Who is Gore Vidal? All I know about him is he’s some weird degenerate who is trotted out every so often so we can admire what a weird degenerate he is.
And when are liberals going to look into their pro-rapist problem?

Vidal’s most famous moment was when Williams F. Buckley Jr. threatened to “sock him in the face” (see 0:50ish on the linked video).

Why must EVERYTHING be a “gay” thing? Mr. Vidal says, “an anti-Semitic and anti-fag thing…” in describing the “persecution” of Roman Polanski. So far as I have understood, Mr. Polanski wasn’t homosexual…simply had a little affection for …. um, … Youth.
As manifest: interesting tidbit from wikipedia (I know…not necessarily factual, but interesting nonetheless):
In 1976, Polanski started a romantic relationship with Nastassja Kinski, when she was 15 YEARS OLD and he was 43. In 1979, their relationship ended at the completion of filming Polanski’s Oscar nominated “Tess”, where Kinski had played the lead role.
Ere go, one might ask not only “when are liberals going to look into their pro-rapist problem” but also when are liberals going to look into their pedophilia problem?

And BTW, I’m sure if the 13 year old whom Mr. Polanski sodomized was a male, instead of a female, Mr. Vidal would choose a different term than “hooker”–probably something like “boyfriend.”

The Kennedys, Clinton, Polanski, Frank, and the rest of the democrat party seem to commit, or embrace, rape and abuse. The other libearls make excuses and/or defend it.
Who is Vidal? He sounds like a shampoo. He appears to be another liberal who proclaims he is famous and important, therefore he is. I’d like to see Fred Thompson mega punch him in his monkey face.

I remember the first time I heard the name Gore Vidal: Freshman year, some writing or lit type class. We had to read a piece of his and analyze it.
Whatever it was that I read of his, it made no sense to me at the time.
Now that I am older and wiser, I know why. What a prick. (I know, pretty harsh name calling from a nice girl like me)

Vidal is a wierdo fo shol. He is a prominent writer type and was pretty involved in politics for most of his life. His father was one of the founders of the Airline industry so he’s always been a richy rich.
Whats funny about the Buckly Vs vidal debate is how these two upper class guys try to get all blue collar. Pretty amusing. “I’m going to sock you in the face and you’re going to stay socked”.

#2. The story goes that Buckley felt bad about losing his temper like that and sent Vidal a crate of cashew butter. Vidal was so mollified that he didn’t write anything bad about Buckley for 6 months.

He’s an author that never wrote anything especially spectacular. He actually wrote most of the screen adaptation for Ben Hur (the one with Heston) but didn’t get any credit, probably because they didn’t abide the pro-rapist crowd back then. At least he used to have some sense about what happened in our stupid govt…

I don’t know what a Gore Vidal is but it looked like a zombie, or perhaps a well dressed ghoul. It was on tv and I had the sound off, but I thought it was on tv promoting halloween and what its like to be an aged vampire.
As far as the liberals pro-rape problem I do not see any easy solution. It is so deeply entrenched in their core fabric that nothing short of laser rifles will blast it out of their agendas.

Simple solution. Ask a person what they think of the Polanski situation. If they say anything that doesn’t amount to him being a filthy degenerate that needs to be sent to his eternal reward of pitchforks and being treated like that 13 year-old girl with Satan’s thorned C***, then a simple FMJ through the roof of the mouth is the solution. That’ll change minds real fast. I mean, what can they cry discrimination on? Being Pro-Rape? That’ll sell in “Fly-over” country. It’ll also bring the debased base of the Democrat party out of the shadows and into the crosshairs. I wanted the pink mist!
