Yay! NRA Ads
Posted by Frank J. at 11:05 AM | View blog reactions | Comments (18)

New NRA ads:

Take that, you little America-hating fascist!

I don't trust anyone who doesn't understand why the 2nd Amendment is important because then that person doesn't have a good understanding of liberty in general. Someone who thinks banning guns for people's "own good" is an okay idea should never be given any power. Yeah, Obama says he won't do anything against guns now, but someone who lived in Chicago so long and never once spoke against those draconian laws has no love of freedom. Also, people who don't like guns are sissies, and so many heroes did not shed blood on foreign soil so this country can be run by a sissy.

Something to keep in mind.

I am not a sissy, you racist cracker! I am differently-manly!

Boogy - are you retarded or something?

"I'm not bitter, I'm blessed" I LOVE IT.

Barak Obama he'll imprison us, because he cares.

This man is truly dangerous. He's a traitor, a coward and a hypocrite. He doesn't have the experience to work at a 7 11. Besides he's....... (didn't anyone mention) a liberal, and we all know they can't be trusted, ever, with anything important or anything at all.

Why's there an "or" in your question?

Great ad. I would like if they work in the "talk about us one way in front of us and another way in San Francisco," but it still gets the point across.

Sure, Obama believes in the second amendment.

He just believes its been repealed.

This organic arugula is bitter!

This newest clown in the parade of clowns put forward by the Socialists in our country brings nothing new to the table, as usual. It's the same old recycled "We know better than you country rubes" crap. I submit for your approval a line from the Texas Declaration of Independence, when they outlined the wrongs done by their own personal despots, the government of Mexico. We continue to fight this battle to this day, and I suspect we will continue to until we thoroughly and completely defeat the commies of our day.

"It has demanded us to deliver up our arms, which are essential to our defence, the rightful property of freemen, and formidable only to tyrannical governments."

Guns are only a threat to governments who seek to exercise tyrannical control over their subjects...er...citizens. Obama fears an armed populace for the simple reason that he knows that what he seeks to do to us is contrary to our will. He and all like him are communist tyrants, and must be put down before he does it to us.

Did you know that always talking in rhymes is a sign of mental illness? I am not sure which mental illness, so I will just say the worst one that pops into my head. Obsessive Psychotic Delusion compounded by Acute Social and Mental Retardation. Of course this is the same form of mental illness that I use to describe anyone who is wildly liberal. While it may not be a real diagnoses yet, I am working on it.

After the 1st video which I made a motion to send to all your friends and enemies, I make a 2nd motion you forward this one to punctuate the first one.

You will all care about the oceans someday but by then it will too late ... because all the fish and sea creatures will be dead!

#11 - Posted by: benji on September 23, 2008 04:02 PM

Benji, I care about the oceans - that's where Mcgrath's Fish House gets my lobster tails from.

#12 - Posted by: cptnmoroni on September 23, 2008 04:54 PM

Benji, most here do care. And they know that our ocean's plight is way more significant than that of our atmosphere (which is more dynamic). In other words, forget about 'global warming / cooling' since it's now been proven to be driven by the sun. Global 'acidification' of the oceans, however, IS a byproduct of our industrial civilization and it's impact on our atmosphere.

You want something to worry about? Try coastal polution, growing dead zones, garbage dumping, destruction from bottom trawlers and drift nets, declining fish stocks, toxic sediments, decreasing ocean pH and it's impacts, etc. These really are man-made problems and require man-made solutions.

Governmental policies to talk about:

International fisheries management
Water polution and remediation
Sewage treatment
Air polution's effects on the ocean
(etc.)

Suggestion: make more constructive comments besides pleas that suggest readers here are oblivious to the world. Because we're not.

#13 - Posted by: Jimmy on September 23, 2008 05:13 PM

I care too, Benji. I really, really do. *Sniffle*

Oh, in all seriousness I say nuh-uh to that wild-ass assertion. The earth would win the fight of man vs. nature, hands down. Life will go on as long as the sun remains as it is. We will have no say in that matter. None.

#14 - Posted by: PaleoMedic on September 23, 2008 05:18 PM

I liked benji better when he was a cute little dog in terrible G-rated movies...And I really hated him then.

#15 - Posted by: Herpules on September 23, 2008 06:16 PM

When armed governments or mobs against unarmed people have committed the greatest atrocities of mankind, why are you for disarming the citizens?

#16 - Posted by: Sir Deus on September 23, 2008 07:32 PM

I know no better conservationists than hunters, fishermen, and outdoors-persons. They actually care about the enviroment because if we spoil it they will have nothing to hunt, catch, eat or appreciate.

The vast majority of sportsmen are responsible enviromentalists instead of rabid mental enviro-terrorists. Take a look at places Liberals go to party (or protest, it's mostly the same).

Hypocrites thy name is Liberal.

If guns are outlawed, only outlaws will have guns.
