I just recently learned that it was only this way because she'd cheat and put the "Queen Frostine" card on top, and always went first (she's 2 years older, what was I supposed to do? No normal adult can play a full game of Candyland with a child without going nuts if you don't cheat. It is pointless, but goes on FOREVER if you play it straight. I always had the plumly, princess lolly and queen frostine cards palmed along with at least one of each of the swamp colored cards at all times. I made sure I got the plumly and the girls got out of the swamp and one got the princess and the other the queen. Candyland is both the only game I have ever let them win and the only game I have ever cheated when playing always in their favor and always to just get it overwith. Post a comment
