Twitter Feedback
I do keep modifying IMAO to help make it better, so if you don’t like this Twitter stuff, be sure and tell me. You’ll have to do it through Twitter, though, because that’s all I pay attention to.

I Twitter all the time (I’m a marketing consultant) but reading a stream of Tweets on a blog is exhausting. Kind of like an 800 word Ann Counter column is great fun. A 300 page collection of Ann Coulter columns is too much.
Just my vote – I visit your site several times a day. It’s a great bit of fun between tasks, but reading a list of Tweets isn’t as much fun.

I’m against Twitter just on general principles…if we continue to use technologies developed by long-hair nutjobs out in the Valley, they win.
And no, I don’t appreciate the irony.

James is right. I vote to not force us to twit. or tweet. or read the weary transcript thereof.
I’m not cool enuf for Twitter, but it’s not as funny on a blog that you only have a couple of minutes to read…
No offense…just lose it.

I agree with the too much part. Maybe just some of the best Twits/Tweets/Twats instead would be better.
[Then I'll have to do it instead of letting the TwitterTools do it for me. Still, probably the better idea. -Ed.]

This twittermania must not consume EVEN ONE SECOND of time that you could be devoting to your 3D game project. Period.
April 17th, 2009 at 6:29 pm
Maybe a ‘best of’ for twitter, then?
April 17th, 2009 at 6:33 pm
Twitter dee, twitter dum, I’m all a twitter about not knowing what the twitter a twitterer is!
April 17th, 2009 at 6:35 pm
Twitter me this, WTH are you talking about? Obviously I’m out of my twittering mind!
April 17th, 2009 at 7:13 pm
Here, Twitter on this!
April 17th, 2009 at 7:28 pm
lose it. twitter sucks. Or only give us the absolute most mundane tweets
April 17th, 2009 at 7:55 pm
I think the main problem people have with the Twitter stuff is the out-of-context replies to other Twitter people. Those of us who don’t use Twitter have no idea what you’re talking about in those.
The other, self-contained Twit-things are full of wisdom and sound observations, and should be continued.

In general, I don’t care that much. It’s your blog, afterall. But I still agree 100% with innominatus.

Why don’t you start a twitter account under the name Keith Olberman…just to see him lose his mind again, like he did when his own network started one for him and he thought it was a major FoxNews conspiracy. I heard they’ve since taken his down as a result, so it seems ripe for the picking.

Real men don’t twitter.
April 18th, 2009 at 12:26 am
He’s right. Real men bellow.

I agree. I look forward to movies featuring teleprompters gone self-aware.

I think that twitter is the perfect name for the froth and bubbles it produces. Here’s a question that just begs to be asked and because I’m old and techno phobic as well as stubborn and old (oh I forgot I said that already, silly me) I can get away with it. Does using twitter make someone a twit, or a nit twit or a twitterer?
Inquiring minds want to know.
(no offense meant, really)
April 18th, 2009 at 11:06 am
I don’t like this Twitter stuff, possibly because I’m a very-little-hair nutjob in the Valley.
April 18th, 2009 at 11:31 am
Oh, I just love trying to wrap my head about random sentences on someone’s Twitter page. It keeps me so involved with strangers. I’ve got nothing else to do anyway. (Horn sound.)
April 18th, 2009 at 4:10 pm
I say lose the Twitter-to-IMAO posts. I tried to read one and got lost in about 30 seconds, so I haven’t read one since.
April 18th, 2009 at 8:03 pm
Yeah .. Im not fweeling the whole “twitter” thing…myself so I dont read the random drivel when posted. Hey it your site do what YOU want …. but if it was me…… Well, the day I start to twitter will be the day I decide I really like Showtune’s, Rosie O’Ugly, and pastel colored clothing…… But you just be you Frank …thats whats really important here….. not how we fweel, but how you fweel. How does that statment make ou fweel Frank? Are you feeling empowered now?

You know you’ve got a problem when you come inside after being out in the spring sun all day and you load up IMAO and TerribleTroy makes you chuckle.
April 18th, 2009 at 9:06 pm
Twitter posts. They are as boring as boring gets short of a liberal blog. I skip over them because trying to decipher them a waste of time. No. A BIG FAT waste of time. Did I mention boring? Oh, yeah, I did. I’m so bored writing about you sharing your damned tweets that I fell asleep typing this.
April 18th, 2009 at 9:57 pm
So to sum up Twitter Posts are Dumb, Lame, Boring, Waste of time you could be using to be more entertaining, Did I mention boring?
April 19th, 2009 at 3:08 pm
That’ll teach you to spend too much time in the Sun Jimmy! Oh… and I guess Frank doesn’t “do” subtle hints as the page has been blessed with another post containing comments that make zero sense
April 19th, 2009 at 8:18 pm
I dont like this twitter crap now I will tell you that IMAO fans don’t like it on my twitter.
