They say turnabout's fair play so I can't help but think the obnoxious trolls are just pay back for all those obnoxious emails WE sent to another political site. That said, these trolls do make things more interesting. At least we're having a lively debate and not just sucking up to Harvey's brilliance.

#2 - Posted by: I'm with Stuppid on September 6, 2008 06:50 PM

hahahahahahahaha.

Now just calm down evil monkey. Take a deep breath. That's it. Nice and easy. Go to your happy place.

#3 - Posted by: Sulamie on September 6, 2008 06:56 PM

Poor little scary evil monkey. I think you have been smoking too much wacky weed. Like Sulamie said, "Calm down and go to your Happy Place!!!!"
Things will get better tomorrow.

#4 - Posted by: maytag on September 6, 2008 07:22 PM

Huzzah for the return of the Scary Evil Monkey. I was just reminiscing yesterday about his rant from the '06 midterm elections. So, why no Scary Evil Monkey tag on this post??? Are there any other S.E.M. posts lurking un-tagged??

#5 - Posted by: motopolitico on September 6, 2008 07:52 PM

Fear monkeys gonna bite you with nasty pin teeth!

#6 - Posted by: Freemon Sandlewould on September 6, 2008 07:58 PM

Too bad the monkey is right.

#7 - Posted by: Daniel on September 6, 2008 08:03 PM

Say what you want, but Scary Evil Monkey is more openminded than Queef Olberman over on PMSNBC.

McCain & Palin are going to win. Obama will cry like a four year old girl, and Biden will pull out his hair. And since his hair is not covered by the warranty anymore, he'll never get his money back at The Hair Club for Men.

#8 - Posted by: Exile on September 6, 2008 09:31 PM

I'm really, really, REALLY scared of Scary Evil Monkey's face!!!

Go Palin!

(OK, I'm outta here before he bites me or throws poo.)

#9 - Posted by: Jimmy on September 6, 2008 09:51 PM

Scary Evil Monkey better get back in his cage, find his blankie and cover himself with poo. Palin will have him for lunch. Did you see the bear on the couch in her office? You thinks she'll think twice about blowing your liberal money face off.

Anytime something (or someone) says, I ain't scared of ______, you can bet that they are seriously terrified. In this case they have a real reason to be concerned. This lady means business. She is not playing like Osamabama and Queen O. She's not interested in being friends with her enemies. She's interested in winning the war.

I really like that about her.

#10 - Posted by: seanmahair on September 6, 2008 10:00 PM

This is almost exactly the sort of response that I'm getting over on my LJ.

#11 - Posted by: ZK on September 6, 2008 10:18 PM

Thanks.

#12 - Posted by: motopolitico on September 6, 2008 10:40 PM

Monkey, your threats have always rung hollow. Your acolytes in Denver and St. Paul promised us mayhem and urine, urine, everywhere but all we got was a couple broken windows and a fat-ugly- snotgargling-CodePinko getting escorted off.

Wake me when your centrifuges are coming on-line.

2008 America will choose

#15 - Posted by: on September 6, 2008 11:04 PM

This is indicative of the meltdown of the Obama campaign as their cheerleaders have become completely unhinged, and now - with Keith Oberman speechless & soiled - they have even released the Scary Evil Monkey. Neither Sarah Palin nor any other real American would even waste a good round when they can just let it fall into the well laid trap.

The Palin enigma, in one fell swoop, put Obama & his supporters into crisis mode from which there may be no recovery.

No longer must we fear the nasty evil that lurks among us. The dynamics have changed. There is reason for true hope again.

#16 - Posted by: compugor on September 6, 2008 11:19 PM

Y'all should see the comments on Oprah's web site about her not inviting Gov. Palin on her show. If I remember correctly there are over 2000 comments running I'd say 10 to 2 for Sarah (or against Oprah). Seems the bloom is off the rose, thank you again Sarah. American women needed to see this charlatan for what she is. Bless you.

#17 - Posted by: seanmahair on September 6, 2008 11:29 PM

I see Palin as a pure-hearted woman engaged in a tough profession at which she excells. The better she gets at her work, the purer her heart and mind become. Interesting, how that works, doncha think?

#18 - Posted by: Jimmy on September 6, 2008 11:36 PM

Oh, and #10 be making Scary Evil Monkey frown and go bipolar. Bear.

#19 - Posted by: Jimmy on September 6, 2008 11:54 PM

Has anyone ever seen both Scary Evil Monkey and Nancy Pelosi at the same time? Just wondering...not insinuating anything...just curious.

#20 - Posted by: Son of Bob on September 7, 2008 12:07 AM

No, but Jim Carey saw Harry Reid's butt monkey in a movie once. And it was Scary Evil.

#21 - Posted by: Jimmy on September 7, 2008 12:11 AM

Palin is nothing compared to Oprah. Oprah is an a brilliant Angel while Sarah Palin is just a smelly fart in the wind. Palin wouldn't come on the show anyway - she's terrified to do interviews because she can't answer the questions. She's one chicken shit bitch with a low IQ of about 90 to 100 based on it taking her like ten schools to get one lousy degree.

[Is this supposed to be irony? -Ed.]

#22 - Posted by: 150IQGenius on September 7, 2008 12:13 AM

Well, #22, you must be a member of Biden's "My IQ is probably high than yours" club. In which case, you're at the wrong site, my genius. If you're that smart, why are you wasting your time here?

Or are you prepared to explain the probability that 10/12 people commenting at Oprah's site are at or below that "average" IQ range you claim for Palin?

Oh, don't be careful. Many engineers and scientists roam here ready to string people like you up in wavelet functions.

#23 - Posted by: Jimmy on September 7, 2008 12:21 AM

Jimmy's probably right. The last time I watched Oprah, I could feel my IQ drop within the first five minutes.

#24 - Posted by: TexianWoman on September 7, 2008 12:43 AM

Jimmy, it's late, and I'm tired, but you still made me chuckle with the thought of people being strung up in wavelet functions.

Personally, I'm neither a scientist nor a "real" engineer (agricultural engineers are the redheaded stepchildren of the engineering world, I've discovered), but I am an economist (which is why I'm a conservative, but that's a different story), so I will offer to string people up in an indifference curve, if needed.

#25 - Posted by: Joseph on September 7, 2008 01:55 AM

Thinking back on the wonderful videos Frank has made, the Scary Evil Monkey video has to be my second favorite of all time. I don't think it is possible to top the Keith Olbermann video.

Hey Joseph (#25), did you get the Scott Adams survey of economist?
As an engineer, I have to admit I don't remember wavelet functions! The curriculum probably covered them, but as an immature 17-21 year old student, I slept through a lot of classes and almost failed out two different times. Oops. Is it my fault my instructors were really boring?

#26 - Posted by: HCG on September 7, 2008 05:52 AM

No, I'm not that high up in economic stature; while I'm no longer a lowly undergrad, I haven't got my masters quite yet...working on it.

As for almost failing out, well, no, you can't do anything about boring teachers. I've had some brilliant teachers, very intelligent individuals, that couldn't possibly relate to us as students (they were too smart) and therefore put me to sleep every time.

#27 - Posted by: Joseph on September 7, 2008 09:57 AM

That Obama's pitiful campaign is crashing is borne out by hysterical accomplices trolling blogs planting negative misinformation about Sarah Palin, who obviously knocked them for a loop from which they are desperately trying to recover.

Its insidious - the same dummy or multiple dummy drones have trolled IntellectualConservative, TownHall and AmericanThinker with the same crap about multiple schools for a degree. Yes, Palin went to a bunch of colleges before getting a degree. No, that’s not illegal. Yes, she seems to have made something of herself anyway.

We need to differentiate them with calculus until their heads explode. Can anyone scan the trolls, like in the "Scanners" movies, via blog thread?

You can bone up on the Palin rumor list here:
http://explorations.chasrmartin.com/2008/09/06/palin-rumors/

...and remember to turn the focus on Obama, who if God forbid is elected, wouldn’t be a heartbeat away from the presidency… he would be the president. And he sucks. They've got nothing good to say about him so they're desperately trying to denigrate Palin. Barack Obama is an inexperienced, far-left, naive, "Blame America First" arrogant liberal, and our country deserves better for our next President and Commander-in-Chief. We don't even need to bring up Biden, who is so much dead weight on a so-called "change" ticket.

Bottom line folks: the John McCain / Sarah Palin ticket is the only ticket to positive reform of government, economic prosperity and national security. Now stand up and fight!

#28 - Posted by: compugor on September 7, 2008 10:11 AM

Sarah called. She's on her way over to kick scary monkey in the balls!

#29 - Posted by: ussjimmycarter on September 7, 2008 10:24 AM

matoko/nishi/quell...whatever has posting privileges here? What a way to reach across the aisle.

#30 - Posted by: Mikey NTH on September 7, 2008 12:31 PM

I love it when trolls make my point for me. I have pointed out a number of times that they just can't resist turning everything into a personal battle. I guess it's all those FEELINGS running amuck.

That and the fact that most of them have the vocabulary of 13 year olds. They keep trying to impress those more mature than themselves but all they succeed in doing is reminding us how sad, adolescent, and ignorant they truly are.

Still it makes for entertaining reading. After all TV stinks and the movies are lame right now and the Olympics have ended so Troll Baiting is the sport du jour.

#31 - Posted by: seanmahair on September 7, 2008 08:05 PM

Trolls du jour. Hmmm. I'm hungry. Trolls Tartare. Trolls Mignon. Trolls Hollandaise. Foie Gras Du Trolls. Troll Escargots.

#32 - Posted by: Jimmy on September 7, 2008 08:25 PM

Any suggestions on the best way to field dress a monkey.

#33 - Posted by: Sarah Palin on September 7, 2008 08:47 PM

My twelve year old suggested Sweet and Sour Troll. I thought that was pretty good coming from a pre teen and all.

Troll a la King.

Troll Marinara

Troll Alfredo

and the spouse's contribution Chicken Fried Troll.

#34 - Posted by: seanmahair on September 8, 2008 01:23 AM

I see you cook all of those and even share your recipes, head troll chef seanmahair! Might I suggest some additional daily specials:

Trolls Benedict
Poached trolls with truffles
Trolls Almondine

and our favorite today,

Trolls a la carte

#35 - Posted by: JimboBob on September 8, 2008 12:40 PM

You got yur..

Troll and Beans

Troll Jambalya

Troll Creole

Troll Tacos... (especially dangerous)

Troll Sausage..(same as above)

Troll Chili

Troll Alfredo..

Steamed Troll

Baked Troll

#36 - Posted by: TerribleTroy on September 8, 2008 09:11 PM

2 questions:

1. How do you clean them; With battery acid and a wire brush?
2. Considering what they feed on, do they have any nutritional value?

#37 - Posted by: 4 of 7 on September 8, 2008 09:39 PM

No like most bottom feeders they really aren't very tasty and are somewhat tough and stringy. They really should be put in a slow cooker and marinated all day.

#38 - Posted by: seanmahair on September 9, 2008 12:37 AM

I see stupid cannibal talk. Dumb. Dumb right wingers saying dumbs things. Making up troll foods. I see them. They are idiots. Pathetic. Lame. Dolts. PALIN WILL NOT WIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

#39 - Posted by: SamoGumchi on September 9, 2008 02:12 AM

Whoa!! SamoGumchi is one of my favorite, southern troll dishes!

Spicy pickled or fermented mixture containing cabbage, onions, and sometimes fish, variously seasoned, as with garlic, horseradish, red peppers, and ginger.

But you're right, seanmahair, it has to be cooked A LONG TIME.
