Quick Question

Did the Democrats ever spontaneously chant "USA! USA!" during their convention or can they just not pull that off convincingly?

I think there some Code Pinkos or other protesters managed to slither in. Whenever they try to yell something the crowd starts yelling "USA USA..." while someone drags the hippies out to the parking lot where Fred Thompson is waiting to introduce them to St. Peter.

DamnCat's pretty much hit it on the head.

Hello. We are the trolls that have been visiting IMAO recently. We are no longer concerned that Sarah Palin is any kind of threat to Obama's 2008 victory and we are weary of making comments. We are going to go away now. We hope you all have a happy the rest of 2009. Give Fred Thompson a french kiss from us! Fare thee well.

[We'll miss you. Hope you find another fun blog to comment on. -Ed.]

USA!

#4 - Posted by: slapout on September 4, 2008 10:44 PM

I think shouting "USA! USA!" is taboo among the Democrats. Sort of like using the words "patriotism" and "pride".

You are correct. Sarah Palin will not win the Presidency in 2008.

The tried but kept chanting "USSR" by mistake.

#7 - Posted by: Sharky on September 4, 2008 11:32 PM

no, they'd rather chant the "bob the builder" theme song

#8 - Posted by: cpez on September 5, 2008 12:00 AM

I always figured they would choke on their own bile if they did. Or possibly burst into flames.

#9 - Posted by: Bob in Feenicks on September 5, 2008 12:46 AM

No, they chanted Obama instead. Very symbolic. For dems it's about the individual, for Rep, it's about our country.

Are you kidding? Unless they are fortunate enough to be a member of Congress' offspring, Democrats are the product of public education. Chant USA? They can't even spell USA.

#11 - Posted by: Brian on September 5, 2008 01:25 AM

No, Americans chant USA, Democrats chant O-BAMA.

#12 - Posted by: Son of Bob on September 5, 2008 01:48 AM

Bill Clinton got USA chants and flags, but apparently in the Dem party you have to already have been president to inspire patriotism.

#13 - Posted by: Matt on September 5, 2008 02:49 AM

I think they couldn't do it. Reverend Wright wasn't there to screech profanities, so they couldn't figure where to say it.

#14 - Posted by: carolynp on September 5, 2008 04:13 AM

Actually I think they spontaneously chanted "TAX,TAX,TAX" throughout their convention.

#15 - Posted by: olepharte on September 5, 2008 08:08 AM

Democrats chant butt-sex butt-sex butt-sex

#16 - Posted by: ussjimmycarter on September 5, 2008 08:21 AM

Yeah, #16, and Republicans just tap out the code for it on the stall floor! Heh.

#17 - Posted by: Red Meat on September 5, 2008 12:06 PM

Oh correct me if I'm wrong but isn't the Democratic party the home base for the Man-Boy Love organization? They are the political home to the Gay and Lesbian Alliance aren't they? I would say that that makes them 90% more experienced with this kind of behavior.

This doesn't make me a homophobe. I think -therefore I vote Republican.

"The whole world is watching!"
"No more war!"
"Bush lied, people died!"
"What do we want? THE RIGHT TO CHOOSE! When do we want it? NOW!
(stab, stab, squirt, squirt)
(scrape, scrape, bleed, bleed)
(suck, suck, tear, tear)

I once thought I heard some libtards chanting USA! USA! at an Obama rally. But it turned out they were actually ordering drinks by shouting Chardonnay! Chardonnay! I hear it goes well with arugula.
