We don’t need dems.
We don’t need reps.
We need good people with common sense working in a term limited congress. Who are held responsible for their actions and who pay the same flat tax as the rest of us. They should use the same health care as us peons do to.

Well they are good for something……. they make OK targets… not great.. just OK….. most of em dont even run when you shoot at em. They just freeze…..self preservation isnt one of thier strong suits. But occasioally you get a “runner” and thats kinda fun…….

The first Democrat to become president was Andrew Jackson (1829-1837).
On one hand, he screwed over American Indians living east of the Mississippi River. (That ‘Trail of Tears’ thing).
On the other hand, he crushed the National Bank and paid off the national debt (by selling the land he stole from the Indians?).
I’m torn.
“The Battle of New Orleans” is a rousing, yet jingoistic ditty that makes Jackson seem like a great American hero; “Cherokee Nation”, on the other hand, always fires up my latent ‘white-guilt’.

13 Democratic presidents in all so far, and Jackson was the best of the lot. (imao)

War on Terror is fake like the war on drugs. The Taliban were never the same as Al Qaeda, and even targeting an entire group goes too far.

Yes….we should have Democrats. If for no other reason then to act as a foil for the Republicans. We need them to continue to act as comedy relief. Kind of like Gabby Hayes, Fuzzy Knight, Pat Buttram, or Gabby Johnson did for Ken Maynard, Bill Elliott, Gene Artery, and Sherriff Bart. Of course no more suits and ties for them, they’d have to wear the same grubby, dirty, beat up clothes and hats the classic comedy relief guys had to wear. No getting the good looking girl either, that would be left to the Republican’s. No more top billing on committees they would have to live with second banana status.On the other hand just chaining them up in a cold dank cellar would serve the same purpose.

It’s clearly all the stupid Democrats that screw everything up for the rest of us. Do you really think that if conservative Republicans were running the show those camel jockeys would have wanted to take flying lessons? Or that our economy would be imploding due to the government spending on bailouts and entitlement programs?

Agreed that no modern day Dem should ever be in a position of authority, but they actually control EVERYTHING right now.

I am very worried about what’s happening in on the home front and in Afghanastan/Iraq. This is no laughing matter. Afghanastan is ungovernable, with no tradition of civility. To boot, the POTUS does not really care about the middle-east and even seems willing to fumble the ball in Iraq.

Be nervous….be very nervous.
