Daily Rage Against the Machine Lyrics

Posted by Frank J. on October 1, 2008 at 9:33 am

NOTE: To get the full of effect of Rage Against the Machine lyrics, imagine an angry thirteen-year-old shouting them as that’s a good analog for the lead singer.

Those who died are justified, for wearing the badge and your chosen whites
You justify those that died by wearing the badge and your chosen whites
Those who died are justified, for wearing the badge and your chosen whites
You justify those that died by wearing the badge and your chosen whites
Come on!

That song is hell of fun on Guitar Hero.

    Uh, that’s it.

Those who died are justified, for wearing the “O”
    and you’re killing whitey
You justify those that died by wearing the “O”
    and you’re killing whitey

    and you’re killing whitey

    and you’re killing whitey
    Come on!

The band is good. That is why Audioslave is so much better than ratm. It has the band without the idiot frontman Zach De La Rocha….

  5. Corona says:

Who? This is why I listen to Classical music. No ahole lyrics.

  6. CiDhed says:

Rick Wakeman is the closest I get to classical. I am a youngin’ though.

One would think, given the lyrics we’ve seen thus far, that this “Rage Against The Machine” group is angry about something. It seems a tad too subtle though. If only they’d make their paranoid, victimization anthems more overt, I’m sure all the world would just turn right into the MFL muckadoos that Rage seems to want us to be. But damn their subtlety and sublime metaphors. They are just too damned smart and erudite for we Conservatives to understand.

Some more badass dirty old school lyrics:

    Started out this morning
    feeling so polite
I always though a fish could not be caught
    who wouldn’t bite
But you’ve got some bait a
waitin’ and I think I might try nibbling
    a little afternoon delight.

  9. CiaoBella says:

Reads like a Starbucks fueled hissy fit to me…because let’s be honest, the most relevant thing RATM has to be rattled about is having their foamy latte with cow’s milk rather than soy.

It’s one of many reasons that I listen to classical music, as well.

Why are you doing this, Frank? There are LOTS of people who’ve written good lyrics: Ira Gershwin, Lorenz Hart, Cole Porter, Dorothy Fields, Oscar Hammerstein II, and Alan Jay Lerner come to mind, and none of them is more than remotely associated with classical music.

  11. sixpckr says:

Damn you, Son of Bob, now I can’t get that stupid song outta my head!! Make it STOP!!

  12. Jimmy says:

Silicon, I think Frank is reminding us of the left’s loonacy as expressed in poetry and lyrics. But then, I’m probably wrong. Who really knows what motivates Frank? Cheeseburgers for lunch?

  13. Mateo R says:

Is the limey back again? Ahh how glorious those days were.

  14. Son of Bob says:

    sixpckr,

I just wonder why our government hasn’t tapped into the powers of that song. Forget waterboarding, an hour or two of Afternoon Delight, with the threat of more to follow, and your questions will be answered.
