* * * * What's the story behind your name? I was originally posting as Chris, but then another Chris started posting, so I decided to copy FrankJ and use my last initial. I'm not very clever at inventing nicknames for myself. Where do you live? Winnebago, MN. And yes... we have a Dairy Queen here... not much else, though. My wife and I moved up here a year ago from Phoenix. You can shoot guns out on the farms! All I have to do now is finally get my own gun. How old are you? 27 Tell us briefly about yourself. I'm married, work in a factory, go to church as a part-time aspiring Catholic. My hobbies are BBQing, playing with power tools, and making fun of hippies. I'm also looking at going to school to become an engineer. Humor is fascist. Explain. I would've almost said it wasn't. But, maybe it is in the sense that it causes you to laugh uncontrollably, have difficulty breathing. After having experienced real humor, you'd have even more trouble being able to tolerate hate-filled lefties. So could it be fascist for having forced a change? How long have you been reading IMAO? I've been reading for a few years now. I'm not sure how I found it anymore, but it made me laugh. What's your favorite IMAO post? In My World has been a favorite along with some of the Don't Be a Hate-Filled Lefty. Fabulous Facts of John Edwards have been fun, too. What's you favorite political issue? I like anything that exposes corrupt politicians or debunks the mainstream media. Crushing the immigration bill has been a real 'power to the people' moment. Do you have a website? If so, please tell us briefly about it. I have a dorky blog at http://bitofterrific.blogspot.com/ I don't post very often, and it's usually about food when I do. What would you do with a million pesos? I would ask my wife for a quarter, then I'd combine it with the million pesos and go to Burger King to get a value meal. I post on other sites using that one now, too. I have a few guns in mind. I've been thinking about a 9mm (from what I understand, ammo wouldn't be too pricey, then I could practice a lot.) I'd love to get a .45 (They're just so cool). Other than that, I'm not sure yet. I'm open to suggestions. You talk as much smack as you can in the fewest words possible & still get the point across. I hope you never change. If you get nothing else, get a 12 gauge shotgun w/ a modified stock (pistol grip interchangeable)... Sabot slugs can be wicked fun. Also, get a well made revolver: no casings left behind after busting up a hippy rally & they don't jam. A good starter gun for me would've been an HK MP7 PDW. A GLOCK would be my first choice they average about $550 and a Kel-tec would be my second---the kel-tec though may require some polishing to remove tool marks from the factory, aka a fluff and buff. CCW .357 revolver. Next was a Glock 36 .45 ACP CCW. It feels good in the hand, and plenty powerful. The 9mm Glocks that I fired just seemed weak. They fit fine in the hand, but not what I wanted to feel as I squeezed off several rounds. My wife has fired the 45, and it is too much for her. I think she would be better off with the 9mm. Whatever gun you choose, PLEASE try it before you buy it. Nothing worse than buying the thing and finding out later that you hate it. It has served me well, and I recommend it. I am beginning to be tempted by the Glock 31, though. For a beginner gun - and I agree that there is no such thing - get a .22. Cheap ammo, great for practicing, and you can use it to teach your kids to shoot.
