Boeing successfully tested a new “microwave missile” that can take out electronic targets with little collateral damage.

Our enemies will be blind and deaf, but at least they’ll have popcorn.

But their microwave ovens are microprocessor-controlled and will be dead, too! So, maybe no popcorn after all.

  2. Harvey says:

Ah, but the microwave in the missile will still work.

Just how effective will this be in the middle east? They’re only one step out if the stone age as it is. Imagine a Neanderthal with an AK, cell phone, and Mercedes. That’s basically what the ME is full of.

  4. Jimmy says:

Harvey, are you saying “Nuke it from orbit. It’s the only way to be sure.” ?

    ….and Hot Pockets!

  6. Harvey says:

@5 I think it’s “Hot Falafels” in that neck of the woods

  7. Jimmy says:

I’d like to see the antenna in that missile. Got to be ultra top secret. Just sayin’.

  8. Dave's not here says:

Wouldn’t this missile be doing them a favor? I mean, they long for the stone age already, so….

  9. Bill says:

The Mercedes and cell phone won’t work but it’s hard to kill an AK

  10. Eric Praline says:

Why not a missile that causes lots of collateral damage but doesn’t harm electronics? That way we can collect all the dead people’s gadgets and sell them on e-bay.

Think of the horror. All the butter melted at once. Everyone’s coffee warmed up. War is hell.

    mmmmmm…Hot Pockets!

Jimmy, not so much top secret as Pop Secret.
