I was high-fiving my Ladybug when Ayers and ACORN came up, but I wish he’d nailed him on the Fannie Mae stuff.

You have to listen to him closely. He thinks we should bale out the auto companies, but only if they make obamamobiles.

I work for an auto company. We haven’t been dragging our heels. Japan’s subsidies are what put them ahead, I believe. I could be wrong. I do know that we couldn’t sell our previous Electric car and haven’t really been in a position to mass manufacture a loss leader like the Prius.

THat being said, pretty much every politician including President Bush talks out their ass when they discuss the auto industry.

This year is seeing a drop in temperatures, and years ago, when we had a hot streak, interestingly enough, Mars warmed at the same rate. I guess Martians are driving SUV’s and have polluting industry as well. If you look at recorded temperatures, the highs were in the early part of the 20th century, before cars were mass produced and only a handful of countries were industrialized. Anyone who does the most basic (honest) research can find that temperatures go in cycles and are most directly linked to the sun’s activity. In fact, here in Sparks, it dropped “global warming” all Friday…we usually don’t start getting it until on or just after Halloween.

“Earlier McCain was talking about Obama “raising taxes on the middle class.” Just another smear from a desperate, scared man…” Do I have to list all the desperate attacks (at nausea), mostly fabricated, that came come from “the messiah?” I listen to talk radio most of the day, and I happen to hear Osam…I mean Obama ads nearly 10 to 1 over McCain, all of them smear tactics.

Sorry to break it to you dude, but the magic no taxes fairy doesn’t come along when you form a corporation and absolve you of taxes.

Joe the plumber would most likely become an S-corp (the most attractive form of corps. for businesses earning around 250,000), which means that the income (or loss) from would be reported on corporate tax returns, flow through to his personal returns, then Joe would pay any taxes on that income. No magic and no getting around paying the tax. There are ways to play with the income so that the corporate taxes show no profit, but the business owner has the burden of paying the taxes on that income either way.

Hose – next time try explaining something you have more experience and knowledge in – perhaps in nose picking or killer bong hits.

You can leave the ‘splanin of the finer points of corporations to those of us who have actually worked for a living and worked our asses off to start and run small businesses.

McCain didn’t gain ONE SINGLE voter from these debates. He lost voters if you ask me. He’d have been better off not going.
