Well, thank goodness he has a strategy. I was getting worried there for awhile.

They ARE the Underpants Gnomes!!
September 25th, 2008 at 8:20 pm
Frank, you should be proud that Obama fears IMAO so much. Good show, chap.
September 25th, 2008 at 8:21 pm
The fact that you insist on believing that the Obama campaign are in it for profit shows that you still do not understand the nature of the dialectic! Power to the People! He is The One! And, he’s coming to get your guns, foolish running-dog!
September 25th, 2008 at 8:27 pm
Let’s see him try to get my guns honey!!!!

His campaign staff yes, but his supporters are better represented by Towely.

I’m not entirely convinced that the trolls are real. Either they’re not real trolls or they’re not real people. I mean, no human being can be that stupid. Either they’re really just fans of IMAO and like to see us get all riled up or they’re some sort of genetic experiment gone horribly wrong.
September 25th, 2008 at 9:09 pm
…yeah, and then, after insulting Palin and praising Romney, they completely blow it by saying something stupid like “Our man Obama will win! Hahaha! You IDIOTS.” Sometimes, they make me laugh in my mouth a little. But it doesn’t last long because I’m being attacked by conservatives and there’s no room in there except for the attack…
September 25th, 2008 at 9:09 pm
What’s wrong with Romney? You don’t like him at all on this blog?
September 25th, 2008 at 9:16 pm
When was Romney on this blog? Did I miss him? Darn it!
September 25th, 2008 at 9:17 pm
The problem with these theories is a blog like this one has only a dozen or so regular readers. It would be nonsensical for an organized Obama campaign to waste time astroturfing here so it has to be the Romney blogs or someone trying to counter Palin in 2012 – Huckabee? Most people I have talked to think McCain-Palin are a slam dunk to take in November!

We found a stick and scraped him off of the blog, but most of the stench is still from the trolls.
September 25th, 2008 at 9:28 pm
Smitty: Wow. You’re a wiz with numberz. And I thought that 4,977 unique visitors (according to SiteMeter) per day, with 24 hours in a day, would average a little over 207 an hour. Which means, with only a dozen regular readers, IMAO pulls in 195 new (new!) readers every hour … assuming that the dozen regular check in every hour of every day.
And with 195 new readers every hour, Frank out to be putting up ads.

Which is why you guys keep posting from Chicago and why the dimmer trolls among you have already mentioned the Daily Kos a number of times . . .
BTW, outside of Hugh Hewitt (not know for his animosity towards Palin) – WTF’s a Romney blog?
Can you name one?
September 25th, 2008 at 9:31 pm
Except the real Romney supporters here don’t talk like the commenters in question, Mr. Lips, whoever you are. You obviously haven’t been around long to know that. You’re just wasting your time here and this blog’s bandwidth. At the moment, I think most of us would agree whether we want Romney to run in 2012 or not. There are many more important fish to fry.
September 25th, 2008 at 9:36 pm
What the hell is with these losers. Palin is a much better choice than Romney. I don’t give a piss about Romney. Romney’s “financial expertise” and “many years of experience governing a big state” and his “Olympic success” doesn’t mean a hill of beans in this race. We are stealing nearly all the Hillary voters away with Palin. You little Obama weasels are screwed. No need for 2012 when we get to hump the gold nugget in 2008. So go tell all your friends that this here blog thinks Romney is nothing more than a fart in the wind now that we’ve got sexy legs Palin to cheer for.
[Pssst. They're not really Romney supporters. No one (other than Hugh Hewitt) cares that much about Romney. There's nothing wrong with Romney, but excited about him is like getting for vanilla ice cream. -Ed.]

Not everyone is part of your weird little Palin universe. You are wrong Smittypoo a lot of Republicans think McCain grabbed the Fail banner when he picked Palin.
Guys, give it up. Who do you think you’re kidding? There is no grassroots opposition to Palin among Republicans. None. If there were, we’d know. A large portion of people on our side hated McCain winning and yet even we haven’t badmouthed him as much as you guys are attacking Palin. Nobody is buying this.
No one.
September 25th, 2008 at 9:40 pm
This is weird blog. Why is there a debate about 2012 already. You shouldn’t be badmouthing any republicans that we might need in 2012. If this blog is doing that they should stop. Why destroy our chances in a future election by knocking down Romney or Thompson. You don’t what’s going to happen. Romney and Thompson are good Republicans too.

Now for you Romney distractor trolls, I have some shoe styles to offer you.
Please have a seat and a salesman will be along to measure your feet.
Keep refreshing this page while the heuristic, auto-eradicating, Franken-J-despaminator monitors your IP address.

If there’s one thing IMAO is clearly known for, it’s its hatred of Fred Thompson.
I can see you’ve been around here a while.
[My readers from Chicago seem to be pretty new. -Ed.]

Boogy I love your stuff,
It makes more sense than anything else here on IMAO!
Of course, I have an IQ of 30,
And like to fling my own poo,
around my room in Momma’s basement,
Just like you!

They can’t be Obama supporters, Obama can’t even send a text message, letalone use email or a blog site. Obama couldn’t even send a simple text message on a cell phone announcing his VP choice…almost no one who was signed up for the “big announcement” ever received it.
But it doesn’t matter to them, he’s our generation’s Gary Coleman for retards, except instead of cheering each time he says “What you talkin’ about Willis” they jump up and down when he spouts “Hope and change.”
September 25th, 2008 at 10:50 pm
FrankJ,
Where’d all the wieners come from all of a sudden? You’d think there was an election going on, or something, with all the screeching monkeys around here. As one of the apparent dozen or so of your regular readers, I’ll check back in a little while. Guess I’ll have to help clean up all the monkey poo that’s being flung around here, too. Oh, well… that’s what happens when your a conservative. Let the monkeys out for a while, then clean up their crap.

Hey, quit impersonating me!
I wouldn’t hail C’thulhu.
He’s scary.

Here’s the thing. Trolls think that if they throw Romney’s name around and beat up on Palin we conservatives will get all upset with each other and start beating each other up. They will then be free to wander on down to the White House and set up shop.
Got news for you. I may not like John McCain. I may think Thompson or Romney or even Palin would have been a better choice, but conservatives are realists. McCain is what we’ve got and after reading some of the things you “hope and freedom koolaid drinkers” have written here and other places, I wouldn’t vote for a Democrat if he promised to send all illegals back where they came from, outlawed abortion, put prayer back in school and depopulated Hollywood by sending all the residents to the Azores.
I really don’t want to live in a world controlled by those on the left. They make Hell seem like a vacation spot.

You’re telling me Romney didn’t win the primaries? And here I thought he had just gotten a new pair of glasses and a perm.
September 26th, 2008 at 7:41 am
There is no doubt Obama is behind your troll attacks. Just look at his plan for the economy.
September 26th, 2008 at 9:42 am
I am new, I like Romney, I don’t like McCain and was going to vote for Bob Barr… that is until Palin came along. I voted for Thompson in the caucuses. I am only voting for McCain because of Pailin.
I visit this site and send it to others because Frank J is just so funny and I learn more from his comments than from the MSM “news”. BUT, thou shall not speek baddly of fellow conservatives… unless they are RINOs then its open season. I would vote for Romney if he had been chosen but not even he would have made me vote for McCain if he had been the VP. Long live the GOP conservative right-wing religious nuts that I am proudly part of.
September 26th, 2008 at 9:46 am
There is nothing Obama can do that will keep me from running for President in 2024.
Furthermore, I expect to run against him then.
