Trust me, this is a much better read than 99% of what's published nowadays. The talent is in coming up with an interesting plot surrounding good characters. Actual writing ability is a smaller part of it and is pretty much gained through lots and lots of practice. I've actually come to the conclusion that there are very few really great writers who actually came out with anything worthwhile before at least age 30... at least.

Really, though, just get back to the story. You'd also better keep your promise of finishing it this time. We all have guns, you know.

Hellbender is made of win and win. I'm loving every chapter.

Hellbender is great, and I'm very picky about what I read. Just, you know, maybe get someone to read over it, and edit out the mistakes, like, you know, some kind of editor.

[Yeah, I'll go get one of those from the editor farm next door. -Ed.]

I noticed the last couple of segments have been kind of short. Maybe you could make them longer?

Otherwise they are entertaining as usual and I've enjoyed reading them.

Hazel beat me to the useful stuff, so I'll just say, please keep rolling, and (as the anonymous dude at #6, and most women everywhere, have said) longer is generally better. I'm pretty much hooked.

you could always go with multiple concurrent stories so that if something pops into your head, you can stick it in whichever story it works best in, instead of trying to work it into hellbender or ignoring the idea entirely. you can kind of do this now with the 'in my world' and 'hellbender', but the more, the merrier.

Goe, just sayin'.

I enjoy hellbender and superego very much. I think discriptive writing is really tricky and a little over rated. it would take stephen king 600 pages to write your story up to this point so far and then I wouldn't be able to read it here at work while I'm wasting time. Yours is the right balance of action, information, and hilarity for this kind of story. So post the next chapter already.
