Dude

The bidding for the smear letter against Rush Limbaugh has gone past $2 million with only a few hours to go. The money will all go to a charity for Marines (and I think Rush has vowed to match the contribution), so the Democrats' phony attempt to support the troops will end up actually supporting the troops. They're going to gnash their teeth and stomp their feet over that one.

Yup, Rush promised to match the final bid. It's an excellent cause, and an excellent "gotcha" by Rush.

Usually, to raise that amount of cash, you need a Hsu.

#2 - Posted by: TGWShark on October 19, 2007 11:03 AM

Rush has got 2+ million for the match? Whoa.

#3 - Posted by: Capitol Hillary on October 19, 2007 11:08 AM

Now THAT'S the way to do it. Loves me some Rush.

#4 - Posted by: Polly Esther on October 19, 2007 11:09 AM

Dem's love to talk about supporting the troops. Rep's do it. Good job Rush. I hope the Communist senators that signed the letter all match it also (Like that will happen)

#5 - Posted by: Dan M on October 19, 2007 11:23 AM

Yeah, and the tax write off will be great too. Man, I love sticking it to the Dems. Good for you Rush.

#6 - Posted by: ATC Guy on October 19, 2007 11:57 AM

Most Democrats are probably unaware, as they're so busy going to war with Turkey.

#7 - Posted by: Son of Bob on October 19, 2007 11:57 AM

Well, Rush challenged the Dems who signed it to match the bid, not that they will. Of course, if you take the Democrat approach, we can now accuse them of robbing the children of slain soldiers and law enforcement of $82 million, greedy bastichs. Hey, Harry, Hillary, it's all about the chiiiiiiiildren!

-Capitol Hillary

Rush just signed a new contract worth close to $400 million dollars. I'm pretty sure he could come up with 2mil.

#9 - Posted by: Ryan Frank on October 19, 2007 01:01 PM

Ryan, you are correct. On top of that, if you consider his investments, speaking engagements and endorsements he probably makes an additional 2M a month.

Hooray. Rush Limbaugh finally did something for the troops. It's about time. This guy is such a loser. Remember when he got booted off ESPN because he was such a loser? Remember when he got out of Vietnam because of a butt boil? He's a funny guy. The Dems busted him because he only likes conservative troops and hates all the liberal ones and tried to call them "phony troops" Now they forced him to do this eBay charity. It's a double win for the Democrats and a great benefit for the troops. Great success!! So funny. I laugh and laugh at the far right wing. They have really been flapping their arms around like idiots lately as their power shrinks.

#11 - Posted by: Sarcasm Man on October 19, 2007 03:23 PM

Well, of course he got that much. The shipping is free and the winning bidder gets $50.00 off if he signed up for an Ebay MasterCard! That's a bargain!

Sarcasm Man, I thought we got rid of you when I flushed the toilet this morning.

"They're going to gnash their teeth and stomp their feet over that one."

Unfortunately in typical dimocrap fashion, they are now trying to take credit for it. What a bunch of maroons.

Sarcasm Man believes his own bull snot. That's what is hilarious. "Great success! So funny!" *snark*
