Silver Lining

The only good thing about Obama is that someday they will make his birthday a national holiday, at which point Americans will finally, FINALLY have that day off in August they’ve been dreaming of for so long.

So you really think Obama will one day serve a useful purpose? Dreamer.

  2. MarkoMancuso says:

And to think they already say I, a non-veteran, can take off Veteran’s Day. No more national holidays; except for Talk Like A Pirate Day.

  3. Jimmy says:

Hey, in France, they take the whole month of August off. Since the Liberals love the French so much, I’m surprised they haven’t already suggested it.

  4. Penultimatum says:

Obama’s Birthday would be the perfect opportunity to get throwing-up drunk. Maybe on Colt 45 and Night Train. What do they drink in Kenya?

  5. NO_MO_BAMA says:

You can’t give a day off to people who don’t work so why would he bother?

  6. Carpenter says:

    yeah but…
our Dear Leader, the Beloved Emperor Barrack Caesar Obama wasn’t born he was hatched. He doesn’t have a birthday!

The Holy Emperor Barrack was created and manufactured (by the Soviet Machine) not born!

He was created then hatched for a sole purpose and he is fulfilling his destiny which is to spread Obammunism (a combination of Marxism, Fascism, Maoism, Libertalism, Leninism, Stalinism, ect..) all across the entire world and eventually across the galaxies.

Gods don’t have Birthdays! They just exist.

  7. Son of Bob says:

…however, in order to validate which day is actually his birthday, will we actually get to see a birth certificate?

  8. MDr says:

I vote BO Day to be Aug 31st. That way it will most closely co-incide w/ the coming Dim induced Tax Day – the day Americans stop working to pay their taxes, and begin working for themselves.

  9. DamnCat says:

    You mean Obama’s birthday isn’t Dec. 25th?

I’d rather have a national holiday for the anniversary of Obama’s impeachment.

  10. EnemyoftheState says:

We don’t get a day off on Benedict Arnold’s birthday.

  11. travelwise42 says:

BO Day will be when his Presidential library (an envelope) is opened in a “Ripley’s Believe It Or Not” museum!

Not sure of the date but sometime during this 1st term when he resigns in humiliation…

  12. dulcamara says:

I understand his birthday bash will cost $30,000. That buys a helluva lot of arugula salad with a Schlitz Malt Liquour Bull and balsamic vinegar dressing!

  13. dulcamara says:

It’s promises to be “off the hook” at that Mad Dog 20/20 party with all the rest of the “Mongrel-American” community out on the stoop.

  14. 5th Level Fighter says:

Will it be one of those race-optional holidays like MLK Jr. Day?

  15. Keith Arnold says:

Obama’s birthday a national holiday? Only to the extent that Pharaoh and Haman were the source of holidays for the Jews – Passover and Purim. By ending as disasters.

  16. Carpenter says:

a National Holiday? Wouldn’t that be an official Religious Holiday?
And shouldn’t we wait till he is Sainted?

Saint Valentines Day, held on February 14th celebrates love and affection between intimate companions.

On Saint Obamas Day we could celebrate the um… uh… the love and affection between ummm uh hmm … ok we could celebrate the love we feel for… uh.. umm…
What are we celebrating again? Oh yeah. Our Beloved and Mericiful Emporer Saint Obama who… uh.. um… what did he do again? Thats right he changed ‘things’ and did some ‘stuff’.

    CHANGE! Thats it!!
We can celebrate ‘CHANGE’ on Saint Obamas Day! Which is all that we will have left but at least we will have a special day to celebrate our pennies, our nickles and our dimes thanks to St. Obama who changed AmeriKa

  17. Burmashave says:

I’m with Keith Arnold. We have some holidays that are in remembrance of bad things we do not want our children to forget. In truth, we should have a holiday that commemorates liberation, as in the day after his last day in office.

    August.
Fitting that it would be in a month named after an Emperor.

  21. A.W. says:

Well, i take it as a given that we will have a holiday for Obama, but i suspect it will be more in the “national day of mourning” category than anything else.

  22. Cilla Mitchell, Galveston Texas says:

November 4th, 2008, “a date that shall live in infamy.” Yea, we need to make this a holiday in order for us to reflect on this catastrophic event.

IF we live through the coming Liberal Inquisition we shall remember that day as a Day of Great Sorrow! But if you read the Book of Revelations you’ll see that we won’t win a earthly victory against the forces of evil. Sorry! All we can do is pray. It really is in God’s hands.

I honestly believe that thee Obama is a divine punishment for a Nation gone mad with sin, apostacy, idol worship and child sacrifice. Look at some of the evil Kings that ruled in Isreal. There is little difference between the Baal and Moloch worshippers of Isreal and Judah and the Liberals of today. They did what was EVIL and God gave them EVIL Kings.

So I won’t take it personally if God allows thee Obama to destroy the United States of Sodom (ask USA). And who knows, out of the ashes, someday a Christian Nation could arise. But I’m sure I will be long gone before that happens

  24. shiggz says:

I share a similar view of things Carpenter. If I remember right, the Lord used a “King Herrod” to build the second Jerusalem temple. He hated the Jews but, it was a Herod/Roman strategy to calm down the people.

  25. 4of7 says:

    Acts 12:21-23
“On an appointed day (his birthday?) Herod put on his royal robes, took his seat upon the throne, and made an oration to them. And the people shouted, “The voice of a god, and not a man!” Immediately an angel of the Lord smote him, because he did not give God the glory; and he was eaten by worms and died.”
