NOTE: Next week, in honor of IMAO 10th Blogiversary Week, lolbama! will be pre-empted to bring you a special edition of lolimao! on Tuesday. See the bottom of this post for details.
Pass ’em around, spread the love, and if you make your own, don’t be shy about dropping a link to your pics in the comments. The more, the merrier.
NOTE TO READERS: Hovering your mouse over the picture activates closed captioning for the l33t-speak/txtmsg impaired.

An uncaptioned lolbama! picture for you for the next edition in 2 weeks:
Yes, that’s a real picture of Secretary of State Hillary Clinton
For next week, which is IMAO’s 10th Blogiversary Week, a challenge:
Insert the IMAO nuked-moon logo into a picture.
Doesn’t matter what – a famous painting, a corporate logo, a famous picture, a well-known landmark, an iconic album cover, or whatever tickles your fancy. The moon part is basically a circle, so there’s a lot of places it would fit nicely. For example:
Here’s a nice white-background PNG image you can re-size as necessary:
If you feel the need to add “IMAO” to it, the official font is Copperplate Gothic Bold, which is standard in Microsoft Word. The “Unfair. Unbalanced. Unmedicated.” tagline is Arial.
Oh, and you can easily do this, even if all you have to work with is Microsoft Paint (see tutorial). You don’t even have to trace around the moon image first. Just paste the whole thing on top of the target image, and when you click the “no background” button, the entirety of the white background will drop out.
As always, submit your entries to firstname.lastname@example.org
Arik, for knowing his Denis Leary.
What say you?
#1: When creating lolbama! pictures, please caption with either black or white text, as colors like red and yellow tend to blur badly when I compress the images.
#2: Standard image size for these posts is 350px wide by whatever high. If you can have your images 350px wide before you caption them, I won’t end up shrinking your captions into illegibility when I re-size the images.
MAKE YOUR OWN: The free lolbuilder from I Can Has Cheezburger.
STYLE NOTE: Short captions are usually better. Your goal is 10 words or less, with humor value tending to increase exponentially as the number of words approaches 1.
Send your submissions to email@example.com and – if they aren’t obscene (IMAO is a PG-13 site) and don’t suck too terribly bad – I’ll post them for you. Remember to include your name (and blog URL, if applicable) so I know who to thank.
