Power point. How did they ever come up with power point, without a presentation to demonstrate its use? Without power point skills, how did we ever know who was management material, and who was not?

I prefer crayons. Bright ones. People always pay attention if you use words drawn in pastel colored crayons.

If that doesn't work I use sock puppets. Very affective when talking to liberal college professors.

As an engineer, you must know it's a matter of "bootstrapping", Frank.

First, you flop around on the floor of a crowded room full of engineers, or on the ground outside a comic book store. When the engineers notice (which should only take a day or so), you can use that opportunity to ask one of them for a mechanical pencil out of his shirt pocket. Then you use the back of your hand to draw a piece of paper.

You can figure out the rest, I think.

But the initial flopping around is the key.

That reminds me of the ad I saw for adult literacy classes... in the newspaper.

Oh, and isn't it typical how whiteboards replaced "boards of color," I mean, chalkboards. The white man is always keeping the green man down!

I prefer honkyboards or crackerboards. Then again, when I was a kid, all we had were blackboards, and nobody thought to call them jiggaboards.

How about waterboards? Nobody expects the Spanish Inquisition ...

Yeah, but back then blackboards used to do a lot of hard work. We didn't know that whiteboards worked with less effort and with less mess.
