Let's Take Her Baby
Posted by Frank J. at 09:07 AM | View blog reactions | Comments (37)

Here's this new MoveOn.org ad against McCain:

Your first reaction probably is that if this woman honestly believe that somehow John McCain will be able to forcefully take away her kid eighteen years from now and put him in the military and send him to a base in Iraq where he'll sit around and be bored for eight months, then she is so stupid she probably should have her kid taken away from her before she feeds him Drano because it's pretty looking.

Her fears are justified, though.

I've been in talks with leading Republicans on a proposal to take children away from stupid liberals and train them to be super-soldiers. Idiots liberals like this person are going to screw up their kids anyway, and we really don't need any more annoying emo kids around, so why not make them super-soldiers? Also, probably the only reason she even had the baby is she was too lazy to get to an abortion clinic, so everyone wins.

A little correction, though: In eighteen years we'll be sending him to China, not Iraq, stupid.

Good thing they keep the comments shut off or someone might point out the truth to them. Silly libtards.

Ask her again if John McCain can have him when that kid is screaming at 3:00 AM.

Since Obama's views are closer to those of the Kmer Rouge then John McCain's are, I would then worry about Obama being the one taking my child away, then turning my skull into part of some kind of pile.

#4 - Posted by: Marvin on June 19, 2008 10:02 AM

So not only are they conceding that McCain will win - they think he's going to be president for 4½ terms.

Don't worry, MoveOn! All it takes is for mom to rip up and toss out the recruitment ads when they come in the mail. You can't lose! (Oh, and language alert.)

#5 - Posted by: nightfly on June 19, 2008 10:06 AM

So is McCain proposing to instate the draft and lower the minimum age to 5? Because assuming he served the maximum of 2 terms, the kid would only be 9 or so when he left office.

Children soldiers? The Libs are so smart. I would never of thought of that. Of course most American children are way too fat, by age five, to fit through the hatch of a tank, so there may be a problem.

#7 - Posted by: Marvin on June 19, 2008 11:07 AM

My advice to the kid: RUN! Flee! Otherwise you're doomed to a lifetime of Mother-Boy pageants. The closest you'll get to the military is campy little matching sailor suits! Gaaah!

I'd be only a little surprised to learn that she's tried to shove him back into her uterus.

#8 - Posted by: PaleoMedic on June 19, 2008 11:36 AM

Two thoughts:

1) nightfly nailed it.

2) This kid will most likely be raised to be a crying, whiney, permanently offended, PC panty-waste like the wimps on MTV's Real World. He wouldn't stand a chance of making it through boot camp anyway, so she has no worries. He'll still be living at home with mommy when he's 30, not out defending our lives from radical militants...or even holding down a job.

#9 - Posted by: Son of Bob on June 19, 2008 12:03 PM

I bet this wonderful young lady and her special little child don't celebrate Veteran's Day or Memorial Day.

#10 - Posted by: on June 19, 2008 12:09 PM

Mary Katherine Ham killed me on F&F this morning, when her comment was "3 million people and all they can come up with is that John McCain is a dingo coming to steal her baby?"

#11 - Posted by: Raving Lunatic on June 19, 2008 12:48 PM

Lets be honest, McCain isn't even going to be alive by the time that baby is 18. Considering how much liberals like pointing out how old he is, you'd think they would have thought of that.

#12 - Posted by: AR on June 19, 2008 12:54 PM

The implications are astounding. McCain will be 91 years old when this kid reaches draft age. How he manages to be president that far along is a bit difficult to fathom.

#13 - Posted by: Neo on June 19, 2008 01:15 PM

Conceivably, the kid could be mowing McCain’s lawn in 18 years though. Maybe the kid’s mother has something more ambitious in mind for his future.

#14 - Posted by: Neo on June 19, 2008 01:21 PM

He's my precious! MY PRECIOUS!

#15 - Posted by: Penfold on June 19, 2008 01:36 PM

Good grief is this the kind of nonsense we're in for??? I have never seen anything so idiotic.

#16 - Posted by: Sulamie on June 19, 2008 02:27 PM

Sadly this is one of their more intelligent adds. These adds are more pathetic than the questioning during the You Tube Debates.

"A Independent voter from Minnesota in a Vote John Edwards shirt has this to say..."

#17 - Posted by: BigRichardSmall on June 19, 2008 03:35 PM

My son is only 17. He's also really cute, eats interesting food, and likes dogs. He reports to the Academy next week. I never realized until I saw this ad that I must not love my child. I'm going to have to think about how to vote in line with that revelation.

Were the Dems unsure about getting the Code Pink vote?

#18 - Posted by: comatus on June 19, 2008 04:22 PM

I didn't even watch it. I read about it on other sites & realized that MooOn incapable of producing one single piece that doesn't smack of Michael Moore-ish "facts" and pseudo-alarmist BS.

I gather it's similar in hilarity to Cameron Diaz proclaiming that "If you think rape should be legal, then don't vote" back in '04 on the Orca Winfrey show. Meaning that if you didn't vote for the Kerrybot specifically, then you're somehow implicated in a sex crime.

This is the usual crap from MooOn, like their ultra-clever "General BetrayUs" (zing!) ad in the NYT.

I bet the girl in the ad is convinced she's pregnant again, because she clearly has her head stuffed somewhere south of her neck.

#19 - Posted by: AlanABQ on June 19, 2008 04:25 PM

How do they suppose McCain will send them to Iraq 18 years from now considering at the most he could only have an 8 year term? I mean this is simple math here; and these people call themselves intellectuals?

#20 - Posted by: mateo r on June 19, 2008 04:31 PM

We should all contribute so they make more stupid ads like that. First off McCain won't be alive in 20 years let alone 100. Second off it's that childs choice if they serve our country. Thirdly their ignorance is so apparent they obviously don't even realize that we've always had war going on and always will.

#21 - Posted by: mateo r on June 19, 2008 04:36 PM

And there's the rub, Mateo: WWI, WWII, Korea, Vietnam... all those wars involved Democrat presidents committing the US to them, and they all drafted the forces to fight them. Desert Storm & OIF were committed to by Republicans with an all volunteer military, and were more successful than anything a Democrat ever tried.

We could be in Iraq for 10 more years, for what it's worth; we still wouldn't lose as many troops in that whole time than were lost in any one of the wars of the 20th century, Desert Storm notwithstanding.

#22 - Posted by: AlanABQ on June 19, 2008 05:17 PM

Alan....

"Orca" Winfrey.....Thank you. As pathetic as it sounds, I laughed wholeheartedly at that and enjoyed every last second of it.

#23 - Posted by: Sulamie on June 19, 2008 05:22 PM

My son is also cute - especially in his camo; he too eats interesting food - that is, when he gets to eat; and he loves dogs and children, as well - but misses his own immensely. He writes from Iraq that "all is well," even when it's not, having volunteered to lay down his life on command - even for the least among us (that being these ungrateful retards from MoveOn.org).

I hope their splatter is not contagious.

And to comatus, we salute your son.

#24 - Posted by: ILoveMyFreedoms on June 19, 2008 05:35 PM

*Also, probably the only reason she even had the baby is she was too lazy to get to an abortion clinic*

My thoughts exactly, unless this was filmed in HUD housing in Berkley, and her "husband" was your run-of-the-mill smelly, jobless hippie (probably absent due to another protest against drilling in Anwar; the average member of Moron.Org).

#25 - Posted by: Eros on June 19, 2008 06:53 PM

Don't use the children of Libtards for the Super-Soldier project!
They're more suited for Gamma class workers.
Even in the Brave New World of the future someone has to sanitize the telephone headsets.
While the sons and daughters of Midwestern flood survivors are volunteering for Super-Soldier training, establishing self sufficient colonies on Mars, in the asteroid belt, Ceres and Earth, Mark II around Alpha Centauri the few children of libs who manage to survive their first 9 months of existance will be polishing robots (because there are some things no self respecting robot should have to do for itself).
'It's good to be Gamma; because Gamma is good!'

Thank you , ILoveMyFreedoms, I was going to salute comatus and son but am honored to add you and yours. And humbled. God bless the troops.

Having been married to an equally unnatural blonde for 5 years, you'd think if you were going on television to represent three million people, which is liberal for a few thousand and a random name generator in George Soros' basement, you'd dye your freaking roots before going on camera. She also strikes me as a good example of the Feminist Triangle I came up with in college: Shampoo, conditioner, feminism - pick two. They always seem to have hair fried beyond all hope or greased beyond all reason.

The basic fact here is that this ad is not aimed at thinking human beings, but postmodernist drones. Postmodernists use image and emotion rather than fact and logic to make points. They misquote things to death for months after they were corrected (100 year war, etc.). By Democrat reasoning, WWII is still in full swing because almost 63 years later we have troops in Germany.

Seriously, any video done by a postmodernist will have about a dozen tearful dramatic reenactments and maybe one misquoted fact taken radically out of context. It's like watching a UFO cult trying to interpret NASA images of Mars when they get a camera or microphone.

#28 - Posted by: Kent on June 19, 2008 09:19 PM

WAKE UP PEOPLE! Can't you see how John McCain is going to accomplish this?
Of course it will be more of the "Bush-League" presidency. He will pull a Hugo Chavez and vote himself in office for life. That done, let's just re-instate the draft, and do away with those pesky age limits.
These liberal idiots are going to find a conspiracy lurking behind every silver lining, and everywhere else for that matter.
"If your not willing to stand behind our troops, your more than welcome to stand in front of them!"
Semper Fidelis

I have a 15 year old who, when she saw an ad about today's children fighting in a future war, said "BRING IT!!"

#30 - Posted by: on June 19, 2008 10:29 PM

#30-

I have a friend who, after being a father for more than fifteen years (about 39 years, but who's counting?), decided that it was time to have a meaning dialog with his daughter.

It's almost touching to see how a liberal connects with one of his offspring- way after the fact. And if was one of his kids who survived the dreaded "alleyway coat-hanger" abortions that we hear all about but never actually see... Well, she's certainly holding up well.

He essentially wishes that his wife had an abortion long ago, but since his daughter has been here for many years, now is time to connect. But only as friends; anything else might get in the way of what he's currently doing, and parenthood is such a drag, after all...

#31 - Posted by: AlanABQ on June 20, 2008 06:01 AM

it's amazing how the basic truth of "volunteer army" seems to escape their grasp. It's like republicans are lurking in the shadows (with the illegal aliens) for the purpose of grabbing your 8 year old and thrusting him into combat.

#30-hahaha I think your daughter and I would get along quite well. I'm just 16 myself and I feel the same way.

#32 - Posted by: Molly on June 20, 2008 11:52 AM

Little Alex is surely lucky to have survived the "Choice" stage of development by his obvious liberal mother to worry about being taken away.

The next stage little Alex needs to survive is the "being raise by some kind of godless socialist village" stage of life.

After that, he must be careful to avoid crowded places like grocery stores or movie theatres because after that Habeas Corpus business for terrorists there is a bigger risk than before.

Then if they ever win the election and change the AG to janet reno again, he better watch his -"your turn to go to Cuba kid"

Then there is the risk of Alex going to jail from some idle "slip of the lip" hate crime being tested just to our north in canada (with a small "c")

Then there's the risk of Alex starting a business and having some bureacrats arrest you for failing to file one of the thousands of proper forms.

Then some liberal may just Kelo your house away Alex....

Oh well....

Orca Winfrey...Now that's funny right there, I don't care who you are.

#34 - Posted by: baslimthecripple on June 22, 2008 01:31 PM

PS: As fugly and whiney as this woman is, one suspects Alex will be an only child. Providing, of course, that she does not post-nataly abort his sorry little ass. In fact, one suspects that Alex shares as much DNA, coming from Central Casting, with her as I do.
