Petition
Here’s an internet petition to free journalists Euna Lee and Laura Ling as there’s nothing a Communist dictator fears than an internet petition. Kim Jong Il never would have sentenced these women to hard labor on made up charges if he knew it would be unpopular with people on the internets.
I wonder if Obama has signed?

He is worried now. Ahmadinejad is next!

It’ll work if we just believe hard enough, and dig deep enough.

Moral equivalency, “we have no right to judge”, an “innocent relationship”, etc, etc.

Two women are stupid enough to go to work for Al Gore. They go to a part of the world in which they really don’t need to be to report “news” that no one will ever see on a network that no one watches. They get caught up in a completely predictable situation. Liberals and the mainstream media are both surprised and gravely concerned.
Meanwhile, a member of our military is gunned down within the US by a radical Muslim, and liberals and the mainstream media don’t care.
Hmm…tell why do I’m supposed to care about these stupid girls again?

I’d be more afraid of an internet petition than the slobbering mewls of impotence coming from the UN.

@Son of Bob
Actually, it would of been interesting to see a report from inside N. Korea, the Vice Guide to North Korea was fascinating ( http://www.vbs.tv/video.php?id=1438428757 ), but it only could show what the N. Korean government let them see for the most part.
Anyway, if the people who made the petition really cared about getting the reporters back they would petition the US Marines, (well, the US government) not North Korea.

Am I being a jerk here…I just can’t bring myself to grovel to the short guy in N Korea with a stupid petition!
June 9th, 2009 at 3:43 pm
You forgot some thing though… Al Gore “invented” the internet and these two worked for him…

Given what Il said about nuking anyone that tries to reduce the majesty or his nation, or some such, do you think thios Internet Petition could lead to Il whipping out his Dong and nuking Japan?
June 9th, 2009 at 4:29 pm
Can we still use the internet in order to piss Kim Jung Il into nuking Berkley?
June 9th, 2009 at 5:26 pm
There is nothing in that partition about giving algore to the north koreans, and keeping the girls. It the T*ts for twits swap.
What a win win, we get 2 bimbos and kim junk ill gets a nobel winning planter.
June 9th, 2009 at 5:42 pm
Maybe the women ARE guilty! Two women from Al Gore’s group spying for the United States? No one in the commie world would suspect them.
Actually, they must have been gathering global warming data in the rain forests along the Chinese – North Korean border – a perfectly reasonable place to do that. Al’s going there next week.
Besides, Obama would never sign it, Frank. Aren’t the women white?

You can start your own petition at that site! How about a petition to legalize private ownership of dinosaurs with laser cannons!

Kimmy wimmy doesn’t even know what the internet is. He doesn’t even know what day it is.
June 9th, 2009 at 8:42 pm
Can we petition him to let us send the ‘fab 5′ over there to do a Queer Eye makeover on Kim?

They wouldn’t accept my signature because I didn’t fill in the address blanks.
I get enough junk mail as it is.
Sorry, ladies.

How appropriate, an Internet Petition. Al Gore created the Internet. Al Gore employed the 2 women. I’m seeing a pattern here, however, I don’t think Kim Jong-Il will get the connection. Kim Jong-Il creates or saves Labor Camp Counselor jobs by detaining Al Gore’s journalists.

Stating the obvious:
It’s two women stuck over there in NK.
Hasn’t Bill Clinton already volunteered to go get them?

4 of 7,
For any email address, just put anyname@dodgit.com. Totally valid address without you ever needing to check it. Totally valid address, totally useless petition.

While invention of the internet by Algore is highly questionable it is common knowledge that he did invent global warming* and is making a bundle of money in the global warming trade. Sending him to North Korea is a good idea only if we can get Kim to keep him. *Global warming is a copyrighted term wholly owned by Algorecorp, all rights reserved, patent pending.
