Along those same lines I’ve always thought that any Lawyer who is elected to Legislative office should have to be removed from the Bar for life. To be able to write the laws and then turn around and make your living from those laws you authored is a HUGE conflict of interest to me. Anyone else?

Any objective research will show you that we can indeed call the Iraq campaign a success. It’s indisputable that Iraq is in a far, far better place than it was under Saddam Hussein, and barring any kind of numbskull moves by Obama it will continue to succeed. Yes, there is plenty that can go wrong still, most of it coming from Iran and Syria coupled with pansy liberals in our federal government, but as long as we don’t skedaddle willy-nilly, that danger is far less than it could be.
