An opportunity wasted

Turns out that the president might not be to blame for his latest inability to open a door. Did you see his latest inability to open a door?

[Direct link]

Yes, that first one was actually a door, not a window.

As you can see, he’s finally learned how to use a door knob, because he managed to open the second door.

Which means the first of the two doors was locked.

Which means the second of the two doors wasn’t locked.

Somebody didn’t do his job right. Because that somebody left one of the doors unlocked. And now, Obama is back in the White House.

A perfectly good opportunity arose to keep him out, and someone dropped the ball. The country could have been saved by someone simply locking another door. Now, we’re back to going to hell in a handbasket.

Obviously the nation is in dire need of a ‘Czar of Doorification’ to oversee the locking and unlocking of all doors at the White House.

  2. Jimmy says:

Not only does the man not have an exit strategy, he doesn’t have an entrance strategy, either.

He’s just a walking, kinetic mess.

  3. hwuu says:

So where did he leave his keys? I hope it wasn’t Venezuela.

  4. ss396 says:

OK, so they lock the doors while he’s away. (Why? Are there a lot of thefts in the neighborhood?) I like that part where “nobody warned the staff that he was coming home.”

Nobody – Someone actually has to do that? They can’t pick up a newspaper over there? You know, the ones that had been reporting it for a day or so in advance? Well, they are government employees, after all…

warned – as opposed to “alerted”, “notified”, “advised”? What the h__ do they play at when he’s away?

the staff – needs replacing. Badly.

Henry Gates and James Crowley were both thinking – oh man not another stinking beer summit.

I’m guessing at least a couple hundred billion from the stimulus went to handbasket manufacturers.

    Unionized handbasket manufacturers, of course.

  7. PBunyan says:

Bet he freaked out for a second thinking he’d “flash-forwarded” to 2013.

  8. Johnny45 says:

Its not that hard to keep him out of the White House – just toss him a basketball.

  9. DamnCat says:

“Hello, 9-1-1? This is Joe Biden at 1601 Pennsylvania. There is some black guy trying to break into my neighbor’s house at 1600. Yeah, he’s going around trying all the doors & windows – seems to be looking for a way in. Oh no, he found one open! He’s going in! Better send the police right away. Tell them to be careful – I think he was armed.”

  10. storm1911 says:

Man doesn’t have the keys to his own house. Michelle must have a REALLY tight leash.

  11. Son of Bob says:

What makes anyone think he was actually turning the knob? I’m still not convinced the idiot knows how to open a door…Kenyan huts don’t have doorknobs.

  12. Burmashave says:

    Heh, heh. You said knob.

  13. Bob in Feenicks says:

    “Open up, It’s President Obama!”

    “Uhh… President Obama’s not in.”

“I know Obama’s not in, I AM Obama.”

    “……. Sorry, Obama’s not here.”

  14. Live Free Or Die says:

That’s a scary reflection in the window pane, Barry.

He’s lucky the wind didn’t pick up, with those Dumbo ears.

Because it’s darker inside, than outside, you can’t see Michelle, Saha, And Malia, thumbing their noses at him.

    Secret service guys inside:

    * Shhh, may he will go away

    * ha ha ha ha

    * Jive turkey don’t oprate no doh anyhow! Sheet.

    * Two to one on three! 15 on three! 20 on two at four to one!

  16. Harvey says:

Maybe he didn’t go in the because the UN hadn’t given him permission yet.

Probly ought to leave the staff alone. They are just idiot government employees, after all. To lazy to get a real job.

IT’S OBAMPA – needs replacing. Badly.

But if that wicked servant says to himself, ‘My master is delayed,’ and begins to beat his fellow servants and drinks with the drunken, the master of that servant will come on a day when he does not expect him and at an hour he does not know,

(verse 51 involves ‘kinetic’ action uncharacteristic of that one)

I though Rahm Emanuel was in Chicago these days?

  19. Pieter Nosworthy says:

The President means well…doors can be tricky. It must be nice being the POTUS, no need to go around to the garage…get the ladder, try to see if any of the upstairs windows are unlocked. Crawl through, finally, and fall gracelessly over piled books and kid’s toys to land painfully on the floor with perhaps something sticky lodged your ear. Oh, and the neighbors just called the cops…gee, it must be perty nice being the President.
