Frank, I believe I speak for everyone here when I applaud you for your strategic vision. You are clearly making a difference, not just on Earth but in the wider Solar system as well.
But I bet you don’t even get a mention from the MSM.

Psssstt……. they’re going to make it maaaaaaad…… say hello to earthquake central ….

Why is our President getting the US involved in a war of choice when we weren’t attacked first? I think he’s trying to distract us from the economy, and health care, and Iraq, and Afghanistan, and TARP, and (holy crap this guy’s botched a lot of stuff in 9 months). NO WAR FOR SCIENCE! OBAMA CRIED, THE MOON DIED!

I, for one, welcome our new moon overlords.
Our attack is puny and the moon will crush it.

We need better ways to search for water on the moon. Wash the lunar rover – that always makes it rain. At least it does when I wash my car.
Or strand Michael Moore on the moon with only dry packaged mac and cheese.

My friends, I have read the linked article several times and not once did I find the words, “nuked”, “nuclear”, “atomic”, etc.
I am deeply saddened to see such triumphal celebration in the IMAO comment section as though a great and glorious victory has been won. I fear we are compromising with the enemy – the Democratic Party who will stop at nothing to protect the dark and evil…thing that, with NO AUTHORIZATION, has long plagued us with its ghastly shadow.
As long as the moon is allowed to torment us and control our tides and whatnot without repercussions, there will be no peace, my friends!

Jimmy is right. We are sending our forces into a battle we cannot win. We must use our nukes.
October 8th, 2009 at 7:54 pm
Not to mention the shear Lunacy, oh MarkoPolo, that visits the planet every 27 days causing our women to shed their… womanliness… and our men to revert to hungry wolves… of… reckless abandon. The horror of it all, I say; the moon is a scourge upon the Earth.
Maybe we could rip-off the moon’s head and stick it up its a… Nah, that’s an old idea from some anchient sage in Minnesotaland.
Ok, Frank’s right. Nuke it.

Jimmy Carter has, no doubt, already apologized for the attack, claiming we could have found water through more peaceful means, despite there being no inhabitants to apologize to.
October 8th, 2009 at 8:10 pm
And Barack Obama is now saying that we should have been befriending the Moon all along and including it in the the government but not so much as it could regain control of the Earth – Moon system. But the planned Moon hit continues on schedule. Oh, the
humanitylunatics!October 8th, 2009 at 8:42 pm
The moon started it. They bombed Pearl Bailey.

Out: “It’s all Bush’s fault”
In: It’s all the moon’s fault”
NTM!
October 8th, 2009 at 10:39 pm
No blood for water!
October 8th, 2009 at 10:51 pm
Frank, I want pics.
And another thing, wouldn’t it be cool if the moon attacked the Earth with a tentacle? Because it wouldn’t be Bushs’ fault.
October 8th, 2009 at 11:24 pm
Corona, the Moon can’t do that. It just goes around and stares at us like we’re idiots.
Which apparently, we are.
October 8th, 2009 at 11:43 pm
When the moon inevitably destroys us with tides and whatnot, don’t blame the moon. Blame yourselves.
Reap what you sow.

The article said we once shot a rocket at the moon and missed. Where is it now and should we be worried about it? What goes around comes around.

“Tomorrow morning the attack on the moon begins.”
Is this the long awaited retaliation for the attack of the Mooninites?
We had no choice but to bomb the Moon,
as it has no Marxist Dictator’s ass
for our Dear Leader to kiss.
In space, no one can hear you surrender…
