Oh Noes!!11!!
Posted by Frank J. at 05:12 PM | View blog reactions | Comments (34)

Now Ron Paul has no chance of being elected president. What's next? Someone finding a scandal about Kucinich and ruining his chances too?

34 Responses To "Oh Noes!!11!!"

Quick! Let's think up some ridiculous bit of gossip about Kucinich and spread it around the internet!

Like, say, he saw a UFO and it changed his life.

Ok, how about he's such a wimp on foreign policy, he wouldn't have invaded Afghanistan after 9/11?

Umn, er, ah, ok...

Well, there has to be something out there, right?

Right?

I found this on the internet: TNR has a long and checkered history of pro-fascism, pro-communism, and pro-new dealism. Founded to promote the rotten progessive movement of militarism, central banking, income taxation, centralization, and regulation of business, it naturally hates and fears the Ron Paul Revolution. The mag is also famous for having published a slew of entirely made-up articles by Stephen Glass, which it passed off as non-fiction. Through the 1950s it was an important magazine, of sigificant if baleful influence, but it long ago declined in circulation and significance, like all DC deadtree ops. Long close to Beltway libertarians, for whom its politically correct left-neoconism is fine and dandy, TNR once published a cover story literally comparing Ross Perot to Adolf Hitler when he was running for president. That is the publication's style--hysterical smears aimed at political enemies.

#2 - Posted by: Replikov on January 8, 2008 05:31 PM

Oh no! TNR isn't trustworthy! OMG, all of us interweb people didn't know that!

#3 - Posted by: AR on January 8, 2008 05:52 PM

What I find even more shocking than these newsletters (which Ron Paul HAS ADMITTED TO PUBLISHING so lay off the "smear piece" crack pipe) is the way his supporters are defending him. What a world.

#4 - Posted by: bgrx on January 8, 2008 06:09 PM

And yet, Ron Paul, the Saviour of the West, hasn't denied any of it!

Oh Truther trolls where are you? Where's the smugness... unless you leftards in disguise knew it all along after all & that's why you liked him. You are the bigots & liars we knew you were all along.

#5 - Posted by: AlanABQ on January 8, 2008 06:22 PM

Dr. Paul isn't to blame! His blimp sprung a leak, and he was loopy from helium exposure! Nothing to see here, people!

#6 - Posted by: Master Shake on January 8, 2008 06:26 PM

ExUrbanKevin -

Or we can spread the rumor that he drove a couple of hundred thousand people out of Cleveland by driving out the jobs to support them.

Uh . . . I guess that won't work either.

#7 - Posted by: Silicon Valley Jim on January 8, 2008 06:29 PM

With all the sites this story has to be on by now, it's a good thing Dr. Paul has an infinite number of monkeys supporting him. The Paulestinians will probably be here in 3...2...1...

#8 - Posted by: Master Shake on January 8, 2008 06:31 PM

Of course Ron Paul denied it. A simple search and you would have found it. Fredheads like Alan's Redneck BBQ Stand are so freaking stupid they don't even know how to search the web. Paul will be in this race a lot longer than Fred will and you know it too bozo.

Fred Thompson dreams he had a money counter ticking over like the one on Ron Paul's site: http://www.ronpaul2008.com

#9 - Posted by: PaulisKewl on January 8, 2008 06:41 PM

LOL, PK!!!

Yeah, his money counter contributions from Stormfront racists like yourself are going to just slide by the minority populace when they justrealize what an upfront guy Mrs. Paul truly is...

Face it, ya li'l bitch; you're done. There won't be a President Paul in '08. Not in '12, '16 or '20.

Congrats, Paulettes. You have achieved FAIL.

#10 - Posted by: AlanABQ on January 8, 2008 07:00 PM

I hope the Paulettes keep coming. They are amusing holding on to their false god as he slowly sinks into oblivion. Not that he ever WASN'T sinking before... it's just a little faster now.

#11 - Posted by: Rubeus on January 8, 2008 08:04 PM

I love how the Paulbot came right after Master Shake's countdown.

Paulbot Bait: Paul is dumb. More than dumb, he's worse than Clinton, Huckabee, and Kucinich. It's a good thing America is smarter than to vote for a moron like Paul.

#12 - Posted by: Joel on January 8, 2008 08:10 PM

Do I know my infinite-number-of monkey behavior, or what?

That's the measure of a man? His site counter? A chimpanzee on crack could put a counter on his site (PimpyMcChimpy.com?). ZOMG1! WE HAS COUNTERS! WE'S PWNS J00!11!

Ron Paul wrote those articles or he didn't. HONEST people write their own stuff and take responsibility for it. Who the hell would have a ghost write make an article for them? So, he wrote the articles and is a slimeball or he's a quivering little shite that is only a mouthpiece.

BTW -I think James Kirchick (in the video) needs to go to a doctor. His face looks really puffy. I mean, I don't know the guy, but someone should point it out to him. :-(

#14 - Posted by: ochagirl on January 8, 2008 08:42 PM

A chimpanzee on crack could put a counter on his site

That counter tracks actual money coming into Ron Paul's campaign. You probably don't get it because your candidate does not know how to raise money. No one can raise money like Ron Paul. No one! Every time Fred Thompson raises $1.00 Ron Paul raises like another million bucks!

#15 - Posted by: PaulisKewl on January 8, 2008 09:19 PM

Yeah, but Dr. Paul's donations are in the form of extracted gold fillings and human skin lampshades.

?? These are Internet credit card donations. What's wrong with you. Are you some kind of loser? Sure seems like it.

#18 - Posted by: PaulisKewl on January 8, 2008 09:51 PM

If you're too much of a loser to understand the reference, please continue supporting Ron Paul for President and Saviour of the Infinite Multiverse. Or Kucinich - he should be sufficiently irrational for you, as well.

#19 - Posted by: Master Shake on January 8, 2008 10:11 PM

Hey PaulisKewl. You ain't.

#20 - Posted by: Jimmys on January 8, 2008 10:11 PM

A paulbot lives down the street from me. After this (expected) drubbing, he will probably double the tinfoil hat thickness. Just when we all got used to the current one.

#21 - Posted by: crazyjetguy on January 8, 2008 10:13 PM

I think you folks are just angry because Fred Thompson suffered an incredibly humiliating defeat today. I'm so sorry that happened. You guys should have tried more web promotion.

#22 - Posted by: PaulisKewl on January 8, 2008 10:17 PM

Yea, so far that strategy has come off flawlessly...

#23 - Posted by: crazyjetguy on January 8, 2008 10:26 PM

You guys should have tried more web promotion.

Or a blimp. Blimps are "kewl".

"Kewl" means the same thing as "ludicrous", right?

#24 - Posted by: Master Shake on January 8, 2008 10:33 PM

Or a blimp. Blimps are "kewl".

Yes, you guys should get a Fred Thompson blimp. I would laugh if a blimp went overhead that said "Punch the Hippies." I think that we can both agree that would be kewl.

#25 - Posted by: PaulisKewl on January 8, 2008 10:58 PM

Yet, while Ron Paul is rolling dough . . . he can't make it among the top three candidates? I don't care about how much frakkin' money a person rakes it; even if he's able to stay in the race till the end doesn't mean he'll win. The will of the people still is all that matters.

I'll vote for the person who speaks honestly, doesn't spout empty promises, has common sense, and won't rush to judgment. He/she shouldn't be talking nonstop, and when he or she speaks, the conversation should what he or she will do and how they will do it.

#26 - Posted by: ochagirl on January 8, 2008 11:20 PM

PaulsCrewel is one of those who wants you to vote for Paul based on his record....no, not that part of his record, the other part....no, not that part either....I'm sure the good part is around here somewhere.....hey, that's a blasphemous smear job to quote the man in his own words....

The Kucinich campaign ending scandal is that he appeared on Fox News and Hannity's radio show. Bizarrely, he sounds more rational than Paul Ron Hubbard.

#27 - Posted by: Robert on January 9, 2008 12:56 AM

Gee, I wish I had a bunch of white supremacists giving me money. Hell, I'd accept money from The NOI, if it meant a better living.

I love the assertion I've been reading elsewhere that Paul didn't know those things were being written by him, about him, on his behalf, or that he was in fact totally oblivious to it all- since at least 1992- and yet he met with Stormfront's Spewmeister Don Black & his odd looking son just last September, if not since then.

PiK, is your name Don, Jr. by chance?

Just to clarify something for you, li'l bitch; Fred may not get the nod from the GOP. He might not get elected this term. But don't delude yourself any longer. Money seems to be a big issue with you 'tards, and that makes it even more laughable; Malcolm Forbes & Ross Perot had nearly unlimited access to it. For that matter, John Edwards has plenty, too. It's an easy task for a wealthy candidate to find a way to fund his or her own campaign, but it takes more than money. You need at least a little substance, sooo... there's no way that Robble Paul will ever get nominated, no matter how much money he gleans from the less intelligent. This isn't a new development, either- he didn't stand a chance from the start, and with the "Ron Speaks" publication or whatever it was, well...

That just seals it.

He's a not-so-closeted racist, which just reaffirms the notion that true conservative Republicans have that most of his supporters are liberals who want a division by faking belief in conservative value while secretly cheering the racism, deep-seated empathy for back-woods militias & antisemitism that are the secret hallmarks of his career. What's next for his platform, phrenology?
Trust me, there's been more than a few people who have noticed the conspicuous lack of minorities among you at the rallies, social disruptions & web site photos of hard-core followers. Not one single minority group, special-interest though they are, got behind him.

But whatever... you can keep up the invective baiting & jeering all you want; we love that were important enough for you to keep trying. We know that at the end of the day, it's back to the basements, attics, dank bedrooms & online roll-playing games for you, where you actually have a chance to win at something.

#28 - Posted by: AlanABQ on January 9, 2008 01:22 AM

Who talks like that except the Princess of Druidia.

Hey now, that was uncalled for, Alan. I have yet to see a single Paulestinian in any of the games I'm on. Probably to difficult for them to figure out how to work.

#30 - Posted by: Basilisk on January 9, 2008 10:28 AM

Ron
Pauls stormfront gold filling human skin lampshade nazi paraphernalia max out your stolen credit card sell all your furniture lemonaid stand donation

But seriously he is a racist. Stop living in denial. Your Führer has betrayed you. You better leave get going now, the odessa trail isnt going to travel itself you know....

#31 - Posted by: on January 9, 2008 10:43 AM

AlanBBQ basically stole my thunder already. As I would say, no amount of money can cover up his poor stance on issues such as foreign policy. It especially means less, now that alternative media and the blogosphere do a much better job than the old school media. "Rathergate" is a prime example. That blimp is freakin sweet, though.

#32 - Posted by: ChrisA on January 9, 2008 12:53 PM

Yeah, that blimp was kinda cool. The coolest thing about it being a L. Ron Paul balloon was it's symbolic similarities to his campaign:

Bloated with gas, slow, archaic as a mode of transport, easily deflated, going whichever way the wind blows, small contingency operation, hopeless against other aircraft...

Yup. If that doesn't say "Ron Paul '08", nothing does.

#33 - Posted by: AlanABQ on January 9, 2008 01:37 PM
