Normally I would be against mocking the recently dead, but common decency need not be wasted on that poor excuse for a human. He was the worst kind of weasel. May he roast in peace.

"I missed the funeral. Were they able to roll him back into the ocean, or did they have to use dynamite?"

I laughed like a dork when I read that line. You should really have the following posted prominently on your website - WARNING: Consuming beverages while reading IMAO can result in involuntary blowing of drinks out of one's nose!

Mary Jo Kopechne-Biden, the 'Liberal Lioness of the Senate', gave the eulogy at the funeral of Ted Kennedy, younger brother of John and Robert Kennedy, who finally died last week after laying in a coma for over 40 years after the tragic accident at Chappequidik.

According to Kopechne, Ted bravely shoved her out of his Oldsmobile seconds before it plunged into the cold, dark waters of Chappequidik pond, and although she quickly summoned help, by the time the rescuers were able to pull Kennedy from the car he'd already suffered irrepairable brain damage and never regained consciousness.

Mary Jo dedicated her life to public service in the mold of John and Bobby Kennedy, pragmatically supporting a strong military posture while working well with Republicans in the Senate on social issues and tax cuts, after being appointed to fill the remainder of Ted's term of office by the governor of Massechusetts in 1969.

Raacist! for hating Ted Kennedy? Would that be because Chris Matthews declared that O-bah-muhh is now 'the last Kennedy brother'? Raacist! for hating Ted Kennedy? Someone must be confusing Ted Kennedy with Navin Johnson("I was born a poor black child...")

If teddy boy was black you could play the race card, but he was a fat old white liberal commie doofus. People like that liberal commenter are proof of why we need natural selection.

Actually, the ABL (AirBorn Laser) uses three lasers, one to range the target, one to paint it with a targeting laser, and then finally a really big assed laser to shoot down the target with. Now, if they will just put tactical lasers on the F22 and F35 and bring a troop carried laser rifle, that would be sweet.

"Maybe we should name a term limits bill in honor of Ted Kennedy."

Brilliant...simply brilliant, Frank. How would one attempt to top this? If Republicans had some type of representatives in Congress, they would be presenting this exact scenario in response to Pelosi's health care comments.

Laser sights are good for a home defense situation. Especially when you consider that is such a situation, you will likely be firing at night in the dark.

Luminescent sights are also a good option, as is a pistol mounted flashlight. The last has the advantage that a good model will probably blind your opposition who will go from a dark environment to suddenly having his eyes lit up by a super bright light.

They blinded us with a flashlight in training, then had us stand on the pistol line, and fire as soon as we could make out the target. It was a long time from being blinded, until the time you were able to aim and fire.

With a flash light, remember to only turn it on for short flashes, and to move immediately away from where you had been standing, even in a home defense situations.

Get rich slow, I like that. My get rich slow program is also working just fine. Thanks to the spending of the previous, and current administrations, the future of my get rich slow program is looking better everyday. Especially when you consider the coming fiscal catastrophe this country is going to face due to major deficit spending with borrowed money. In fact the odd's are great that my get rich slow program may very well become a get poor fast program.

Now just blow them out of the water with a "get poor and dead fast" scheme like socialism. Now you'll have some takers.

We've got millions of farming peasants here in US doubt they know what socialism has always done to their group. Not to worry minorities will still be able to attend church after all if the proletariat wants religion it can have religion... after all prols and dogs are free. Its mind numbingly painful to realize the very people pushing for socialism will be the worst hit.

"Lots of conflicting opinions on laser sights on guns."

One of Murphy's laws of combat includes, tracers point both directions. Same goes for laser sights and barrel mounted flashligts!

[It would be for shooting someone really quickly in a dire self-defense situation, not for part of a sustained gunfight as part of invading a country. -Ed.]
