Some people say Obama isn’t a Patriot.

I say he is.

Because he’s going to win every match-up this year except for the one at the end.

Harvey, I don’t understand this post at all. First of all, he hasn’t won every match-up this year, unlike those Super Bowl-losing New England Patriots you love so much (oh, come on, you know you do!). Plus, your logic implies that ‘winning’ is equivalent to Patriot-ism. They’re disproving that this year which makes your reasoning ‘archaic.’

I think you just wanted to kick-off (ha!) a conversation on this Saturday morning. I’m game.

Jimmy – I’ll just say this post was inspired by the fact that, since Obama’s nomination – pretty much every single poll, from every single MSM source, every single day, shows Obama ahead.

So, like the Patriots, they win everything and lose the championship. In Obama’s case, it’s like losing in the 4th quarter in the last minute of the game on a McCain field goal. I sure hope you’re right, Harvey.

I think a lot of us have been worrying about what could go even more wrong if he wins – more wrong than bailing out the auto industry, nationalizing the mortgage industry, insurance companies, and banks, that is. It’s amazing how Bush and Congress have already set the table for Obama and the epoch of American socialism.

Question: If ‘democracy’ kills its own Republic, are there no other choices?

Good job “harvey”, and two in a row at that. Keep it up and Frank will give you back your upper case H. Also, remember that if Obama loses, the poor and downtrodden will lose the P-a-t and just go with the R-I-O-T.

That was so awesome earlier this year, watching the Giants pull off one of the biggest upsets in superbowl history. It would be even awesomer to watch McCain pull off one of the biggest upsets in Presidential history. Cause there will be so many more whiny Obama fans to make fun of than there are Patriot fans.

Maybe Obama is going to model his “redistribution of wealth” after the NFL’s revenue sharing policy. My fear is that this will lead to the United States becoming the Cincinnati Bengals of the industrialized world.
