Palin Versus Obama
Posted by Frank J. at 11:47 AM | View blog reactions | Comments (40)

Do you notice that after one day you can already name more Palin accomplishments from her reforming of Alaska's government and running against the GOP establishment there than I can name Obama accomplishments after more than a year of hearing about him? Plus, she's held actual jobs. I mean, what the hell is a "community organizer"? I swear, that guy is 48 and hasn't done one useful thing in his entire life.

I think McCain picking Sarah "Barracuda" Palin to be his Veep was a stroke of genius. He accomplished 4 things at once.
1. He stole NoBama's thunder.
2. He shored up McCain's conservative base.
3. He may very well pick up some of the female votes from former Hitlery supporters.
4. (And this is really good.) It made the people in the NoBama camp literally crap bricks...as you can see by their kneejerk reaction of saying that Palin doesn't have any experience. (Hello kettle...this is the pot)

This Palin pick in addition to McCain's flawless ad campaign is just too sweet! Keep it up Johnny Mac!

That picture of her leaning against a Harley does it all for me. I need a cigarette...

A "community organizer" is straight out of Saul Alinsky's "Rules For Radicals" - the book written by the Marxist, socialist hero of both Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama. Becoming a "community organizer" is part of the process of turning the country into socialism, according to Saul. Why this isn't mentioned more is beyond me.

I am in McCain's corner now all the way :) I think Palin has done far more than Obama has or ever will do.

#4 - Posted by: Olive on August 30, 2008 12:40 PM

I hear Obambi's father was an elk, so Obie's an elk, too. I'm not trying to instigate anything here.

Just sayin'.

CNN's commentator this morning was reporting on how the Obama campaign is really out there on the campaign trail, trying to regain its momentum.

Regain its momentum? My word, their convention is less than 48 hours old; they haven't even finished sweeping the floors at Pepsi center, or demolishing the temple at Invesco field. And Obama has to "regain his momentum"?

I don't think that the announcer realized what she was admitting to. In other words, Bwahhahhahhahhahhahhah!!!

I believe this nomination should be dusted for Rove's fingerprints.

Muslims are outraged!

#7 - Posted by: Burt on August 30, 2008 01:09 PM

Ed Morrissey at Hotair has a great piece this morning:

The Man Trap

But I think there is also a different kind of trap at work now: MEN FOR PALIN. I don't know about the other guys here, but when I can't find the political philosphy I want in any of the candidates and a FEMALE WARRIOR comes along that has it, ah... I pay very close attention!

#8 - Posted by: Jimmy on August 30, 2008 01:18 PM

In Obama's defence, he's only 47.

...

Yeah, I got nothin'.

#9 - Posted by: Damian G. on August 30, 2008 01:30 PM

I'm with you Jimmy.

She's smart, she's conservative, she's hot, she's a lifetime NRA member!

I'll be in my bunk.

#10 - Posted by: DamnCat on August 30, 2008 01:43 PM

I'm picturing a million American men marching with "Palin '12" signs.

Now, THAT'S a tingle.

#6 - Posted by: ss396 -- Obama campaign is really out there on the campaign trail, trying to regain its momentum.

What? Didn't Biden give them any Joe-mentum? Apparently he's an even lamer VP pick than Lieberman was for Gore.

I guess all the have now is O-nertia.

#12 - Posted by: DamnCat on August 30, 2008 01:51 PM

"Palin: She stands for me."

Second time in my life I've said that about anyone.

And I'll take McCain to get her. Bring it.

#13 - Posted by: Jimmy on August 30, 2008 01:55 PM

Beautiful Frank! you need to market that to the McCain campaign. They seem to have trouble coming up with winning lines. The forum at Saddle Back moved me in Johns direction, Palin tipped me over. It will be interesting to see if two people who dont dance to anyone's drum but their own can get along however.

#14 - Posted by: DixieKraut on August 30, 2008 02:37 PM

Oh it is so on. This election just got super crazy delicious. The right wingers just got interested in this election thanks to McCain and it is going to be oh so much joi and so much fun watching you all go down. lose lose lose! McCain spells pander P A L I N! Let's all put on our female cheerleader outfits and scream Go Palin Go! We all love to dress like women and wear panties!! Yaaaah GOP Team!

Ha ha. Obama so crushes Palin in 2008. Like some redneck lady who names her kids Twig and Biscuit is going to win. Please. LOL! This is the best election ever. You have no idea how happy we all are that you are all super excited because it will be that much more fun when the Left kicks your asses. You can't say you don't care anymore. Suck on that you ignorant inbred home schooled chimps with low IQ scores who don't even understand climate change or science.

P.S. Palin will lose. HA HA HA!

To repeat: the stakes have never been higher now that a real malkin-esque crazy is on the ticket. Michelle Malkin loses in 2008! Victory for the far left. Victory for dailykos in 2008 over malkin! It's basically Markos vs. IMAO and Markos is going to kick IMAO's ass. So funny.

Actually, %71 of the world's male population like to dress up like women.

Liberal Head-up-ass Extraction Instructions:
-------------------------------------------------------

1. First, get a good TOOL to perform the extraction on liberal #1 (usually another liberal, called liberal #2). (You may note that liberal #2 does not yet have his/her head in such a predicament.)

2. Place the TOOL up the a$$ (there might be money there, so be careful) of liberal #1 where their head is stuck (if in a bucket, same procedure).

3. Open the liberal #2's mouth remotely (that's the tricky part).

4. Engulf liberal head #1 with liberal head #2.

5. Close liberal #2's mouth and lock (remotely, of course).

6. Pull #2 liberal out of liberal #1's a$$. Watch for money to fall out. Burn the money. It's got $hit on it.

7. Discard both entwined liberals at The Daily 'Cause I-Can't-Think trash can.

(Word on the street is that this procedure is about to be applied at MSNBC.)

sounds like someone is scared......

when a wild animal is frightened, it acts out, makes lots of noise. That won't be a problem for Sarah...she is familiar with animals like that being a hunter and all!!!

And why do "feminist" who demand "choice" dis my choice when I want to wear a skirt, stay home with my kids and be a Republican?????

#24 - Posted by: PammyV on August 30, 2008 07:20 PM

PammyV~ Because for them, choice = baby murder, not the choice to do what's best for you and your family.

#25 - Posted by: RightWingTink on August 30, 2008 07:37 PM

It sounds like she had a legitimate reason to remove both the director and the trooper. If there was an trooper who was a serious threat to the first family, and if that officer had a history of abuse of power, as well as domestic battery and a high ranking public official was covering for that trooper preventing his firing, then both the high ranking official and the trooper need to be terminated. Actually, even if Palin wasn't governor, and her brother-in-law had simply been protecting his drunk girlfriend, and tasering his 10 year old son, then there would be reason to remove both the trooper and anyone protecting him. It seems rather then Palin using her authority to go after the guy, the fact that she was governor just escalated an ugly situation to the point it could not be ignored.

#26 - Posted by: Marvin on August 30, 2008 08:22 PM

choose to lose and hope for change

y'all got 50 cent?

#27 - Posted by: BO on August 30, 2008 09:32 PM

PammyV--
You didn't actually think "pro-choice" meant pro-choice, did you? It means "pro-killing-the- innocent." The person most involved in the abortion--the child--gets no choice at all, ever. Not to mention the fact that many, if not most, abortions are forced or coerced.

You see, feminists don't like women. They don't think any accomplishment a woman has made as a woman is worth anything. It's only when you play male--and bad, promiscuous, workaholic male at that--that you're worth anything. Which is why I am no longer a feminist.

The Trolls go marching one by one, hurrah, hurrah
The Trolls go marching two by two, hurrah, hurrah
The Trolls go marching three by three, they cry and whine and swiftly flee.
When Gov. Palin come to D. C., as VP, with her kid and her guns and her integrity.

#30 - Seanmahair! You've managed to say more in 5 lines than I could say in 5 paragraphs! And it rhymes, it's got a good beat, and I can march to it! Hurruh!

#31 - Posted by: 4 of 7 on August 31, 2008 02:30 AM

Obama did achieve one thing in his life. He beat Cankles. And he did it by outcheating her in caucuses. Sweet.

Besides, he's got funny ears. That's what makes him so Presidential.

#32 - Posted by: LenS on August 31, 2008 03:53 AM

#3 Son of Bob - Because the media is chock-a-block full of Marxist (i.e liberal Democrat) SOBs. Propaganda and obfuscation are their methods.

#33 - Posted by: HCG on August 31, 2008 04:43 AM

I'm voting for Obama because I will save more money with him -> http://alchemytoday.com/obamataxcut/

Also, Palin is a redneck and I don't want a redneck dirtying up the White House and putting stuffed Bear and Moose heads everywhere.

#34 - Posted by: MoneySavingTip on August 31, 2008 08:11 AM

Thanks for clarifying the meaning of choice. :)

(It was actually a rhetorical question aimed at the stupid trolls....not that that would make them think, but you never now...)

They are a bunch of angry, bitter hags, aren't they? It's cuz deep down they really want to wear make up, shave their legs and highlight their. When they were 19 and decided they didn't need this stuff, they looked OK. Now, not so much!!!!

#36 - Posted by: PammyV on August 31, 2008 11:36 AM

One thing that Barry has done that Palin will never do, and that's visit all 57 states!

Take that Palin!

Community organizing... I listened to this interview of Stanley Kurtz on Extension 720 with Milt Rosenberg in Chicago. Kurtz writes for the National Review and he's been looking up archives of what a foundation called the Chicago Annenburg Challenge, whose board Obama chaired, accomplished. It distributed money to programs with the intent of improving the public schools. 110 or more million dollars later no improvement noted.

Funded by our pragmatic post-ideological hero's board: a program to celebrate "the african-american holiday Juneteenth" (the emancipation proclamation), a "Peace School", and bilingual education initiatives. Nothing wrong at all with celebrating the emancipation proclamation - even if their grant application implied that it would be instead of the Fourth of July since you can't say black people found the country to be much to celebrate before the proclamation, but...

Not Funded by our pragmatic post-ideological hero's board: "The Chicago Algebra Project" with the singular goal of "increasing student achievment" and "The District 5 Math/Science Initiative".

Kurtz calls this Obama's most important executive experience. (but at least he's got testosterone, right leftys?)

Oh, and rather than legitimize this anti-social broadcast by sending a representative, the guy they reached in the Obama campaign hung up on the producer after getting the number of the station manager and sent a bulletin out for supporters to call in to stop the smear. Hey, I'm not a big lefty fan but the calls suprised me and creeped me out. Don't tell me Obama isn't left wing after this. Clearly his campaign beleives it.

Change you can - and better damn well - believe in.

#38 - Posted by: Robbie on August 31, 2008 10:09 PM

Obama dreams about riding unicorns and jumping with deer and squirrels while singing "I got one or two things to say about change. Like the change we must change to the change we hold dear. I really like change. Have I made myself clear?"

#39 - Posted by: Freedom Fries on August 31, 2008 10:20 PM

Hey, this place has been kinda boring since the ronulons left.

How do you summon more obamorons? Say "barack obama" three times? Or is it "Sara Palin" three times?
