What i just realized, the liberals have a bunch of minorities who vote for their own white leaders. We Conservatives have a bunch of white working class people of faith who vote for women and minorities as their leaders. Guess this shows how really racist we on the right are we hate government so we only send women and minorities.

(of course in states like California the white population is already the minority so, i guess liberals are the party of minorities there)

Now, Dohtimes, you’re just encouraging bad behavior with talk like that. The closest I come to sounding like O’Rourke is comment #6: when I’m too tired I sound kind of like O’Rourke on a bender. Regardless, that’s the best compliment (silly, backhanded, or whatever) I’ve had in a while!

Ironic? Ironic? No, there’s no wry incongruity between what is expected and what actually is. Or even improbable coincidence. Totally reliable as a phenomenon, this one, and with that definition I’d have to agree. It’s like a matter-antimatter reaction. Or more, how darkness hates light.

All I know for certain, though, is that I’m confused by how many old, white men I lust after. I really had no idea.

My political faction is represented by PJ O’Rourke, and the late (and blessed) Bill Buckley Junior.

[The point is how silly, and wrong, the left and the traditional media are by calling the GOP the "old white men party." I do feel closer politically to O'Rourke and Buckley than those here, but those here are indeed representatives of the GOP. As are Frank J, Sarah K, Harvey... though there are specifics they disagree about. - B
