Why Obama Bad?
Posted by Frank J. at 09:05 AM | View blog reactions | Comments (39)

This election could be tricky. We all know why we hate Hillary, but most of us have yet to figure out why we hate Barack Obama who is looking more and more likely to be the nominee. If someone comes up to you and says, "Obama is awesome! He's so hopey!" how will you respond?

I would respond by punching him in the face, as obviously only a hippy would say something like that...

#1 - Posted by: jimmyb on February 25, 2008 09:11 AM

He's such a great speaker. I sure can't wait for him to tell us what he's hoping for.

#2 - Posted by: MikeS on February 25, 2008 09:12 AM

I would say there are 845 BILLION reasons to keep him from being president.

That is the cost of the foreign aid he wants to give out under UN control. We pay the bill (over $2800 per person, I know I can find a better way to spend that kinda cash) the UN gets the credit.

Happy Happy Joy Joy

Is there a response other than a punch to the face? Maybe it should be while screaming CHANGE! CHANGE! HOPE! HOPE! CHANGE! AUUUUGH!! Then the other Obama lovers standing around will associate the words with the bloodcurdling screams of the hippie.

#4 - Posted by: MJ on February 25, 2008 09:29 AM

My response would probably be to go buy a shotgun to bury in the back yard for after he gets elected. Having a holdout or two is going to be mighty important soon.

#5 - Posted by: Peeps on February 25, 2008 09:33 AM

I'd punch them in the face for using the word "hopey".

Then I'd ask them who they were supporting for president.

#6 - Posted by: Corey on February 25, 2008 09:53 AM

Being on a college campus, I have already been forced to respond to such statements on numerous occasions. My usual response goes something along the lines of:

Obama is an ignorant moron who doesn't have the brains to run a dishwasher, let alone the greatest country on earth. His only qualification to be President is serving three years in the Senate, and he hardly bothered to show up or vote even while he was there. He's clueless on pretty much every issue and doesn't even have opinions on most of them. When he does have opinions, they're completely idiotic! We'd be better off putting a retarded monkey or a drunken baby in charge than this cretin. But people are going to vote for him because he looks pretty and talks about "hope" and "change", despite the fact that he has no actual plan on how he's going to implement this change.

The problem with America is ignorant morons like yourself go out and vote without understanding anything about politics or what the candidates stand for. If you're too dumb to look into it, why don't you let the intelligent, informed people make these decisions for you. And while you're at it, go have yourself sterilized so you don't pass your ineptitude on to any future generations.

I'm paraphrasing a little, but that's pretty close to my typical response.

#7 - Posted by: Ernie Loco on February 25, 2008 10:08 AM

I'd respond by noting that, by his own admission, Obama is a lawyer. He is therefore a social parasite, and no right-thinking American would vote for him. Then I would punch the speaker in his/her/its monkey face.

#8 - Posted by: Silicon Valley Jim on February 25, 2008 10:28 AM

I love Obama. I hope for death and taxes.

#9 - Posted by: Jimmy on February 25, 2008 10:37 AM

My response would be: "That rhymes with dopey and, by government standards, an 80% match is good enough. Are you bringing up Barack's biochemical past?? Or are commenting on the level of his common sense? You racist, you!"

#10 - Posted by: Mike O on February 25, 2008 10:38 AM

Sure he's hopey. Full of light and the milk of human kindness. And he's way popular. A hip, frothy skim-milk frappuchino of happiness, if you will. But you know where all this hipness and hopeness leads to? That's right. Hip-hop.

It won't be obvious at first, a little beatbox a la Celine Dion at the convention. The occasional shout out to his "Peeps." A new verse on "What It Takes" when he guest-hosts SNL with Aerosmith.

But give the homeboy from Illa-Noize some time ridin wit da G-men in the limos and the Fresh Prince is goin Gangsta- but hard. We're talkin Fiddy Cent people. Unless you want what rap did to R&B to happen to political discourse, Bad Boi B. Hussein Obama is just too much drama. Peace out.

#11 - Posted by: duggatunn on February 25, 2008 11:05 AM

i am wondering why do we just stop at punching hippies in the face (which is a bad idea for two reasons 1. hippy smell rubs off on you 2. hitting a head can if done improperly can break a hand) I suggest using oak or other hard wood branches to club the hippies. you dont get the smell on your hand, you get better speed out of a 3 foot stick causeing more pain, if the hippy goes into the fetel position you dont have to lean over so far to continue beating them and lastly you can then use the stick to make a nice warm fire to keep warm.

#12 - Posted by: tom on February 25, 2008 11:22 AM

Props to #7. I agree.

#13 - Posted by: CraigO on February 25, 2008 11:22 AM

I respond by giving them a paper cut and throwing lemon juice, salt, and gasoline. And probably a lit match to top it all off.

#14 - Posted by: cptnmoroni on February 25, 2008 11:28 AM

"retarded monkey or a drunken baby"
#7 - Posted by: Ernie Loco on February 25, 2008 10:08 AM

Ted Kennedy?

Obama hopes to eat kittens.

#15 - Posted by: AR on February 25, 2008 11:58 AM

For those of us of a religious nature, we know that eventually God will return, once we are wicked enough. With Obama in the White House that should speed up the process quite a bit.

We can then get on with the next step of existence.

Question: Not to offend, really! If Obamasama wins in November will they change the name of the presidents house. I've never really thought about it before, but is White House an offensive name? After all the house is white but it's the peoples house so maybe it'll have to be painted.

What color should it be, that won't cause offense to anyone or to favor one group from another?

I know "Tinted Clear"

#16 - Posted by: seanmahair on February 25, 2008 12:27 PM

I would ask if a Negro is allowed to be POTUS.

#17 - Posted by: Alan on February 25, 2008 01:11 PM

Obama's not bad; he's just drawn that way.

I might vote for Obama if, just once on national television, he would do the "Carlton Dance". If he could pull that off for 10 minutes straight, then he'd finally be demonstrating some type of skill.

#18 - Posted by: AlanABQ on February 25, 2008 01:19 PM

#16-

The Beige House, perhaps? The Blue-eyed Devil House?

#19 - Posted by: AlanABQ on February 25, 2008 01:23 PM

I would remind them that this whole candidacy has been foisted upon America by Oprah Winfrey, a woman easily taken in by frauds (see Dr. Phil, James Frey). While they pondered that, I'd show off my snarky Obama Hope-a-Dope t-shirt. Then, as the idiotic enthusiasm drained from their face, I'd push them under a bus.

#20 - Posted by: bunkerboy on February 25, 2008 01:32 PM

so, you're going with the "hope for the best" strategy. okay. *punch* I hope you decide not to press charges.

#22 - Posted by: Apple P on February 25, 2008 02:13 PM

I know it doesn't get the exposure it used to, but I've found "communist" still covers a lot of territory. It certainly gives direction to the rest of the conversation.

#23 - Posted by: comatus on February 25, 2008 02:13 PM

I HOPE! you don't mind if I CHANGE! the shape of your face with a few dozen well placed punches.

#24 - Posted by: PaleoMedic on February 25, 2008 02:54 PM

How about something like this: "I know, I love him too! I want to give all the tyrants of the world hugs instead of being mean, like Bushitler. I also dont like having jobs or a vibrant economy, just like Obama, as well. I think we should put businesses in the hands of bureaucrats, like the post office, for instance. AND I like hope and the future, and Obama really believes in those things. Obama hasnt ever run anything like a business or had any executive experience at all, so we know we can trust him."

#25 - Posted by: sean on February 25, 2008 02:59 PM

comatus, to quote a great actor's movie line, "A commie won't take a dump without a plan, son." Obama has no plan, just lots and lots of pretty rhetoric.

Since I have renamed my fists Hope (righty) and Change (lefty... make up your own jokes...); I would give them a good dose of what they want. Careful what you wish for.

#26 - Posted by: Raving Lunatic on February 25, 2008 03:02 PM

That one was little long though. What is needed is something short and pithy, which really strikes to the heart of the Obama cult. It will be interesting to see what Hillary's people come up with, but ultimately we need to have a slogan for ourselves and for Obama, which reflects our values and highlights the differences between those and Obama's. Such as believing in free markets vs. totalitarian control. Standing for freedom in the world vs. pandering to tyrants. Having a strong military vs. capitulating to external forces.

#27 - Posted by: sean on February 25, 2008 03:09 PM

Kick them in the nuts and set them on fire.

Women too.

#28 - Posted by: Cobalt60 on February 25, 2008 03:41 PM

Osamabama's not BAD. He's Breathlessly Awaiting Dreadfulness, or Buoyed-Up About Dimness or Believing Awesome Dimmitued or........

The rest of us are FINE* just thinking about his bad self.
*(freaked out, insecure, neurotic, and emotional)

#29 - Posted by: seanmahair on February 25, 2008 05:00 PM

Well, I'm not FINE, seanmahair, and I notice you aren't either! Oh, and thanks for that punny compliment somewhere else regarding my punny efforts.

#30 - Posted by: Jimmy on February 25, 2008 06:35 PM

This election is turning out to be something like American Idol.
Pathetic really

#31 - Posted by: Rosemary on February 25, 2008 06:49 PM

I didn't vote for Alfred E. Newman (What me worry ?) in the 70's. Why do ya think I'm gonna vote for him, now?

#32 - Posted by: Strnj1 on February 25, 2008 07:23 PM

attention # 7 Ernie Loco:
"If you're too dumb to look into it, why don't you let the intelligent, informed people make these decisions for you. And while you're at it, go have yourself sterilized so you don't pass your ineptitude on to any future generations."
That is basically what liberals & lefties think of us, so you might only lead them to think (not an easy trick) that you're one of them and end up getting hit on for an ObamaDonnaDonation.
Anyway, I suspect it'd be much easier to put off idiot-hearted Obama worshippers with a more down-to-earth response like, "well, what I'd like to know is, what would he call himself if he were a pimp?"

#33 - Posted by: Ira on February 25, 2008 08:41 PM

I'd tell them he couldn't muster enough moral fiber to vote for the Act that protected babies born alive. Talk about evil incarnate.

#34 - Posted by: Marie on February 25, 2008 10:22 PM

The fact that his idea of "respecting the second amendment" involves banning all semi-automatic firearms tells you exactly how much he respects the Constitution.

#35 - Posted by: gudis on February 25, 2008 11:01 PM

I can't NOT call him a socialist wannabe with a crackpot wife who thinks he's some kind of virtuous, messaianic savior of us all.

Commie. :p

#36 - Posted by: deltasierra on February 26, 2008 03:33 AM

I would hope that the bitch-slap I laid on his head would change his outlook so that it would change his hope to not getting another bitch slap.

#37 - Posted by: captamerica on February 26, 2008 05:42 AM

Face it: they're working together (Obie & Monica Lewinsky's ex-boyfriend's wife). Their main goal is not to empower us or anyone else but their elitist support base, but to disarm us financially & defensively.

Why would anyone want to monitor your firearms and direct your financial actions unless they wanted to control you? And they cry that the Patriot Act is creepy...

Do you all know why they deathly fear the 2nd amendment? It's because that it is your personal veto to tyranny, and they hate equalized opposition.

#38 - Posted by: AlanABQ on February 26, 2008 06:15 AM

Obama is a Skrull!!!
How else do you explain those ears
