Just to Clarify...
Posted by Frank J. at 04:52 PM | View blog reactions | Comments (21)

I know I seem really pro-Fred Thompson here, but I just want it to be known that in the end I'll support whoever is the Republican nominee... unless its Ron Paul. In that case, I'm going to seek out Morpheus so I can take the red pill.

Cause if you take the Blue Pill, Ron Paul will show you just how deep the rabbit hole goes.

Frank, I think you just like the attention you're getting from the delusional Ron Paul fans...

#2 - Posted by: inquisitivechaos on November 9, 2007 05:09 PM

Yeah, Clay, like the rabbit hole leads to the depths of Hillary Clinton?

#3 - Posted by: Jimmy on November 9, 2007 05:22 PM

Ron Paul gave me the site over in the other thread. Please give me the keys and vacate the premises. You wouldn't want to be called unconstitutional, would you?

(I know I seem really pro-Fred Thompson here, but I just want it to be known that in the end I'll support whoever is the Republican nominee... unless its Ron Paul. )

I was going to ask this question in the other comment section with RP,RP,RP but here works better. I suggested I wouldn't vote for Rudy if he was the nominee back when Dobson or someone said the same. Of course, people said that would be the same as voting for Hillary. My question is - If the impossible happened and Ron Paul actually won the nomination, would you vote for him or someone else?

[That's like asking whether I'd vote for a cave troll or Hillary. The scenario is never going to happen and isn't very instructive.

But I'd vote for the cave troll. -Ed.]

Thank you for your support, Frank. Together, we can take back this country from both the humans and the Democrats.

Please consider making a donation to my campaign, and in return I will send you a personally-autographed stalactite.

Cave trolls understand that the world is governed by the aggressive use of force, and could give a fig about global warming. You may be on to something.

...but if you're really concerned about what to do in the spine-chilling case that RP is nominated:

Write me in. (US Citizen, over 35 y.o., over 14 years residency in the U.S., and I believe in G-d, the Constitution, American exceptionalism, and vetoing every spending bill that doesn't require bureaucrats to fight for funding in a coliseum filled with rabid hyenas.)

Me too FrankJ.

#5: That's it exactly. It would be the social conservatives staying home that would give us President Thighness. Thank God for Pat Robertson endorsing Rudy.

A Thompson-Rudy (or Rudy-Thompson) ticket would be unbeatable. And just plain FUN! if it was a landslide against HRT. Mondale '84 anyone? 8-)

Cave Troll will crush McBain as he will crush all others who oppose him - with big rock from cave!

But if McBain wishes to be part of the solution AND NOT CRUSHED WITH BIG ROCK!, please consider making a donation to my campaign, and in return I will send you a personally-autographed stalactite.

McBain, You have my vote. Now if we could get more politicians to see it that way. Would you please pick cave troll for vp?

Never thought I'd say this, but I actually trust Hillary Clinton over Ron Paul when it comes to foreign policy.

#11 - Posted by: on November 9, 2007 07:03 PM

Cave Troll foreign policy is to crush all enemies with big rock. Hillary Clinton and Ron Paul are enemies of Cave Troll. If you, too, want Democrats and other terrorists crushed with big rock, vote Cave Troll in 2008.

#12 - Posted by: Cave Troll 2008 on November 9, 2007 08:22 PM

Hmm, RP vs. Hillary!

Actually, that's easy. Even a corrupt, old communist nag like Old Crusty Pants is more conservative, fiscally sane and patriotic than RP. Hillary! is only another Jimmy Carter so we'd recover in a few decades at worst. RP, on the other hand, is pretty much total surrender to the Apocalypse (aka Islamonuts) and extinction for humanity (which is what you get when smelly old bearded men who worship death and a meteorite takeover).

Is Ross Perot still alive? I would love to see a debate between Ron and Ross.

Are you this McBain?

Then it's a landslide!

LOL. Look at FJ backpedal from his weak candidate. Even Fred doesn't think he will. What a hilarious joke of a pick and all over your website too. Frank J = worst political analyst evah. Everyone knows my picks will be right -> Goolidorkiani vs. Hillary with Hillary winning and Frank's pathetic pick will be wrong. Some much hilarity there is here. How great is this?

#17 - Posted by: Sarcasm Man on November 10, 2007 01:49 PM

McBain's got my vote, should Fred not get the nomination.

#18 - Posted by: carolynp on November 10, 2007 03:00 PM

After the election, Sarcasm Man will go back to writing bad children's books.

#19 - Posted by: Jimmy on November 10, 2007 03:49 PM

#15- Similar, but less creepy looking than Walken, and without Ranier Wolfcastle's accent.

Cave Troll- you might prefer to be Veep- you'd get to live in either Cheney's "undisclosed location," which is probably underground, or the Naval Observatory, which sounds a place where like they keep the lights off, at least...

#20 - Posted by: McBain on November 11, 2007 01:30 PM

Glad to hear you won't try to launch a Thompson third party campaign. That would just be dumb, and I'm sure Fred would rather chase his wife's 40-year-old ass than THAT mirage. So start working on those Giuliani Gems, or Right On Rudyisms, or Daily Duce Decrees, or...
