When will Huckabee drop out and admit he's the weaker RINO? What evil will Hillary implement in her desperation? Speculate!

...or write trollish non sequiturs if you're a troll. Whatever you do, have fun!

Hillary will pull off her mask to reveal that she is the Predator, and fierce shriek, she will impale Obama with her extend-o spike. Then Fred Thompson will come down from Mt. Sinai and fracture her skull with the New Ten Commandments.

And in case nobody noticed...

"Imad Mughniyeh, the suspected mastermind of dramatic attacks on the U.S. Embassy and U.S. Marine barracks that killed hundreds of Americans in Lebanon in the 1980s, has died in a car bomb in Syria, Iranian state media and a Syrian rights group said Wednesday."

Dare we hope that one of our allies is engaging in state-sponsored assassination? Or (gasp) maybe it was US?! Bush may have a spine after all...

I've decided to run for President. Here's my theory: third party candidates don't get elected because Dems and Republicans worry that they are throwing their vote away, giving an advantage to the other party. I've decided to start the "Time Out Party" that has the only goal of vetoing every piece of legislation. This will lock up the House and Senate so they can't spend your money, but it will do it to both parties. It is truly a neutral approach. It is a way for members of both parties to vote "None of the above, come back in 4 years with something better" without giving up their deeply held political convictions. It will also put the legislature on notice that we aren't going to take the wasteful spending, bickering and misplaced priorities of the current establishment.

From Yahoo!

"There's a great saying in Texas, all hat and no cattle," [the Hildebeest] told a boisterous crowd of about 12,000 at a college basketball arena in El Paso Tuesday evening as the shape of the latest Obama ballot victories were unfolding. "Well, after seven years of George Bush, we need a lot less hat and lot more cattle."

I think that you can all complete the cattle jokes yourselves, right?

#4 - Posted by: Silicon Valley Jim on February 13, 2008 10:56 AM

I'm pretty mad about all the growth hormone they put inside cows these days. It is probably the reason why kids reaching puberty at early age like six to eight. You can't get milk without cow growth hormone in it unless you buy organic which costs more money. Cow milk isn't really for people anyway. It's only meant for baby cows. Yet the big food companies make commericials acting like if we don't have the milk we will get sick and die.

When will Huck drop out?

After McCain extends him the invitation to be VP. IMAO Huck see's this as his only real chance to be president. He is probably betting that McCain wont survive a full term due to health issues. And I agree with that bet. I think the stress and operational tempo of the job will kill McCain.

As for Hillary, she's hurtin for sure. Her deputy campaign manager just resigned. Her only option is to go after Obama on his non-existant policies. Only real problem is that aids the opposition, and exposes her to the traditional knee-jerk response that her party members take whenever pointing out anything negative about a "minority." In short ... she's screwed. Look for Hillary to begin "crying" alot....

Oh and just to please the masses (and meet my compulsive daily troll requirement) let me add...

RON PAUL, RON PAUL, RON PAUL

and of course SUCK IT, SUCK IT.

It is my hope that the immediate proceeding will actually act as a troll deterent in that I have effectively already covered the substantive parts of thier normal contributions. (Now if I could just figure out what the "it" is in the Suck it statement)......

#6 - Posted by: TerribleTroy on February 13, 2008 11:20 AM

Bill and Hillary have already signed the "contract" with the same people that they used in Arkansas and for Ron Brown & Vince Foster. Hillary is now practicing her getting choked up routine when the news breaks that something happened to "The Magic Negro"... We will then be treated to Hillary and Bill eulogizing Barack on the campaign trail and talking about how they will carry on his legacy if elected...

#7 - Posted by: ussjimmycarter on February 13, 2008 11:20 AM

Hillary will wait until Zero Hour and then activate her Thanatos Device, to ensure the end of mankind.

She will not be thwarted so easily.

Only Vice President Cheny can stop her now.

#8 - Posted by: Ringmaster on February 13, 2008 11:24 AM

Hillary has also planted a story with the NY Times that John McCain is a latent Homosexual and that he is a raging Pedaphile. The Times can't run with it now, of course, because there's too much time to react and discount the story so they intend to break the story on August 31st of this year. On November 4th of 2008 Hillary will also accuse John McCain of sexually assaulting her in the Senate cloakroom...which the public will buy since they will believe that McCain is a Homosexual...

#9 - Posted by: ussjimmycarter on February 13, 2008 11:25 AM

Does this mean that Obama gets to be VP? If it does will Bill make him stand in font of the white house dressed as a jockey?

#10 - Posted by: zip on February 13, 2008 11:25 AM

Nate , what fuckin' planet did you just beam down from?

Hillary has a picture of the Obama family hanging in her office and I just heard her say on the radio (Laura Ingraham) that she looks at it every day. Wow, it must be partially burned through already from those hot stares. I've decided to temporarily defer my Obama hatred in favor of enjoying the spectacle of Hillary's demise. It might be the only thing worth enjoying this election year.

STOP THE OBSCENE PROFITS OF BIG MILK! KILL THE COWS AND EAT STEAK, INSTEAD!

#14 - Posted by: Nate on February 13, 2008 11:40 AM

I have a feeling McCain will get the nomination, along with Obama. Huckabee will drop out probably in a month or so. McCain will pick someone more conservative, like DeMint.

#15 - Posted by: Michael R. on February 13, 2008 11:42 AM

Milk was invented by capitalist pigs (cows?) and/or filthy Mormons to oppress the workers! BIGOTS!

#16 - Posted by: JoeB131 on February 13, 2008 11:44 AM

Huckabee has said that it sure would be a waste for him to drop out and for McCain to have nothing left to do but watch the battle for the democratic nomination. Basically, he just wants to keep McCain from getting bored... what a nice (read: annoying) guy...

I figure at some point it will be revealed that, when Obama and Hillary put their magic rings together, they become MINORITRON! Magical defender of minorities everywhere! Sorry.. uncalled for... but I did think it was funny that in these last primaries, Obama got the majority of the women's vote, instead of Hillary.

Nate: Um, you don't think that, perhaps, organic dairy farms have an incentive to make money as well? And that perhaps they may make my growth hormone mutated milk look bad on purpose? Hmmm...

TerribleTroy: I don't think there is any way to stop the trolls, but I'll help out too...

RON PAUL!! RON PAUL!! PON RAUL!!!!!!11!

Oh that goofy, charismatic Obama.

"We need to unite this country around a common purpose, a higher purpose."

What is this common and higher purpose, exactly? What? Hope? Hope! That's what I want, the government to give me hope. I want the government to reach down and give me a hug when I'm feeling down and give me audacity to hope for change. Change for what? Socialism? Communism? That's totally a change from what the founding fathers intended. Ooh, how audacious.

"We need to end the mindset that got us unto the war."

Oh, what, like national security? Mmkay.

'9/11 is just a scare tactic being used by Republicans. There's no *real* threat. Everyone just hates Bush is all. When I'm president, everyone will see my smiling happy face and be nice to us again!

Yes we can!!'

Your hormone and cows milk theories are straight out of the moonbat bible.

What? Most all of our cows (except organic farms) are injected with bovine growth hormone. The United States is the only country that allows this. It's a well known fact. Some nutritionists like Dr. Weil think milk might be harmful to people (and not even because of the growth hormone). Other experts think milk is fine but hardly any thinks milk is good for you anymore - that's just advertising brain washing people. It's a controversy. It's not a liberal moonbat thing though. Milk is for baby cows not for people.

Awesome Dr. Weil
==================
The notion that milk is good for all of us throughout life has been fostered by the dairy industry. Except for people of northern European origin, most adults worldwide can't digest lactose, the natural sugar in milk. This is because as we mature, our bodies stop making the enzyme that breaks it down. As a result, many may develop gas, cramps and/or diarrhea whenever milk is consumed.

But lactose intolerance isn't the only problem with milk and milk products. The milk protein, casein, can irritate the immune system and stimulate mucus production, worsening allergy symptoms. This is why milk consumption is associated with recurrent childhood ear infections, eczema, chronic bronchitis, asthma, and sinus conditions. Even those who are not allergic to milk, like people who have autoimmune diseases or digestive problems, may find that their symptoms improve when they eliminate milk and milk products.

Hillary will entrap Obama in Carbonite and sell him to the Hutt. Obama will be rescued by John Edwards in a metal bikini and a large furry beast that will resemble Ted Kennedy but more coherent. After fighting desperately against long odds, the Kos Kids will join the Alliance as Ewoks and doom the left-wingers because the Rethuglicans own Diebold which owns the elections. Ron Paul will be assassinated by Cheney while hunting quail and the Death Star will finally blow up the moon.

Everybody wins!

I think SUCK ON HUCK needs to be more specific. Is that "suck on" (as in onward Christian soldiers because Huckabee sucks)? Or is it "create a negative gauge pressure on some Huckabee body part" because Huckabee is so good?

Frank, you gotta stop saying things like "...or write trollish non sequiturs if you're a troll."

#26 - Posted by: Jimmy on February 13, 2008 12:30 PM

Pssssst Nate-

Hate to break this to you, but your organic milk contains BGH. BGH is also made by cows naturally.

Also you realize that while Weil is considered a Guru by hippies and the organic movement, he is generally considered to be a hack by actual scientists who insist on silly little things like data and controlled studies.

#27 - Posted by: Brian The Adequate on February 13, 2008 12:31 PM

Hate to break this to you, but your organic milk contains BGH. BGH is also made by cows naturally.

It is but they are injecting lots extra of it into beef. They also inject hormones and antibiotics into beef and chickens which we end up consuming. Why do you think kids are reaching puberty so early - it is probably because of this or maybe the dangerous High Fructose Corn Syrup that is in almost all of our foods. HFCS probably also causes diabetes and obesity.

Also you realize that while Weil is considered a Guru by hippies and the organic movement, he is generally considered to be a hack by actual scientists who insist on silly little things like data and controlled studies.

I thought hippies were dirty. People eating organic just trying to be extra healthy. Many republicans eat organic. I like Dr. Weil very much. He is not silly to me. He is no hack. He is one smart fella.

#28 - Posted by: Nate on February 13, 2008 12:37 PM

Clearly, we need congressional hearings to investigate the use of growth hormones on these cattle.

#29 - Posted by: Roger Cowmens on February 13, 2008 12:42 PM

Today, IMAO seems to have been reduced to discussions of hormones and sucking. Last night, all the bridges in the US were gorged with homeless veterans and it's our fault. To sum up: our main problem is homeless, hormone-deficient veterans under bridges sucking on milk while hating evil Republicans.

Why do you think kids are reaching puberty so early #28 - Posted by: Nate on February 13, 2008 12:37 PM

It's gotta be the milk.
I mean, it couldn't be the environment or the overuse of electronics. It couldn't possibly correlate to the fact that kids are more overweight than their parents. It's not possible that they may be hitting puberty earlier because of the myriad of other things we come into contact with every day more often than we used to. You know, kids use Fluoride more than they use to as well. That could be it.
But no, it's gotta be the milk.

Although, I'm not sure why I am arguing with you. It's pretty much a waste of all of our time.
Crawl back into your crazy hole if you have nothing better to talk about than HGH in our milk on a political blog.

#34 - Posted by: MJ on February 13, 2008 01:10 PM

Why do you think kids are reaching puberty so early

It is not BGH because as you stated yourself, only in the US are they used and the early puberty trend is in Europe as well as the US.

The most likely explanation is the great abundance of food. When there is more food, it makes evolutionary sense for the breeding to start early.

A secondary factor may be the breakdown of the family structure as there is fairly good evidence that female child that cohabitates with an unrelated adult male (step father, Mom's live in boyfriend(s)) tend to start puberty sooner as well.

Anyhoo Nate, was your posting on Milk an admission that you are nothing but a non sequitor posting troll, or can you explain how Milk relates to the topic of when Huckmeister is gonna bow to the reality that he lost?

#35 - Posted by: on February 13, 2008 01:15 PM

The Democratic Primaries last night did not show how much those in the mid-Atlantic states love Obama. They showed how much they hate Hillary.

(I know this post is off topic from the comment thread. Just wanted a place to make the point.)

#36 - Posted by: Clint on February 13, 2008 01:16 PM

Sorry MJ. Silicon Valley Jim's comment got me thinking about cows. Maybe you are right that things like laptops are making kids hit puberty earlier.

#37 - Posted by: Nate on February 13, 2008 01:18 PM

I think Huckabee won't bow out until about February of 2010. Then he'll probably go shack up with Ron Paul and they will plot about bringing down the IRS (while they make sweaty, chubby, dwarfish, wrinkled love). Okay, I am seriously sorry about the mental image. I’ll stop now, seriously. That was uncalled for. Again, so sorry.

BONUS:

A hint to parents everywhere – If you don’t want your kids to get manhandled by cops, why don’t you take a couple minutes and teach them to obey the law and respect authority, and maybe teach them that there are times to shut their pieholes. If you haven’t seen the news today, to summarize; Baltimore Cop, skater punk, dude. Please refer to your favorite news outlet.

#38 - Posted by: juggernaut on February 13, 2008 02:02 PM

So, basically Nate is saying that milk is pure evil? What about chocolate milk? Is it still fully evil or is it's evility moderated by being a more politically correct color?

And what about ice cream? Baskin Robbins is basically a multicultural society with dozens of flavors. Everybody knows Ben & Jerry's is run by socialists. And how about cheese? The great freedom-loving French make lots of cheese. Is it just Wisconsin cheese that is evil or does the fact that French cheese comes from France make a difference in it's evilness?

#39 - Posted by: cptnmoroni on February 13, 2008 02:29 PM

Let's see, Americans have continuously increased life span, size, and overall health, and yet our food supply is poisoning us.

Well, that is misleading. For example, it is only very recently that products in grocery stores switched from sugar to high fructose corn syrup. Coincidentally, this was also around the time the obesity epidemic exploded. The big food companies are trying to create efficiencies and lower costs that may turn previously healthy food in to dangerous food. High fructose corn syrup is a very cheap food additive - it saves the food companies money.

No doubt having abundant and cheap food is a great plus though and those starving in third worlds would be glad to have our problems - but there are seriously problems and the FDA is all too happy to overlook them.

#40 - Posted by: Nate on February 13, 2008 03:01 PM

For Hillary Clinton:

Slip sliding away, slip sliding away
You know the nearer your destination, the more you slip sliding away

Whoah and I know a man, he came from my hometown
He wore his passion for his woman like a thorny crown
He said dolores, I live in fear
My love for yous so overpowering, Im afraid that I will disappear

I know a woman, (who) became a wife
These are the very words she uses to describe her life
She said a good day aint got no rain
She said a bad day is when I lie in the bed
And I think of things that might have been

And I know a father who had a son
He longed to tell him all the reasons for the things hed done
He came a long way just to explain
He kissed his boy as he lay sleeping
Then he turned around and he headed home again

Whoah God only knows, God makes his plan
The informations unavailable to the mortal man
Were workin our jobs, collect our pay
Believe were gliding down the highway, when in fact were slip sliding away

#41 - Posted by: Slip Sliding Away on February 13, 2008 03:25 PM

It's not UP TO THE FDA to monitor what we eat. They are charged with making sure that it's safe for human consumption. That it's edible. That it's not GOING TO KILL YOU IF YOU EAT IT. While HFCS might not be good for you, it's up to you to not eat it!!! For God's sake, people (i.e., Nate), take some damned responsibility! If you don't want to eat it, then don't. That's fine. That's your choice, and you are free to make it.

Other people don't want to make the choice, perhaps to their detriment. But it's still their choice to make, and you have no business making it for them. You can get your information out there. It's up to people to listen and follow or disregard.

If HFCS becomes unpopular and unprofitable, then companies will stop using it. Full stop.

Ugh. It's called Liberty, and it's what our country is based on. To each his own!

#42 - Posted by: PSUdain on February 13, 2008 03:25 PM

While HFCS might not be good for you, it's up to you to not eat it!!!

If the FDA is helping companies hide bad information that's a problem. When it is in almost every product in the grocery store it becomes very difficult not to eat it. Go read the ingredients of almost any packaged or bottled food item and you will see.

#43 - Posted by: Nate on February 13, 2008 03:39 PM

#35 - Posted by: on February 13, 2008 01:15 PM

Nate has proven in nearly every post that he is a non sequitur posting troll. Every Mac related blog entry we are treated to a global warming treatise. This, after all we've done to educate him on the matter. We need to appropriate more taxpayer dollars for his education.

"People eating organic [are] just trying to be extra healthy."

I know a guy that raises cattle and is a sales rep for a veterinary pharmaceuticals company. He said organic dairy farms are THE DIRTIEST places he's ever seen, and that calling themselves 'organic' is just an edge they use to compete with more modernized dairy farms because they cannot afford the equipment necessary to compete on an even keel. In summary, they call their product 'organic' because no one would buy it if it was just called 'dirty milk'.

Hillary Clinton in a move to "nail down" the gay vote has announced that Janet Reno will be her VP. The American people are stunned that Hillary has selected Chelsea's father for this post...

#47 - Posted by: ussjimmycarter on February 13, 2008 05:29 PM

I'm wincing 'cos I hate feeding trolls. But here goes. Free education, Nate.

1. Fructose is one form of dietary sugar. So, when you are eating something with HFCS in it, you're eating high-sugar syrup. i.e. concentrated sugar, in sugary syrup.

2. The grocery stores didn't change to HFCS, the food manufacturers did. Why? Because those interfering imbeciles in Congress have made sure that there are plenty of subsidies paid to farmers who grow corn. The very same people who could also get subsidies for growing corn to make ethanol. Farmers aren't stupid, so they grow lots of corn, remain on the federal teat, and the price to purchasers (food manufacturers) is low, because we all pay for part of the cost via federal tax dollars.

Consequently, you can therefore blame your obesity and sickness on the cultural blight that is socialism (idiots in government tinkering with the markets).

In any case, carbohydrates are carbohydrates are carbohydrates. When you eat 'real sugar', you're eating sucrose, which is ... prepare to be amazed ... fructose and dextrose!

You sir, are the very kind of voter that would make Obama proud. You are so mercilfully free of the ravages of intelligence and coherency. I hear Lew Rockwell has mislaid his Court Jester. Run along now.

Don't forget your tinfoil hat.

#48 - Posted by: Bod on February 13, 2008 05:38 PM

Mmmm....

Cheese.

...and Bacon....mmmmmm.

...and beer of course.

#49 - Posted by: Fast Eddie on February 13, 2008 06:49 PM

Thanks Bod. I know what HFCS is. The problem is HFCS delivers a very powerful fructose whammy that might not be good for. At the very least it has more calories than the regular corn syrup they used to use. By cutting corners the food companies are pushing products at consumers that are much more calorie and sugar potent than they used be.

I don't like Obama by the way and I agree with you on the subsidies. I wasn't blaming George Bush for HFCS - in case there is any confusion.

#50 - Posted by: Nate on February 13, 2008 07:02 PM

#49, nice. Thumbs up. But don't mock Mr. Rockwell. He's a fine person.

Now, to #44 - Posted by: Nate on February 13, 2008 03:39 PM

I know, many prepackaged foods have HFCS in them. Fine, whatever. If you don't want it, don't go eating it. Cook your own foods. Be cautious. That's the price you have to pay to control that factor: vigilance! The price of convenience foods: consumption of HFCS. See everything has its own little balancing act of costs and benefits.

Or get studies out there and educate people and work to make it unprofitable to put HFCS in products. Don't just sit and whine and expect the government to step in and nanny your food.

The FDA doesn't need to research the effects of food and shouldn't need to. It need to determine that it's safe to consume, free of poision, etc., and that's it. If individuals and/or institutions want to do research on the foods and put it out there and try to affect the marketplace, have at it! But it's not the government's job to watch what you eat.

#49, nice.

I still think the idea of electing a third party candidate that promises to veto everything is a good idea to give the House and Senate a "time-out"

PSU - sorry to malign Lew, but I don't think his participation in the political process helps advance small-l libertarianism. But we do have an even bigger tent than the GOP.

However - you're right. I can't remember the last time that jackbooted thugs forced pop-tarts down my throat at gunpoint. People can say no. You hate those evil Big-Whatevers? Hit 'em where it hurts. Their bottom line. Even the obese poor of America can. The FDA particularly is one of those loathsome TLAs that need to get the f*ck out of our lives.

I know I'm preaching to the converted but - it's scary, taking back responsibility for your own life, and the bad choices you risk making, but at the end of the day, the caring, oh so helpful State will kick you in the 'nads as soon as some pencilneck in the Ministry of Productivity figures out that you're more valuable to society as a collection of organs for transfer.

Now, we return to our regular schedule of troll-baiting and wacky, zany humor.

Apologies for the rant but a hiterto reliable social conservative/Freidmanite friend of mine told me she'd be voting Obama because he can 'heal America'.

Jesus f*cking Christ on a bike.

People suggest McCain will choose a VP more Conservative than he is.
You mean someone like Pelosi or Reid?

If you want Nate to comment on when Huckabee will drop out, you need to have a post on organic foods.
