Who’s people?

Are you white? Then you’re not Eric Holder’s people.

Holder concluded his comments saying that the Department of Justice doesn’t let race figure into its decisions. Even though race figures into his thinking, I suppose.

But, perhaps he wasn’t lying. Perhaps he was telling the truth when he said race wasn’t a factor. That would mean that “my people” wasn’t referring to any particular race of people. Perhaps it referred to another group of people.

Like who?

  • Idiots
  • Morons
  • Socialists
  • A**holes
  • Mustache-Americans
  • Attorneys
  • New York Yankees fans
  • Snake oil salesmen

See? Race doesn’t enter into it.

You don’t need to list both “snake oil salesmen” and “attorneys”, since attorneys are a subset of the set snake oil salesmen. The same applies to “A**holes” and “New York Yankees fans”.

You would think we could at least expect that when someone that high up in our government made the statement, “I think there’s a great disservice to people who put their lives on the line for ‘my people’” he’d be referring to our brave American military and his “people” would mean Americans. Instead, from the Obama tribe it’s just more self-serving democrat race-baiting politics.

Actually, I believe “attorneys” are a subset of “A**holes” so much of this list is redundant.

About the “New York Yankees fans” I really don’t see where they fit in.

Oh! liberals how my heart grows weary,
    Far from my Kenyan home.

I can only assume from his statement that…for black folks…there must be a vast difference between the phrase, “My people” and the phrase, “You people.”
