Islamo-Fascism Awareness Week Gets Less Offensive Name
Posted by RightWingDuck at 11:53 AM | View blog reactions | Comments (14)

If you've been reading Michelle Malkin's blog then you know that David Horowitz has caused a stir because of his Islamo-Fascism Awareness Week.

ifa.jpg

IMAO has the latest news (take THAT Michelle Malkin) and is the first to report the RENAMING of the week to better appease liberal dogma.

(New poster below the fold)

We agree with the new name. The word fascism should be used in its proper context: When referring to anything regarding the Bush Administration.

Looks like that muslim lady is having the "Firearm of Understanding" applied to her thinking.

you gotta wonder, if these facists cover chicks up like that so the men don't feel so bad when they kill them? Kinda like popping off Empire Stormtroopers, no guilt because you can't see their eyes when they die?

THAT........IS.......SO.......WRONG.

Once again, though rarely, I find I have nothing funny to say.

In my day it was the NVA Colonel and the pistol shot.

I just wish This would become the image for This War,
Uggh.

This question once again raises it's ugly head.

Why are liberal demoncrats (especially women) defending these butchers? Do they think just because they look like men this will save them?

As for gays we already been informed "there are no gays in Iran." (at least live ones anyway)These two groups are truly the Queens of Denial.

I went to the web address on the poster, and I-FAW is actually a conservative protest according to their FAQ:

I'm still wondering if the whole idea is satire, because I wasn't aware that there were any conservatives left on college campuses. If it's real, bravo!

The women's soccer team in college had a slogan on their t-shirts that said "blood makes the grass grow." I don't think this is what they had in mind. I know for sure some of those women are in (and off the coast of) Iraq right now, working to prevent the spread of this type of thing.

Think also of the many pictures of US soldiers with smiling Iraqi children. It may be the only introduction to honorable men those children ever get.

Frank, I think you should go over and sign the patition with your "brand" of humor.
This is some funny stuff.

You people are all a bunch of closed minded idiots!
Islam is the religion of open-mindedness.

If you look at the picture, you can see where the bullet hits the ground after it opens the mind of that woman.

Or preferably, Fascism should only be used when refering to actual Fascists like myself, rather than a buzzword.

I think 'liberal' should by the new buzzword.

I think I saw the video that still shot (no pun intended) was excerpted from. I believe that was a Taliban thug executing a woman for wearing makeup or some similar infraction. Or maybe she just passed gas. Women, it seems, aren't allowed to do anything under Talibani rule...

I'm going to give the gunman the benefit of the doubt & say that perhaps he was a PeTA activist doing it for the sake of the animals, and he must've been certain the makeup she was wearing had been tested on camels. Oddly enough, he would not have shot the camel... at least not with an assault rifle, anyway.

In America, PeTA would laud him as a champion of animal rights. Liberals would love him... oh, that's right- they already do!

The photo used was an execution of a woman by her mother-in-law, not a man, for the crime of killing her abusive husband, which would be the executioners son. Get it.
Oh, and the scene of this classic was a stadium in Kabul, Afghanistan. You do remember that place, don't you? I realize that its hard for righties to keep it all straight: Afghanistan= Alquaeda-Talliban-Osama Bin Laden-no oil-9/11; Iraq= non-existent WMDs- oil- NOT 9/11. I can see how this is confusing, and, apparently, meant to be that way. You righties have always been firm believers of the KISS belief system. Somebody's got your number.

No Maya, Iraq=battle in 1991, ended by cease-fire, Hussein didn't live up to his agreement, Bush resumed fire in 2003. I suppose you would have been bitching in 1942 that Germany=NOT 12/7, why are we in North Africa.

#12 - Posted by: DSkinner on October 22, 2007 09:58 PM

DSkinner,

Don't waste your time. "maya" never heard of Kuwait. Of course, we remember the war started by Hussein, whereby Iraq invaded our allies Kuwait in 1990, torturing and killing thousands of men and raping thousands of women as they pillaged the peaceful country. But, the invasion of Kuwait isn't taught to "Progressives," as it's too hard to figure out a way to blame George W because he hadn't even run for president yet.

And, of course, "maya" was never told that while Hussein was "anexing" Kuwait as an Iraq province he claimed that Saudi Arabia was next...and so on.

And, "maya" is also completely unaware that among the reasons Husseing invaded those countries was to begin controlling all of the regions oil. But, surely "maya" still thinks it's Bush's War For Oil.

Oh, and "maya", thanks for standing up for the rights of that executioner. That battered wife surely deserved to be killed...you're so right.

Maya=wrong again & again & again & again &... A real Mayan wouldn't cry so much.

But, for the fun of it, exactly what women's rights, or even human rights, DID the taliban champion?

Please, PLEASE respond to this.
