The only thing more hurtful to MeggieMac than fat jokes is not talking about her at all.
I think this balloon boy stunt was all just some scheme to distract Superman while some major crime went down.
Right now it’s looking like if Obama had put Ayers and Wright on his staff, that would make it more centrist.

I lost much respect for McCain after he ran a hare-brained, denouncing, “campaign”.
Now I just wish he would make his daughter stop talking.

Boy, first the boy president now the loser’s loser daughter. This is apparently the era in which people who’ve never had a job in their lives are constantly given platforms to share their “worldly” advice.

Superman may have had his hands full. it seems the Balloon boy’s father has discovered that Hillary Clinton is an alien space lizard in disguise. It’s on the youtubes. Superman and Doctor Who had a real fight on their hands.

I think that this balloon boy stunt was just a diversion while they hid the Space Ship that carried Balloon Boy from his doomed home planet, Helium Prime.

You are on the right track with Meg. The ones that really irritate are those write columns wondering why people write columns about her. Yeah, gee why is Paris so famous? could it be because the media is continually running stories wondering why she is famous?

To criticize Meg for her opinions or her lack of experience is absolutely fair. But to go after her for the way she looks? We’re the good guys, folks. We treat women better than that. We have better manners, more character, and definitely more ideas than the other team. I know they say awful things about everyone on the right, but when we stoop to their level we lose stature and gain nothing.
That being said, Son of Bob makes an excellent point. Has she ever worked in a capitalist enterprise? And no, her daddy’s campaign doesn’t count.
