Barack Obama: More Experienced than a House Cat
Posted by Frank J. at 09:34 AM | View blog reactions | Comments (18)

It's kinda crazy Obama has people out like Wes Clark attacking the usefulness of McCain's military career in judging his fitness to be president. Clark says its not the right experience, but as compared to what military experience Obama has? How he once saw a blimp?

You'd think Obama surrogates would do everything they can to do avoid the topic of experience and never mention the concept of how time spent at some activities can be used to speculate one's success at future activities of a similar nature. Instead, they should be trying to bring up stories about how a cat once dialed 911 to save its owner.

"There was nothing in that cat's history to indicate it knew how to operate a phone or what an emergency number is, but still that cat did what was needed when it was time to act. Similarly, Obama should be able to be president. Sure, he has never dialed 911 before -- he doesn't like to get involved -- but most would agree he's smarter than a cat."

Once again, I am in the minority.

I wonder how many people Obama has to "disown" before the majority of the electorate figures out that these folks (Wright, Ayers, Rezko, Clark, etc., etc., etc.) are his inner circle and share his beliefs, policies, and behaviors.

Who cares about that when you can have HOPE and CHANGE?

#3 - Posted by: MarkoMancuso on July 2, 2008 10:45 AM

Hey people. Maybe you shouldn't be too quick to judge. I think Clark actually has a good point. Just because you have military experience doesn't mean you have good judgment. Look at Clark. He was a freaking General and the guy was so dumb that he almost started a war with the Russians in Bosnia.

When he ordered British General Michael Jackson to move a division to block the Russians (Who were our allies in Bosnia) from taking an air port, Jackson responded "I'm not starting World War III for you Sir."

A guy from a country that has pissed away an empire over the last Century knew that was a stupid move.

Also in 2004, Clark said on Hannity and Colmes, that he knew the Army was abusing Detainees even after Abu Graib. You think the GENERAL would know that the Military is bound by the Geneva convention, Detainee abuse is punishable by UCMJ action, and the ARMY he served in for over 30 years has processes to handle this. One of those processes is NOT having a egocentric, retired GENERAL go on one of the most watched cable news programs on primetime and making retarded claims of abuse with absolutely no evidence.

Seriously, when Clark says that military experience doesn't give you good judgment, he knows what he's talking about.

Not only are the people piling up under the bus, the fistbump resides there now as well. What a tool.

Under the BUS!

#5 - Posted by: Two Dogs on July 2, 2008 11:55 AM

After all Clark's garbage the other day, I still can't beleive that McCain didn't just turn around and say "And Obama is tried and tested?"

I mean, come on John, that one's just too easy!

I dunno.... you guys're all smarter then Obama so what's my comment adding to it ?? Hey guys, I'm 86. Do me a favor .... get him out fast... back to where he was born.... in Kenya and tell him neffah to come back no more and wipe Mogabe's ass off the map... He (Obama) has a big enough trap so he can unite those stupid Africano niggahs.... RIGHT ??
Donah//// P/S:- if I were a bit younger I wouldn't need your help.... I'd do it all by meself..... The mothahf''''ah..... // hellllllup !!

#7 - Posted by: Donah on July 2, 2008 02:28 PM

I have $20 that bets that Donna is a liberal Troll. Any one care to bet against me. I make my point:

1) liberals are never funny
2) As a typical white person we all have family members like this. but we keep our's where they belong. In the old folks home. Away from any useable computer. My crazy raciest aunt I see every other month when the state shuts down the retirement center for a couple of weeks.

#8 - Posted by: BigRichardSmall on July 2, 2008 03:05 PM

#8 I will only take your bet if you accept my assertion that there are people so stupid and incoherent that to call them trolls would be an unacceptable insult to the real trolls.

I don't know any 86 year olds who speak or write like a teenage punk. This dumbass is just a race baiter, and no regular paticipant here at IMAO will bite on that hook.
Go away Donut, unless you have something serious or seriously funny to contribute. Right now you are just spewing crap.

#11 - Posted by: echo5a on July 2, 2008 04:09 PM

I would like to formally distance myself from BigRichardSmall. As a conservative he has no real choice but to support me, but his comments linking incoherent racist morons to annoying internet trolls is unacceptable. This is not what I'm about and this is not what my campaign is about.

Oh! Oh! Oh! Me too Mac! You can distance yourself from me too!

#13 - Posted by: echo5a on July 2, 2008 04:59 PM

Yeah right. What are you Libertarians going to do. Vote Nader? Axl Rose will come out with Chinese Conspiracy before that'll happen.

You libertarians better fall and line and maybe I'll cut spending to keep you guys happy. After I'm President I don't see a need for the Border Patrol. See I just saved you some money. Stop complaining.

#14 - Posted by: John McCain on July 2, 2008 05:18 PM

My wife has 3 cats.
I'd vote for anyone of them before Obama.
Toppy Lynn is best on economic issues, Laddy handles foreign policy and defense, and Lucky can lick her own butt while balancing on a 7 foot board fence, which drives the neighbors's dog crazy.
Qualified enough, I guess.

Wow. "Donah" the liberal is a sad reflection about the state of our educational system. Imagine being too stupid to impersonate an elderly racist, when all you have to do is type coherently without oozing eau-de-punkass. FrankJ does it all of the time, so how hard can it be? echo5a called it, and added the truth about IMAO.US. Here, you can be as outrageous and offensive as humanly possible, but only if you are funny or have a brain.
Note to "Donah" the dumbass: BHO sucks ass, but not because he is black. He sucks ass because he is a Marxist that hates my great country. Oh yeah, BHO also has the decision making ability of a fly. I apologize to any flies that happen to be reading, but let's be honest. Flies eat poop, which is not a great indicator of decision making ability.

As it turns out, I have a "fistbump" for Michelle.

At least she'll be proud to feel something for once...

#14 - Posted by: John McCain on July 2, 2008 05:18 PM

I'll never vote for Nader, Bob Barr maybe, but not Nader. There is a fair chance that I won't even dignify this election with a vote. There's not a republican in office except for RP who would be inclined to cut spending enough for me to "fall in line."
