Conservative Cultural Victories Watch
A number of Obama’s own people said Obama was going to be “Reaganesque” in his speech last night. For reference, a Democrat during the eighties saying he wanted to be Reaganesque would be equivalent to a Democrat today saying he wanted to be “Dubyaesque.”

Considering how much of our money he wants to take I’d describe him more as Faganesque.

No, the one that was Reaganesque last night was Jindal
Reagan never said anything like “The time of reckoning is near”. Or talked down America like he did last night. Sure, if he lost his teleprompter, it would have been less eloquent “My fellow Americans…… errr, America BAD! Urrrr… need….. um, socialism! Make better!”

Couldn’t all those Dems comparing Obamuhhh to Reagan be considered to be making threats against Obamuhhh’s life? I think the Secret Service needs to round them all up.
And if they’re all “shot while trying to escape….” Well, I don’t have a problem with that.

In Obama America, Reagan was actually a socialist. Get with the program, Frank.

Obama’s economic team must be the same one that came up with the underpants gnomes business plan.
Phase 1: Spend trillions we dont have.
Phase 2: ?
Phase 3: Recovery!

I thought it was funny how That One said something along the lines of “I know that every one sitting here loves America.” Of course, he was standing. Take from that what you will. I know how I’m taking it.

LOL #6. The sad part is that 52% of
AmericansHumans in America that voted for TheO no doubt missed the irony. Thanks for the wrap-up, all, and for taking an O’Bullet for me. Glad I didn’t miss anything by deliberately NOT watching boobtube last night.

I still prefer more entertaining cultural victories that don’t contain Obama – mainly ’24′.

I absolutly agree that comparing that one to any great American President is offensive. jimmy carter may end up being a better president than that one.
I do agree on one thing, America will recover. after this bone head and his dictatorial minions are removed from office.

Norman Mattoon Thomas (November 20, 1884 December 19, 1968) was a leading American socialist, pacifist, and six-time presidential candidate for the Socialist Party of America . Norman Thomas, said this in a 1944 speech:
“The American people will never knowingly adopt socialism. But, under the name of “liberalism,” they will adopt every fragment of the socialist program, until one day America will be a socialist nation, without knowing how it happened.”
He went on to say: “I no longer need to run as a Presidential Candidate for the Socialist Party. The Democrat Party has adopted our platform.”
“The problem with socialism is that you eventually run out of other people’s money.” Margaret Thatcher

I’m assuming that the Dems were also giving him a standing ovation at the time he said that.

There were many Reaganesqe moments in THE OBAMA’S speach. THE OBAMA wore a suit– Reagan always wore suits, THE OBAMA used words in his speach– Reagan always used words for his speaches. It’s creeping me out how simmilar they are.

…actually, more Stalinesque.
February 25th, 2009 at 11:58 pm
#15 Son of Bob, It is eerie, Stalin looked like Geppeto the organ grinder, and that one looks like a monkey beggen for coinage.

I dunno. I though he sounded more Wilsonesque, what with the threats to “hold accountable” everyone who doesn’t fall in line, lo these last few mismanaged weeks.
