More Racism

Some people have gotten up in arms about Chia Obama, and I guess I’m still kinda racism ignorant because it took me a while to figure out why. I guess because basically you’re growing an afro on him, and it’s a little racist to see a black man and say, “Hey, let’s put an afro on him.” IMAO would never do such a thing.

   Now, clearly I haven’t studied this issue as carefully as you have, Harvey, but a point begs to be made.

   There are enough people in the world that for at least one person, Chia Obama is the one issue that made them decide that Obama is receiving hate-filled racist abuse by the American public.

   Wrap your head around that one.

   For those of you WITHOUT a green thumb, you can just glue some steel wool on the Chia Obama. I plan to water mine since I have great luck with vegetables with brown food coloring added.

   Can’t tell if Chia O-bah-muhh has that mole on the side of his nose, the skin tone isn’t quite right, and the obvious green ‘fro are just a few reasons not to spend money on it. The steel wool idea is good though.

   On closer observation, Chia Obama looks stoned, with the squinty eyes and all. Maybe it’s more accurate than we think?

    It’s just like any other Chia pet, except once you invite the Chia Obama into your house instead of just sitting there growing sprouts, it also destroys your life. Just like the real Obama.

    The makers of Chia Pet could have done a service to the consumers:

    Instead of “Chia Obama”, they could’ve called it “The deficit-inflating Obama”, as illustrated by the plant growth on the hollow head.

    Too bad the new deficit grows faster & produces less. But hey- at least it’s green!
