does now shows how some people deteriorate morally when they are taken out of a structured environment; he should've stayed in.
