What’s it supposed to mean? That as political expediency increases, Tired 70’s Leftism increases in whatever the red line represents, but decreases in whatever the blue line represents? What do the lines represent? If we take the colors by their political meaning, does it mean that Republicans get more liberal while Democrats get less liberal as political expediency increases?

  3. jks says:

The blue line is “Tired 70s Leftism” and the red line is “Political Expedience”. As the leftyism decreases (blue line goes down), most stuff gets done (red line goes up). The X and Y axis do not correspond to both lines, which is why they are labeled with the names.

I would have thought Pelosonmics would have hit on the upper left hand side where political expediency was at its lowest. This graph is incorrect.

  5. Jimmy says:

The red line is Republican, the blue line is Democrat.

When Republicans are at their best, they’re neither leftist nor expedient and base their actions on principle (i.e., the Constitution)

When Democrats are at there best, they are most expedient as they give up leftist philosophy in order to make things work.

    Makes perfect sense.

  6. Plentyobailouts says:

The blue line indicates the economy while under leftists control, the red line is gubmunt control and the deficit. Where the 2 intersect is the place where, when the shemonster from san frank sico has her forehead there, you put the crosshairs on it.

I’ll vote for the first person called to testify before Bawney Fwank who has the guts to ask, “Have you no sense of decency, sir, at long last? Have you left no sense of decency?”
