I do hope everyone had a bountiful Thanksgiving surrounded by good food, good friends and family, and lots of laughter.

#2… no, thank YOU! As much as we abhor the termination of young lives unfulfilled, the thought that 80-90% of them were little potential liberal voters makes the pain almost bearable. Just keep moving forward and you can move closer to self extinction.

I don’t consider Obama to be ‘the One’, he’s more like ‘the zero’ to me.

And I’m pretty sure seanmahair was responding to the commenter that said they thought I was writing an Obama theme song.

Hmmm – not sure why this poem would make seanmahair think this person has a sad life? Help me out – was I to assume that for this poem was about “the one obama”?
Even then, feel sorry?
I guess it was too much to think that for the Thanksgiving time this was actually a poem giving Thanks?

I’m sorry to say, reading this a couple days after Thanksgiving, that I thought this was the Obama followers’ theme song, written to the One Himself. If you had Hollywood B-list celebs quoting this in front of a white backdrop, while groovy music played in the background, you could really have created a nice commercial for him.

Thanks for posting such a relevant poem, it will be on my mind the rest of the day (in a good way).

Even though things have been looking very bad politically, there is still hope. And even when there isnt any, it will pop up when we least expect it.
