What the What?

Posted by Frank J. on July 10, 2009 at 10:37 am

Anybody have any idea what this guy in the Hot Air comments is talking about?

What is it with crazy people and the internet? There are those tests that make you write some numbers or characters before posting to prove you’re a person; we need ones to prove you’re not crazy. Like you could put up a picture of a baby and ask, “What do you do with this?” If you answer “Cradle” you get to post, but if you answer “Eat” you’re redirected to a place that supplies your meds.

UPDATE:

He also tore Jim Treacher a new one… though I couldn’t quite follow what in the world he was talking about. He uses periods in a very unique way, though.

BTW, I really appreciate how all you IMAO commenters aren’t quite as loony as the commenters at lots of other sites. It means a lot to me.

Dude, not only do I not know what he his talking about- I don’t know that HE knows what he’s talking about.

  2. Browncoatone says:

Ug. That should be “is” not “his”

  3. Son of Bob says:

Frank, the tip-off was this line in one of his posts: “That’s if you let me “comment” ever again at IAMO. Free country, free speech and all right Frank.”

Anytime an idiot starts whining about “free speech” they prove their ignorance regarding the Constitution. And, if they have no basic understanding of the Constitution, how can they possibly debate anything regarding American politics?

For the record, within the Constitution - the document that grants the government its few legal powers (not a document granting us our rights, as our rights are already God-given and, as the document states, we are born with those rights and don’t need a document or government to grant them to us) - government is prohibited from bringing down its wrath on you for speech it disagrees with. However, if a private citizen wants to censor your speech there is no law preventing him or her from doing so. For example: if you work representing a private company and decide to say stupid things that embarrass that company, they can choose to fire you. That is not an invasion of your “free speech”. If you go to a privately-owned media source and your comments are edited or removed, that is also not an invasion of your “free speech”. Only in the case of congress making a law “abridging the freedom of speech” have your rights to “free speech” been infringed upon.

Of course, if Frank J removed comments he didn’t like it would still suck…I’m just sayin’

  4. cactusod says:

Hot Air has so many caveats on who & how & what you can post on his site…it’s like reading a bloviated legal proceeding. It’s just too much work to try and get through the threads on Hot Air.

I have banned myself from Hot Air! Don’t push me…I’m crazy!

  5. Dodsfall says:

It seems that he is complaining about his flaming insane posts being removed from the comment section of IMAO. Thanks for keeping a tidy comment section Frank.

  6. cactusod says:

Frankly, I’m more interested in that Evony elfin, sleepy, mongo chested female who keep inviting Lord Cactusod to play……

You don’t see HER on Hot Air, by gawd!

  7. Ringmaster says:

It was humorous because he seemed serious. That’s why I like your work Frank. Most political people (Right AND Left) are too uptight. Nutty really. It’s so holier than thou.

I think they take offense to the fact your blatant satire isn’t far off from their serious views, and it reminds them just how freaking nuts they are.

Or they escaped from Arkham. One of the deuce.

  8. MarkoMancuso says:

    That was awesome.

  9. Socrates H. Obummer says:

I think he’s mad that A) no one likes him and B), well, there really is no B.

But if there were, I think maybe the tipping point was when you attacked Sarah Palin by saying that she resigned from office. Since she only announced her intention to resign from office in a few days, that was clearly a direct, misogynist, personal attack on her worth as a human being.

  10. cjtony97 says:

This person makes some well reasoned and intriguing points. I believe that I too, shall refrain from visiting the IAMO weblog as well.

  11. Rubeus says:

Now I kinda want to see the comments he posted here.

[I didn't delete any comments from him! If they aren't here, they must have imploded on the weight of the crazy. -Ed.]

  12. Raving Lunatic says:

The man (assuming it’s a he) is obviously wrapped up in a plush blanket of self-pitying, crazy persecution complex. Frank would never censor this site. For example, I posted one time about how {redacted} and stuff. Or that time I blasted him & SarahK for {redacted} with pogo sticks. Or even that one time where I even felt I crossed a line and told about {redacted} after shaving the dog and {redacted}.

Dued really needs to take his meds before I {redacted}.

  13. Rubeus says:

Yeah, I just looked. Sure enough, there is a lot of crazy on the Random Thoughts posting: http://www.imao.us/index.php/2009/07/random-thoughts-48/

Seriously… wow. It’s like… he doesn’t understand that people are allowed to try to be funny.

  14. Ernie Loco says:

He’s still got nothing on the Limey.

  15. Master Shake says:

I think you should give his IP address to the North Koreans so they can inquire about his major malfunction.

    Or make his computer explode.

You just know he’s probably a filthy monkey-sympathizer, too!

  16. MarkoMancuso says:

I’ll admit, Ernie Loco, that I wish I had been here for Limey. The best troll we’ve had since I’ve been here was one nut (”Joe” and then some numbers - what a dumb name) who constantly defended Huckabee/accused everyone here of being racists planning on killing all the Mexicans.

  17. IH8Socialist says:

cactusod I’m with you on the sleepy mongo melon elvin Evony chick.

  18. urbuggeme says:

Americannodash… must either be keith Olbermann or Ray Charles Maddow

  19. Ian says:

Congrats it took 7 years to find a really crazy blog-stalker. Every celebrity needs one.

  20. Hammy says:

I just read all the “Limey” posts and I must say I’m sad I missed them the first time. Comedic gold. Grats on you Frank for seven years.

  21. Ussjimmycarter says:

I too am self banned from Hot Air! I became tired of the tedious and inane anti-God screeds! Atheism is too simple for me and Christians are unwelcome on this site… I’d rather spend my time having fun than dialogging with stuck on stoopid…

    Ed, Frank J.—-

Sorry Frank I mixed up the dates.
    .
I’m not crazy. I found my error.

IMAO posted JULY 9 8:36 AM
    .
I will apoligze for mixing up the dates of IMAO RANDOM THOUGHTS of July 8 8:36 AM and July 9 8:36 AM.
    .
All of those people wishing me ill will here and at IMAO can just relax and take a breath. I am man enough to admit when I am wrong. I want to be clear that what set me off was your opinion of Sarah Palin after her resignation. I don’t agree with those who think her political career is over. I decided to give IMAO some of his own medicine by the following:
    .
Who are you kidding, random thoughts? That is mostly what I see at this site. Being called a satirist clearly suits you Frank. A satirist is the adult version of a smart ass kid who is now getting paid to make fun of people, places or things. Congratulations Frank you haven’t changed a bit except for the money part. Keep on delivering those zingers. Somebody will surely pay for them literally if not figuratively.
    .
From that remark to Frank J. I was responded to by Frank’s loyal commenters. Then I responded to those commenters in kind.
    .
So here is where we are at now. Me apologizing to you Frank.
    .
Ed, I note to you a remark on top referencing a statement that referred to “imploded on the weight of the crazy.” If I am taken to be crazy by you, then perhaps I should accept that or maybe it is the fact that I am a little more concerned about Sarah Palin’s future than you are. I’ll take your quip under advisement. I am a rational man Ed and hopefully you will change your mind someday and agree with my reasoning for supporting conservatism.

  23. IllinoisConservative says:

OMG, the latest reply (12:45) is the best. He takes the comment posted by -Ed[itor] and replies as if he is talking to some guy named Ed. That is some full-blown, squirrel-feeding, monkey-petting crazy right there.

  24. Ussjimmycarter says:

Sure, Marco! A guy get’s shunned and all of a sudden his lips make a giant smacking sound as they leave Frank’s Ass

  25. Basil says:

Wait. Did you call Frank an adult?

  26. Ringmaster says:

We have to make the guise that Frank’s an adult, or SarahK get’s hauled off in handcuffs Letourneau style…

  27. Joey says:

I’m scared. Are there actually people like that in the real world? If so, when I get home I’m locking the doors and never leaving.

  28. storm1911 says:

This all sounds like a commenter has a personal problem. Last time I encountered this was a Pon Raul fan. (Trying to avoid the Pon Raul trolls.)

  29. IH8Socialist says:

methinks the commenter everyone is talking about is nuttier than a squirrel turd.

  30. Thomas says:

Be easy on him, after all he is an American (no dash), just an American. Singular. IYKWIMAITTYD.

  31. International Squirrel Turd Anti-defamation League says:

IH8Socialist, we strongly deplore your ignorant attempt to associate squirrel turds in with this loon.

  32. International Loon Anti-defamation League says:

International Squirrel Turd Anti-defamation League, we abhor your associating us with this deranged commenter.

  33. International Deranged Commenter Anti-defamation League says:

OK, I’m not even amusing myself at this point….

  34. Jack Deth says:

    Congrats on seven years, Frank!

I’ve been following this site since you were a little space monkey.

    Jack.

  35. Chuck says:

Hey wait…I hate that Ed guy too. He’s a dick, and I don’t know why FJ puts up with him.

  36. AR says:

My brain hurts, but I think I understand what the crazy guy is trying to say… Apparently he thought Frank J. deleted his comment, but was mistaken?

  37. Plentyobailouts says:

Okay I just want to go on record that I shunned #16 and every other post Markomancuso, and now he has let slip the ploy of us wanting to kill all of the mexicans. That said, is this fruitball nodash? have nothing better to do than to rant like a ron paul supporter about Sarah “TEH Goddess” Palin?

Maybe we can dress him up like a baby deer and introduce him to Mrs. Richardson.

  38. Plentyobailouts says:

Oh an oh yeah! FIRST! or 34Th or a 40th!!

  39. midwestconservative says:

Using Franks test at least half of the commentators and Frank himself would be redirected to get their meds

  40. Carolynp says:

    Grats on seven years!
On a related note, have you ever noticed that people worth having a conversation with never object to being called crazy? You get into a heated discussion and say, “You’re crazy.” and cool people always pause for a sec and then say, “Point taken…” and go back to the conversation. It’s only creeps that it seems to bother. I’m thinking that will be my new test for chit chat.

  41. Obamaaintmymama says:

Holy cow. It appears as if the Pelosi mind control ray has some bad algorithms.

Thanks Frank — I made a mistake, apoligized for it and still the insults and condescending comments continues. You must be very proud of youself and your associates. Who really are the crazy ones here?

  43. Americannodash says:

    *yourself

  44. AR says:

Does it understand why we call it crazy?

  45. MikeLL says:

    “*yourself”

LOL. I think the crazy is getting angry.

  46. MikeLL says:

Hmmmm. . . I think it is a crazy liberal pretending to be conservative.

Take this, for example: “It is truth to power thing Frank.”

Only liberals say stupid stuff like “Truth-to-power, dude.” They think it makes them sound smart.

I rest my case, your honor.

Frank was talking about me. You think it’s always about you, don’t you? You’re so vain, you probably think this comment is about you. It’s not. It’s actually about MarkoMancuso.

  48. cjtony97 says:

Who really are the crazy ones here?

Not me, I have this. *holds up certificate stamped “Not Insane”*

  49. MarkoMancuso says:

For the record, I would just like to state that I am not, nor have I ever been dash of America or whatever it calls itself. Plentyobailouts, your attack on my good name was totally unreasonable.

When I pretend to be a troll, I usually fail as I cannot quite capture the essence of a troll. I don’t know if I’ve ever seen a troll like this thing. It posts a screed that leaves me shaking my head and wondering what its point was. It’s just a bunch of noises, signifying nothing. I don’t…I just don’t understand it.

Frank was talking about me. You think it’s always about you, don’t you? You’re so vain, you probably think this comment is about you. It’s not. It’s actually about MarkoMancuso.

    Compliment?

  50. TerribleTroy says:

Hmmm…….. “Your so Vain, I bet you think this post is about you.” Im thinking that phrase has some potential……

  51. 209 says:

    Frank-

I too am mad at you.

    period

The fact that you said something about Sarah is even worse than your scheme to use dinosaurs as shock troops in your bid for global domination.

    period

    And I have rights.

    period

Wait… nevermind, the Clozapine kicked in. I suddenly can’t remember why I thought it was a good idea to vote for Obama.

    period

    Meh….

  52. midwestconservative says:

You all are proving my point in comment #39

  53. 209 says:

Yeah… but at least we’re honest enough to admit we need drug to combat the delusions. And when we get the dosage right, we understand what’s really going on.

  54. chip says:

    Ummm…

    Wait…

    Wut?

Which of you are the sane ones? And which side am I supporting? And when do the Dinosaurs start marching?

  55. Josh says:

In all fairness, the guy did admit that he misread the time stamps and apologize. Come on people, how often do people admit they are wrong in internet discussions? Perhaps people could afford to be a tad more charitable? Let he who is without any comments he later regretted cast the first stone.

  56. Dohtimes says:

There are two kinds of commenters. Those who make royal screw ups at least now and then and the ones we refer to as women. Fessing up and apologizing just keeps a man from being a total boob.

  57. adagioforstrings says:
