Star Trash: The Motion Hotness
Posted by spacemonkey at 01:41 PM | View blog reactions | Comments (29)

Did you hear? In order to attract the 20 something crowd, the next Star Trek movie is going to be rife with nudity and violence.

In fact...

I heard it was so bad it was going to be rated NCC-1701.

Really really really bad. I have a headache now.

Doooop!

A, B, C, D, or E?

#5 - Posted by: Rusgreim on August 2, 2007 02:06 PM

So bad, and yet... I giggled. Giggled hard.

I love geeky humor.

#6 - Posted by: Anna V. on August 2, 2007 02:06 PM

God, someone please post something funny to wash the taste of this awful post out of my eyes...

#7 - Posted by: Alice H on August 2, 2007 02:09 PM

This is a formal request that spacemonkey cease all attempts at humor. In the event he continues to make very bad Star Trek humor we will be forced to meet the fate of an away team red shirted ensign.

Spacemonkey make a funny. Thag laugh. Thag like Monkey.

#9 - Posted by: Casper the Friendly Host on August 2, 2007 02:17 PM

Non-geeks wouldn't get this.

#10 - Posted by: spacemonkey on August 2, 2007 02:21 PM

My Star Destroyer pwnz ur Star Trek Enterprise FTW.

I haven't fed my monkey in months. He has little hunger spasms. Those are funny.

#11 - Posted by: Ringmaster on August 2, 2007 02:22 PM

Thanks Spacemonkey!

I just got my budy to bite on that by IM.

After he stopped typing the curses, I gave you credit.

They're not saying "Boo", they're saying "Boo-urns"

#13 - Posted by: Chris on August 2, 2007 03:26 PM

//Non-geeks wouldn't get this.//

Boy, you're just on a roll today, aren't you?

Sheesh.

#14 - Posted by: AlanABQ on August 2, 2007 03:28 PM

I wish I didn't get that.

#15 - Posted by: Matty G on August 2, 2007 03:38 PM

OK, that was bad... but it DID make me immedately think of seven of nine in the buff...

now... I must punish myself for such an unacceptable thought... let the beatings begin immediately.

#16 - Posted by: Amer-I-Can on August 2, 2007 03:38 PM

This thread is worthless without picts....

#17 - Posted by: booby troll on August 2, 2007 03:39 PM

Kool -- Any idea what the title will be? I hope it doesn't have Leonard Nimoy naked...I don't wanna see that! OMG! Not Uhura! Please NO!!! (Wouldn't mind seeing their heads blown clean off though.) Violence can be fun.

#18 - Posted by: Fast Eddie on August 2, 2007 04:16 PM

hehe, I thought it was funny.

#19 - Posted by: hkpistole on August 2, 2007 04:20 PM

They better kill Whoopie Goldbergs' character off in the opening credits or I'm leaving.

#20 - Posted by: will.see on August 2, 2007 04:39 PM

I don't care what anyone else says, that is the best joke evah

#21 - Posted by: AR on August 2, 2007 07:00 PM

Bad, yes. But we had to giggle. More importantly, we couldn't see beyond the part about excessive nudity and violence to see the punchline. Way to go, Frank.

First Harvey gets mistaken for Frank, now Spacemonkey. What is this world coming to? Thank God for the coming Barakalypse. (I'm trying to interject that in at least every post because it makes me giggle like John Edwards every time.

#23 - Posted by: DesertElephant on August 2, 2007 07:33 PM

For this you must pay a terrible price!

#24 - Posted by: jeffreyo on August 2, 2007 07:36 PM

Possible names for the movie:

"The Wrath of Kama Sutra"

"The Trouble with Transvestites"

"Star Trek: The Next Penetration"

"Star Trek: Her Deep Space"

#25 - Posted by: Son of Bob on August 2, 2007 07:43 PM

We Have A Winner! Didn't even snicker at original post, but "Son of Bob" made me laugh so hard it hurt.
Great job! Maybe the last could be ST Deep Space 69.

#26 - Posted by: JeremyB on August 2, 2007 09:57 PM

How 'bout Star Trek: The Voyeur Homo?

#27 - Posted by: AlanABQ on August 2, 2007 10:05 PM

Booo!

#28 - Posted by: NMUSpidey on August 3, 2007 11:22 AM

Man, y'all are innocents, aren't you? Haven't anyone here heard of the K/S sub-genre in Star Trek fan fiction? It started when the original series was on the air.

Basically K/S fans assume a sexual relationship between Kirk and Spock. Gives a whole new meaning to that scene in the first movie, when Spock takes Kirk's hand (after nearly getting killed trying to mind-meld with Veeger), and mentions "this simple feeling," doesn't it? :)

...And what's wrong with Uhura naked? Well, "Uhura back in 1969," anyway. Heh.

Lord knows Gene Roddenberry didn't mind...
