Haven’t We ALL Had This Fantasy?

A front row seat, a fist full of singles, and Sarah Palin wearing nothing but high heels and a smile.

*sigh*
October 13th, 2008 at 10:48 pm
Well, perhaps,
but that doesn’t make it appropriate.
October 13th, 2008 at 10:50 pm
No, I actually love Sarah as a smart sister. Anything less is Democrat.
October 13th, 2008 at 10:54 pm
Sorry, but not all of us have had THAT fantasy. We’ve had other fantasies but not starring Sarah.
Since we’re on the subject however we conservative ladies could use a Vigo Mortensen, Orlando Bloom, (lovely, but with brains and common sense) style of candidate. After all fair is fair.
October 13th, 2008 at 11:47 pm
Orlando Bloom? Meh. How about a conservative Russell Crowe? A svelte, Gladiator-era Russell Crowe, not chubby Russell Crowe. Yes please.

Although she would be the best looking VP we’ve had so far, she is a bit out of my age bracket, and therefore ‘sags’ a bit too much for my tastes.
‘sides, my fantasy is her in the oval office vetoing crappy bills with her moose gun.
October 14th, 2008 at 12:59 am
Yes Rubeus, unfortunately the dreaded sag happens to all of as we get older – both sexes. Ain’t gravity a you-know-what? My hubby says I still look like I did in high school despite birthing and nursing a bunch of kiddos. Such a sweetheart, that one.
Anyhoo I think Sarah is one fabulous mommy too – but my only fantasy involving her would look like the scene in Rocky III where Rocco finally takes down Clubber Lang for good (only it’s Barricuda and Obie). Either that or her taking him out in a “charity” arm wrestle “for fun” that gets personal, goes horribly wrong, and turns bloody.
I’m really not a violent woman. It’s the stolen yard sign thing again. It’s bugging me.
Oh and ditto on the conservative Russell Crowe. I just wish he spoke with an American accent or southern twang or something. I dig American guys.

I love Sarah

But America doesn’t *feel* tardy

Reminds me of a shot from “Better off Dead”. I think the MSM has a subliminal message there.

Two Items:
1) Technical: Ever since the site was updated, the left menu/ad bar covers up the articles in my browser, IE6
2) Funny: Check out the following interview with Obama supporters in Harlem. I could not stop laughing.

Not a Russel Crowe fan. His personal behavior is a bit over the top for me. Too much love’m and leave’m in his past. But to each his own. I guess we do have Tom Selleck and I wouldn’t kick him out of bed for eating crackers. What’s not to like there.

I’m with you on Orlando, he’s adorable. But I do kind of like Johnny Depp (of course we are speakin of only of looks, not of ideas) especially in his little pirate costume. I’m a procuct of the 80′s so it kind of reminds me of Adam Ant. But I digress…
Unfortunately, about one second after I decide a star is hot, they open their mouths and I have to write them off (ie Pitt, Clooney, et al) Funny how you get older, it takes more than a pretty face to excite.

re: the Stern clip: Geez…people should have to take a quiz before they vote! Talk about sheep! (of course those people probably have no idea when election day is)
October 14th, 2008 at 2:09 pm
I doubt Frank has had that fantasy – his Sarah is 15 years younger. Lucky bast….
I respect Palin too much to go there. Then again, if I woke up tomorrow next to her clone, I’d only leave the house for food and coffee. And then I’d buy it in bulk so as not to leave the house so darn often. Oh, and bath oil. Can’t forget the bath oil.

“I guess we do have Tom Selleck and I wouldn’t kick him out of bed for eating crackers. What’s not to like there.”
hahahahahahaha. Good point Seanmahair! Kids and I recently watched the old “Ten Commandments” and I have to say – young Charlton was very handsome!!!
Yeah Russell Crowe IS a jerk. Johnny Depp is cute but too skinny. And his mouth ruins everything. Isn’t he the one who lives in France and hates America?
To be honest I couldn’t really think of anyone until someone mentioned the Gladiator!
Pammy I, too, am an 80′s girl. Adam Ant….ohmygoodness he was fun! I used to have Bruce Springsteen’s pic up in my locker. Oh and Prince. Neither of which are at all appealing to me right now! I can’t say I got much better in the 90′s following Eddie Vedder around to every Chicago area concert. In my defense, I am almost positive I was attracted to all of the above’s music, not them.

I can honestly say that I have never fantasized about anything like this even once.

Ladies! What about Todd Palin?
October 15th, 2008 at 9:39 am
There is NOTHING wrong with Todd. He’s a cutie. I guess I haven’t seen him enough to have him on the radar.
Harvey, you’re right, and my 6 kids would attest to that. I like men, I think they’re grand, with one qualifier. Real men, who know who they are what they want and what they are responsible for. For me masculinity is not simply a matter of gender but a matching of spirit, mind and body. Hence why I’m very particular about my “fantasy men”.
My favorite subject of them, the sweet spouse, 31 years and he’s “Still the One”.
October 15th, 2008 at 2:55 pm
hahahahahahahahahaha – Harvey you’re a riot! I would imagine you’re right on, too!
Hi 4 – I think Todd is swell – good one! He’s quite the manly man (my sister always did say I like the lumber-jack type.)
Seanmahair – me, too. I’ve been with my hubby since we were 16. I tell him all the time (in my Sarah voice) that he’s “still my guy.”
