By the way, I could use some feedback.

I know that some of the more “cluttered” pictures I use aren’t up long enough to be completely digested. They’re kind of a blur, and details get missed. Does this subtract from the experience, or is it just part of the “zippy stream-of-consciousness fun”?

As the creator, I’m too familiar with the images to have a true feel for how they hit a first-time viewer.

A: it is just part of the “zippy stream-of-consciousness fun.”

  2. Peregrine John says:

I think it’s freakin’ hilarious, sometimes because they go by so fast. And hey, there’s always the rewind function.

  3. MarkoMancuso says:

    I agree with Deafdog.

  4. ColoradoRight says:

I think the stream of consciousness is really good. You get the reinforcement of the main idea. Great work

  5. Jimmy says:

They’re so good, Harvey (just the way they are) that I keep expecting them on Fred’s site, as well. You two really should strike a deal.

  6. Frank J. says:

Faster! Hold on one image more than half a second, and my attention starts to wander.

  7. sarahk says:

    Love.

  8. Steve says:

Not to be so agreeable, because it’s not my style, but….. Yeah, I think it’s good as-is.

  9. 5 of 7 says:

I watch it straight through, then watch it again with my cursor on the pause button so I can stop and enjoy the details.

  10. island girl says:

I disagree with Frank. Not everyone is as fast and clever, so I don’t think you should speed it up.

The 2nd half was my favorite.

  11. Mr_Write says:

    Pretty funny…4 out of 5!

  12. Oil Field Trash says:

Verily, verily I was amused. I rather like the speed. I can always go back if needed.

  13. NuckingFutz says:

Oh no, Harvey’s now calling himself “The Creator”. Must everyone try to pass himself off as some sort of supreme being these days?

  15. Harvey says:

(note to self: don’t capitalize T or C)

  16. Ian says:

nice, nice…… doing a great JOB keep it up

  17. Ernie Loco says:

I like them a lot, but I do sometimes feel that the images go by too quickly to really see them. I might be in favor of slowing some of them down a bit.

  18. IH8Socialist says:

love the illustrated version of the Lighting Round keepem coming…..

  19. Najin says:

I agree with the stream of consciousness fun, Don’t slow it down, it’s funnier when there’s so much we’re forced to hit pause.

  20. TimothyJ says:

Mouse poised over the pause button and ready to enjoy!

  21. penitentman says:

I love it just as it is. This is so awesome you should receive a Nobel prize for awesome. Wait, the prize for awesomeness has already been awarded. Will have to find another, equally awesome category for you to be awarded the Nobel prize in.

I say use fewer pictures—–if it’s too many, too fast, I end up having to pause it & go back over them—–my feedback is you don’t have to illustrate *every* word—-just use the best pics—–
