john edwards fabulous.jpgJohn Edwards doesn't wear flannel shirts often, but when he does, they're usually knotted at the midriff.

With matching pedal pushers, of course.

Of course, within an hour he needs to switch back to his silk kimono, on account of the chafing.

YUP. He does that so everybody can admire the diamond stud in his belly button while he sings "The Lumberjack Song":

Edwards:

"I'm a lumberjack and I'm OK
I fuss all night and I preen all day.

Chorus:

He's a lumberjack and he's OK
He'll fuss all night and he'll preen all day.

Edwards:

I cut down trees, I strut and flounce
I like to press wild flowers.
I use a ladies' compact and troll the gayist bars.

Chorus:

He cuts down trees, he'll strut and flounce
He likes to press wild flowers.
He has a ladies' compact and trolls the gayist bars?!

Edwards:

I cut down trees, sport Prada pumps
Lace panties and a bra.
So glad I'm just a faggot, just like my dear Papa!!

Chorus:

He cuts down trees, sports Prada pumps?!
Lace panties...and a bra?!

Edwards:

So glad I'm just a faggot, just like my dear Papa!!

Lucky for him he has no chest hair, or those Band-Aids on his nipples would really hurt...

#4 - Posted by: bunkerboy on September 9, 2007 05:56 PM

Of course he wears matching Daisy Duke shorts...

#5 - Posted by: ussjimmycarter on September 9, 2007 07:11 PM

Did Jimmy Carter wear those too? (I don't know what "Daisy Duke shorts" are, ussjc! Help.)

Come on...Elizabeth is the butch in that relationship. Nancy-boy would never wear flannel. John Edwards would make Liberace seem macho.

If you look closely at the photos of his last outing in flanel, you can see a Cosmo article folded neatly in the pocket. It reads:
Dressing Down!
As Important As Dressing Up!
Slumming In Style!

The pedal-pushers Jimmy mentioned are pink. They also have a poodle embroidered on them.

Matching bobby-socks and saddle shoes too.

#9 - Posted by: Skul on September 10, 2007 04:55 PM

And hair pinned back with a pink bandanna, Skul, you are so right! Picture complete, Harvey. And oh so feminine.

Sounds like somethin' out of the 50's.
