Glenn Beck: America Haters Deserve Fire
Posted by RightWingDuck at 07:04 PM | View blog reactions | Comments (26)

I found this through a site called carpetbagger. (H/T to Salon) . According to this post, Glenn Beck says that those America Haters have now had their homes burned. Now, this might seem like an extreme view to some, but I have to say that Glenn and I see eye to eye on this.

I mean, if your viewpoint on this (or on anything) is different than mine, then the only proper punishment is to have your home burned along with all of your worldly possessions. It's probably one of the best ways to end any arguments. I find that people put up much less of a fight when they're sleeping out of a cardboard box.

Does anyone disagree with me on this one? (Ducky pulls out his lighter and starts taking note of the commenters' names.)

Excellent. As long as we're having a rational discussion, let's talk about the REAL reason those America haters, all half a million of them, have been pushed out of their homes while the fires get put down: They have angered the Oink the Pig God.

Sounds crazy, but they probably deserved it. Please look at this overhead shot, provided by ABC news.

ht_sat_image_071023_ssv.jpg

Do you not see it? Here, let me help with some outlining.

piggod.JPG

See? Evidence.

Let us be like Glenn. Let us NOT have compassion on people who are on the verge of losing everything they own. Their America Hating has angered Oink, the god of Pork.

I hope that my ample evidence has hardened your heart enough to keep you from caring. Remember, it's easy to think we're all in this together.

Now that is funny, just like Al said.

I'm thinking somehow Glenn Beck is being misquoted. The man is the definition of a nice guy.

#2 - Posted by: AR on October 23, 2007 07:30 PM

I'm genuinely interested in seeing someone poll Californians and find out which is a greater threat:

A) FIRE!
B) Global Warming

#3 - Posted by: Hawk07 on October 23, 2007 07:34 PM

AR,

I thought that too. Whenever you quote a Lefty organization, you run the risk of being wrong. But hey, this is IMAO.

Besides, this link and transcript seems legit. I listened to the audio clip.

http://mediamatters.org/items/200710220003?f=h_latest

More than likely he was talking about Malibu and the actors there. But he should have known that there are a BUNCH of people not able to go back to their homes.

#4 - Posted by: RightWingDuck on October 23, 2007 07:42 PM

Now, this made me laugh. I was thinking about posting something earlier today like: "What if California burns up - and then there's an 8.5 earthquake - and it's primary and electoral votes go away? Who wins? (Note: save the farms and the interstates for trans.)

And Orange County used to be SO Republican.

#5 - Posted by: Pinky on October 23, 2007 07:48 PM

Yeah Ducky. Hot Air (Allahpundit) have a good thread on it also. Taken totally out of context, but a poorly timed joke. Prayers go out to all those dealing with the evacuations and losses. You should hear the Koskids reactions. Talking about all the disasters happening in blue states and trying to figure out how to blame Bush. (even though most of the fires are in red counties) BDS overdrive

#6 - Posted by: Dan M on October 23, 2007 07:49 PM

In a while that pig's nose is gonna stretch into an elephant and some will say it's a sign from the Lord that the GOP is TEH EVILZ. Considering how global warming (which will somehow be tied to the fires if it hasn't already) is Bush's fault, it always surprises me that mother nature takes out her wrath on Lefties and minorities.

This is my home town, boys and girls. Stop by my blog, I've got some good links for the most recent fire maps. I hope Glenn Beck was kidding. He must have been, because I've never heard him be deliberately heartless.

#8 - Posted by: K T Cat on October 23, 2007 08:03 PM

Fast Fact: Glenn Beck hates American homeowners.

Fast Fact: Sarcasm Man just lost a piece of Cheesecake.

I don't think I fully explained how this works, I steal the cheesecake so completely you don't even realize you had cheesecake for me to steal. In this particular case it was drenched in dark chocolate and had fresh strawberries on it, Ron Paul himself made it for you, it tasted awesome.

#11 - Posted by: AR on October 23, 2007 08:52 PM

Right on, Ducky (and Glenn)! By the way, you will all be glad to know that about 2 hours ago I was driving back from the grocery store along the beach and the waves are really kicking! I saw a group of surfers out there, completely oblivious to the ash raining down on their heads. The sunset last night was spectacular! I think I'll crank up the barbecue tonight. I could go for some burgers and beer. (Now please put down the matches, ok?)

#12 - Posted by: cknight on October 23, 2007 09:08 PM

Are you seriously quoting "Media Matters"? Of course the story is not only out of context, but wrong.

Glenn Beck would never wish that on anyone.

And, neither would I. I'd much prefer select cities would simply fall into the ocean...starting with Hollywood and San Francisco, quickly followed by LA.

#13 - Posted by: Son of Bob on October 23, 2007 09:29 PM

Glenn was taken grossly out of context.

Big surprise.

#14 - Posted by: PaleoMedic on October 23, 2007 11:14 PM

Aren't most of the celebs and "movers and shakers" in tinseltown closet muslims? Perhaps their inate fear of PORK has finally bitten them?

And maybe Congress will be next. The PORK GOD will reek revenge on the ones voting for "pork".

Xcuse me, I gotta go eat my BLT.

#15 - Posted by: Fiftycal on October 23, 2007 11:21 PM

BTW, isn't it curious that where the pigs snout is aimed looks like an asshole? Maybe he's going to lick it before he PORKS it?

Any one feel a mag 10 earthquake coming on?

#16 - Posted by: fiftycal on October 23, 2007 11:24 PM

Aren't these the saem folks that promised to leavethe cuntry if W was elected in '04?

Can't we just consider this a helping hand?

think of the nifty villas and chateaus they can build in France with all those insurance dollars...

#17 - Posted by: WyoScotch on October 24, 2007 07:56 AM

I would like to agree with your evaluation of the situation, but as some one that spent Sunday last evacuating family members from Canyon Country, I can not. If the fire had stayed in Malibu, you wolud have a pretty strong arguement, but Canyon Country and Orange County are conservative. Our representitive is named Buck McKeon for god's sake. How can we get more conservative than "Buck"?

#18 - Posted by: On fire on October 24, 2007 10:05 AM

A couple people have mentioned this already, but this might be far more accurate if the areas that were burning were monkey-faced liberals. Unfortunately, the areas that are burning are some of the most conservative in the nation.

#19 - Posted by: smitty on October 24, 2007 11:16 AM

He must've been joking, though I haven't had the chance to listen to Glenn the last few days. I made it back to SD last night when the I-5 opened; staying at the Rock Church. Absolutely wonderful people. Still don't know if my place is standing.

Need to give major kudos and thanks to the Palm Desert Chamber of Commerce. I stopped there to look for directions to someplace with internet access. They gave me that, plus contact info for the Red Cross and forty bucks.

If there's still anyone stuck in the Palm Desert/Palm Springs area trying to get back (there were about a dozen or so of us) there is plenty of room at the Rock Church off of Rosecrans if you want to get back to SD. Good local fire info for SD county at www.cbs8.com. Good luck folks.

#20 - Posted by: Suihei Deloi on October 24, 2007 02:03 PM

I have to know, where was Dick Cheney at the time that the fires were set? He has to be the first person we blame of course. He always is! I heard he did it for the kittens blood and the tears of the rich.(mmmm so yummy)
I cannot fathom that Glenn Beck would say that, Katie Couric maybe.....

#21 - Posted by: Backofdabunny on October 24, 2007 05:15 PM

Judging by his horrible aim, I assume he set the fires with his flaming hell-urine. If his aim was any good, he would have taken out the real America-Haters in Hollyweird. As it is, Camp Pendleton is burning, ans MCAS Miramar evacuated non-essential aircraft. Damn your tasty pig god and his smelly fire splatter!

#22 - Posted by: HCG on October 25, 2007 12:26 AM

Although it sounds real and the photo proves it I don't beleive in your supposition about the god of Pork. It was probably weather conditions that influenced the fire.

#23 - Posted by: Karen on October 25, 2007 02:09 AM

Yeah, San Diego and Santa Clarita are both solidly conservative. It's Los Angeles and San Francisco that are the problems. If you don't believe it, check the voting stats. If you take away only the three most liberal counties (out of 50+), California would be a strong Republican state. Unfortunately those counties have most of the people. But one of the hazards of being a Californian is that many people lump all of us together. I can't blame them, considering some of the outrageous stuff that comes out of the state.

Manbearpig may lump us all together too.

#24 - Posted by: Evan on October 25, 2007 11:20 PM

Glenn did not actually say they deserve it. He was talking about the liberals who have spent years saying that managed burns do not work and that cleaning under brush was not in natures best interest, of course they are wrong. He said those people deserve to loose everything.

Glenn does satire!!! He is sooo god at it the liberal media takes him at just face value.

I love Glenn's shows. Only libs do not get his humor. Listen to him...you will understand his jokes.

BTW,,,,many of the stuff from this blog ends up on Glenn's forum.....and he loves the Fred Facts!!!
