Ron Paul News
Posted by Frank J. at 01:08 PM | View blog reactions | Comments (24)

I haven't bothered posting anything about Ron Paul in a while, but Ron Paul is always fun to talk about. Anyway, here is lolrons. Also, here's a story of someone getting his web host bothered at home because he left Ron Paul off a poll. Those Ronulans and their lack of common sense and social skills -- aren't they wacky? It's like they want everyone to despise them. I bet when they finally have some debates going without the Ron Paul sideshow, the Ronulans will try and interrupt it somehow. And then Fred Thompson will smite them. That will be entertaining TV.

Indeed. I saw these weirdlings in downtown Fort Worth last weekend. They were having a little protest of sorts.

Just make sure Fred's had his nap.

The fact that Americans actually consider Republicans conservatives these days just boggles my mind.

"It's like they want everyone to despise them."

Lol!.....and we do. ;)

A less-permissive society would put people like the Paulistinians in suspended cages, feeding them moldy bread and poking them with sticks.

Thankfully, Thompson will usher in that less-permissive society.

As the saying goes: "Lay down with troofers, get up 'thinking' and behaving like them."

Ron Paul = Moonbat velcro

#6 - Posted by: Bill Grant on September 7, 2007 02:31 PM

lol I agree, we should throw them all in gitmo

#7 - Posted by: Bill Moore on September 7, 2007 02:35 PM

Glad everyone is allowed to have an opinion. Thompson is a bad choice, though not the worst. That's Rudy's spot IMHO.

I'm not sure why everyone is so afraid of Ron Paul all of a sudden. His message is winning alot more support then many would like to admit. There's a fire there that hasn't been seen in the political arena since I was a kid (awhile ago).

Personally, I'm glad to be a Ron Paul supporter and I'm also glad to see much ado about nothing in belittling his supporters. It means his message is getting out and taking hold alot more then I thought.

[And yet you don't respond to how you all appear to be annoying weirdos without the slightest comprehension of why others look upon you as being so weird. We aren't threatened by Ron Paul; we don't even listen to him. All we here are is insane supporters and that's enough to keep us away. -Ed.]

Afraid, wouldn't be the word annoyed would be better. Paul courted the 9/11 truthers and black helicopter crowd and he got crazy dedicated "Paulistinians" as Jon put it. The reason they support him so fervently is they think the Illuminati or some other secret international cabal will kill them if he is not elected.

On the other hand, the genesis of the Ron Paul "movement" is from the hard-core Libertarians of the 80's and 90's. THAT movement was very philosophical and born of Ayn Rand's "Objectivism" of the 50's, 60's and 70's.

What I like about their "movement" is that they're helping steer the Republican Party (that they swore they'd never join) back to a conservative center and away from the Rockefeller dominance.

What I DON'T like about it is they're completely impractical on how to run government. A lot like the "getting from A to B" thing. They're quite inept. Example: Ron Paul's desire to eliminate the CIA in the debates. Ain't gonna happen, dude, and you're a complete nut job to suggest it. That alone destroyed your credibility with the rest of the party.

As a neocon co-conspirator, I welcome Ron Paul's accolades.

His affirmation of our subtle yet highly effective ulterior motive and hidden agenda towards global domination is like a welcome breath of fresh air!

...wait till he finds out about the neo-neocon movement for Galactic domination, oy! - he's liable to 'throw a few stones,' so to speak. heh.

#11 - Posted by: Saul Finklestein on September 7, 2007 03:16 PM

Saul, we're just trying to put right what went wrong with the Xenu Administration. We must hold the Galactic Federation together, stop the Thetans from spreading their nasty lies about Xenu and then update our Space Cruisers. DC-8's are so passe.

The Paulbot/Underpants Gnome plan for success:

Step 1. Spam internet polls.
Step 2. ?
Step 3. Profit! I mean, Ron Paul becomes President!

#14 - Posted by: Master Shake on September 7, 2007 04:58 PM

Maybe it's just me, but I noticed that the Paulines started to resemble LaRouchies and then I started to notice fewer and fewer LaRouchies. Does Ron Paul believe that Queen Elizabeth II is the head of the International Drug Trade and has a secret base on Mars?

#15 - Posted by: JorgXMcKie on September 8, 2007 12:16 AM

I hope after the debate the other evening Mr. Paul's nurse led him back to bed, gave him is seditive and strapped him in. The man is delusional.

If he really believes that we can pull in our borders and pretend the world doesn't exist he's either stupid or ignorant. Here's a clue, go back to the 1900's and read just how isolationism worked for not just us here in the states but for the whole world. Frankly I'm not ready for the "War to End All Wars" or it's sibbling the "last great War." We need to slap terrorish and the pigs they rode in on, down until they can't every get back up.

And Ron Paul is NOT the man to do it. I'm not sure we can come up with someone in any party that has the leadership, intelligence and intergrity to do it. (intergrity being the optimal word here)

I've looked in this thread and your "Ron Paul, Ron Paul, Ron Paul" link in the sidebar, but I don't see anything about why you don't like/disagree with him.

Honestly, go listen to Ronald Reagan's 1964 Goldwater speech and tell me if it doesn't sound an awful lot like what Ron Paul is saying:

http://millercenter.virginia.edu/scripps/digitalarchive/speechDetail/32

I paraphrase, "Government is the worst way to get something done." Paul is taking it to its conclusion, and by-the-way following what is in the constitution. It seems to me what is now called "old school republican" is not very different from what is called "Libertarian." Of course, libertarians want to go "all the way" and have no government at all, but that's not what Paul is talking about. As near as I can tell, he's saying a few things: 1) Lets try doing what is in the constitution, and 2) The global unilateral watchdog/policeman/invader thing isn't working, so lets try the opposite of that and see what happens. 3) Goverment is the worst way to get something done, so lets try the opposite of that.

It can probably be boiled down better than I have, but these seem very conservative, "old school" republican ideas to me.

What problem to you have with them?

#18 - Posted by: Mikesbo on September 9, 2007 06:45 PM

Ron Paul for Muffin!
After all he's already half way there!

#19 - Posted by: TheHat on September 10, 2007 09:25 AM

the paulbots, the larouchies, the naderites, the buchananites, the perotistas... they are all the same basic core group of people: the whacky fringe. they just glom on to whatever third party/independent/R or D kook is getting headlines that day. the one thing they all have in common is a core belief that the America we live in is somehow the cause of all our problems.

that, and they THINK they have an influence on elections by "spoiling" when in reality they have no effect because they would never have voted for an R or D in the general election anyway.

#20 - Posted by: Gullyborg on September 10, 2007 01:55 PM

Gullyborg,

You're still just calling them names. I was raised in the midwest, so I voted DFL until I came to my senses in the 90's (Willie had a lot to do with that), and although I'm not very proud of it now in hindsight (he sounded good at the time), I voted for W. I'm a republican, or rather, a conservative (the old-school kind).

I *like* what Ron Paul has to say, and I agree with him on almost everything (fiat money: nothing wrong with the Fed if they just did what they were supposed to, and since they don't, get rid of them, government: the worst way to do something, try free market capitalism instead, and so on) he has proposed.

You guys mention that the web polls *must* be rigged by his supporters (implying there are only a handfull), yet there are always a LOT of them at every political event, and he keeps winning straw polls. He has all this money from $200 contributions from individuals.

Occam's Razor: maybe there *are* a lot of Ron Paul supporters.

Children !!!

Didn't Ted Kennedy ACTUALLY Kill someone, Leave The Scene Of The Crime, and is still in Office?

You do not have to go to the ultimate end of Global Power To recognize Conspiracy!

Do Not Be So Comfortable In Your Dismissal Of Conspiracy. This is but one example; there are others should you care to educate yourself.

Other Questions:

Why was the NTSB not allowed to investigate any of the 9/11 Plane crashes. Even the one that landed in a Field. Every other incident has an NTSB document associated with it.

Why After over 5 years since 9/11 our boarders are more porous than ever. Did we not spend an amazing amount of money on homeland security and give up many of our Liberties.

Why is it that Referencing The Constitution is considered a Terrorist Action after 9/11.

With Knowledge Comes Sorrow.

Do not be so confident in your position that you would not at least entertain the Idea of Foul Play.

If you are so naive that you believe all people act out of benevolence then you truly will sacrifice your brethren to the wolves.

Country Before Party !!!

#22 - Posted by: on September 10, 2007 10:00 PM

OK, ":", that would perhaps be interesting, especially the porous "boarders" part (do they have holes in them?), if it was even remotely related to anything being discussed here.

#23 - Posted by: Mikesbo on September 11, 2007 12:33 AM

I smell fear in the hearts of every fake conservative there ever was. This is so fun to watch!

33% Ron wins the debate poll.

He takes in more money at a house party than Romney ever has.

He makes more money and gets more bodies at rallies than the GOP ever does, even when they exclude him, or I should say, especially when they exclude him.

What are you afraid of? Your little nanny state coming to an end?

Bwahhahahhaahh!
