The one thing I think the government does better than anyone/anything else is get bigger faster….except for maybe a few unnamed celebrities….

  3. Brian The Adequate says:

Considering that the military is technically part of the federal government I would have to go with:

    “Breaking things and killing foreigners”

As for the REST of the federal government, bah not so much.

Waste money faster than a virgin in a strip club…and with the same results.

Politicizing our money and businesses at an alarming rate. It’s their “last frontier.”

With bigger government, they can insinuate themselves into your private life better than the most savvy cyber-hacker. And it’s legal because they said so.

Big Gov: Making you a better person, whether you like it or not.

Big government has created the dramatic demand for guns and ammo. Now that’s CHANGE I can believe in.

    They’ve got welfare figured out!

I directly attribute the fall of the RNC with their uncontrolled sprawl of Government. The only way I see the RNC ever reclaiming power is if they shift Right.

So in a weird sort of way I could argue that the drunken expansion of government will now make the Republicans, act like Republicans.

Bail out Wall Street The Big 3 ACORN everyone they get donations from in a timelier manner?

  11. Silicon Valley Jim says:

Take my money. They’re very good at that, and they get better every year.

  12. Jimmy says:

If they were a business, they’d already be bankrupt and gone.

I say let them go bankrupt and be gone. We can start over.

Tax tax tax! What happens when all the “rich” people get taxed to death? Who’s next…… those on welfare?

Unlawfully gain power. It’s gotten incredibly good at that…and what we’ve seen to date will pale in comparison to the ego-driven mastery of the art Obama will perform.

Get us all in hock to the Chinks and A-rabs. Hell, I couldn’t get myself in deeper if I drove a Hummer to every Sum Dum Phuc for breakfast, lunch and dinner!

They know the rules better only so they can break them more.

  17. Adam Mk 1 Mod 0 says:

In the words of H. L. Mencken:

    “looting A to satisfy B.”

  18. Ernie Loco says:

They’re getting better at magic: they can make money appear out of thin air, to the tune of $700 billion. Then, they make it disappear even faster. Poof! Where’d it go?

  19. Kermit says:

    Killing frogs.

Look at Minnesota’s senate race and repeat the words of the great Hugh Hewitt: “If it’s not close, they can’t cheat.”

Looks like Saxby is running away with it…

It screws things up better than anyone and everyone put together. ;D

    Sure, the bigger it gets,
    the better it gets
    at getting bigger !

  24. 4 of 7 says:

    even remotely better

    Even remotely better than what?

“Every man is equally entitled to protection by law; but when the laws undertake to add artificial distinctions, to grant titles, gratuities, and exclusive privileges, to make the rich richer and the potent more powerful, the humble members of society – the farmers, mechanics, and laborers – who have neither the time nor the means of securing like favors to themselves, have a right to complain of the injustice of their government.”

    - Andrew Jackson, Veto of the Bank Bill, July 10, 1832.

  25. Mitch Rapp says:

    Defy logic.

That’s what the government does better every year it grows bigger.

Treasure Secretary Susan Collins said “many questions remain about how the government would ensure that mortgages and mortgage-backed securities are carefully appraised so that taxpayers do not overpay or, worse yet, stand liable for debts used to purchase virtually worthless assets.”

Translation: We need to make sure we don’t overpay for truly worthless assets.

Now, if I could only figure out how to bump off the liberals in office without committing a crime.
