Frank Advice for Life
While Link’s Quest was perhaps the least of the Legend of Zelda series, it had the best advice about life.

Bad link.

Fail.

Oh the link is good. Very good. The best advice I’ve ever heard and it coincides with everything I’ve learned from the Boy Scouts of America. Unofficially learned that is.

LMAO
frank, you fail
bad link, confusing writing.

Oh, this is as good as any time to say this. Screw you Frank J, if it wasn’t for you and your wife I would never have found that tvtropes.org site, and my life wouldn’t have been ruined. How many hours have I wasted on it? Its your fault!

I think you guys are missing the point.
Do not take life too seriously. You will never get out of it alive.
See? Frank is the Bard of Life.
Or something. Or whatever.

Frye Advice For Life
When attempting to be humorous on your own blog, post links that work.
(You guys think he’ll catch the hint?)

The link works on my computer. Do I need to spell it out? It is a scene from one of the Zelda games and Link is told “if all else fails, use fire.” I must be privileged or something to be the only one who can see it.
September 7th, 2009 at 8:44 pm
Yeah for whatever reason…when I try to follow the link, I end up at a jpeg image that says TV Tropes Wiki.

For those of you who are “Nintendo-deficient”, here is a link to the screenshot:

If Link is bad, why do I want his advice?
That’s why I don’t want my daughter attending Obama’s junior brownshirts pep rally tommorrow.
September 7th, 2009 at 10:54 pm
Yeah, that’s not Link’s Quest, that’s “Zelda II: The Adventure of Link”, which is actually pretty decent, if it were something other than a Zelda game. Also, the advice is very good, if you can actually see it (thanks Tim).
September 7th, 2009 at 10:56 pm
Wait, I just realized, Frank probably used a “bad link” to reinforce his opinion of Zelda II, which he thinks is bad, and features Link.
September 8th, 2009 at 1:05 am
Frank just hates Zelda 2 because his linking skills were personified in it.

Hmm… That gives me an idea…

I think we can all agree on this at least…

Lechteron, that was awesome.
September 8th, 2009 at 7:48 am
Maybe the advice Frank was giving was that if you always depend on others to provide an easy answer (a working link, in this example), you’ll sometimes be disappointed.
Or not,

@Another Brandon
bah, i liked it even as a zelda game, i also like that most people who complain about zelda being too easy, have never even beaten the first zelda 2 dungeon
@Lechteron
lol
